A year passed and the wood was starting to look dry and cracked. My little daughter couldn't go out barefoot anymore because she would get splinters every time. Kris gave me a competitive quote and made an excellent recommendation on a material to refinish and protect the decking. Now the deck looks brand new, it has a little bit of texture to provide traction if it's wet, no more splinters, and it's super easy to clean. It was an all-day job for Kris and two helpers, and I couldn't be happier. I appreciate that Kris is willing to do some little jobs too. I hired him to clean my gutters, and another time I hired him to do some repair work and repainting to part of the exterior of my house. We were responsible for the purchase of the tub, tiles, niche background, and shower fixture, and tub installation kit. The estimate noted that the job would be completed in 4-6 days. This 4-6 day job was not completed by the 9th day due to the staff working half days, not coming due to car issues and by the 9th day, the staff still had not properly replaced the shower handle they lost, they caused damage to our bathroom tile, and damaged the new water spout for the tub. Furthermore, the electrical work for the exhaust fan was not done. After discussion with my husband, we decided that we did not want Jason or his staff back in our home as we were not pleased with the quality of work done, the damage to bathroom floor tile, and for the poor solution to replacing the shower fixture that his employees lost(instead of replacing the shower handle with a handle to properly fit the shower, they used a standard handle and pried it open to fit the shower mount). In the end Jason, did deduct money from the final balance owed but that doesn't take away from the poor experience we had working with his company. While Jason was apologetic, we selected him because of the reviews online. I would hate to see someone else go through what we went through without being properly informed. I do not feel like this job was done properly, or managed properly. I would surely say that I will never hire another company based on online reviews. I just can't trust it. This experience really made me disinterested in hiring anyone that is not referred to us by words of mouth.

The work began in September and ended in October. We were fortunate that the weather was gorgeous but it could have turned quickly. So Anton and his crew would often work till dark ( 8:00 PM) and showed up on Saturdays when necessary. The job was completed as promised. Promises made, promises kept. You can't beat that! Another professional and amazing point I should add is their respect for your home. Everyone expects a crew to clean up when the full job is complete. But Anton and his crew cleaned the entire place every single day they worked. I often watched Anton late in the evening "dusting off" the saw dust created from the carpentry work from our lawn. I doubt other crews do the same. This is the only crew we will be hiring from now on, and neighbors have been asking who did our job and can they get the contact info. Yup. Skilled professionals are hard to find. We are very happy with the job and will be having them back to do some stone steps and railings.

Part of the agreement included filling in all cracks before sealing, but several were left untouched. He also promised to apply two coats of sealant but barely managed one -- and the coverage was noticeably uneven. His equipment broke down multiple times (including different machines), causing a four-day delay in what should have been a straightforward job. It was clear throughout the process that he lacked the necessary knowledge and expertise for the work. To make matters worse, he caused a scene at the end, demanding payment despite the poor quality and incomplete work. He acknowledged the concern and said he would come back to take a look, but we never heard from him again. No follow-up, no return visit, and no effort to address the problems. What makes this even more disappointing is that my husband and the owner discovered they knew each other from years ago and have many mutual friends. We expected that would mean a little extra care and professionalism, not less. We paid for a professional power washing service and expected a thorough job and basic follow-through when concerns were raised. Unfortunately, we received neither.
