Our toilets, showers, and tubs were backed up and this was on a Sunday. After I called I got a call…read morefrom the company who explained the process and that someone was working in our area and it could be up to 2 hours. I okayed that and got a text message 5-10 minutes later and replied Yes to accept the service. Then I got another text about 15 minutes later from the Service Technician saying he will be here in about an hour. After that text he arrived about 20 minutes later introduced himself and I showed him the problem. His name is Mr. Galu - I hope I spelled it correctly. My first impression was he is friendly, clean-cut, professional, courteous, competent, and wearing a mask. He went to the front of the house to look at the round pipe above the ground and saw bush roots around it. He cut the bush and roots, okay by me and I helped, and then got an electric "snake" to go down the pipe and reversed it out. This cleared out everything blocking the pipe and all was back to normal again. He asked if we had a dog and if we bathe the dog in the tub which we do. He saw a lot of dog hair and most likely was the problem after 12 years of baths. More good news! He recommended Roto-Rooter Preventative Pipe Shield Maintenance Treatment - 1 Gallon - good for at least 64 treatments and will last a year. I definitely want something like this. He had some with him and had it added to the invoice. He explained and showed me how to mix it with water, when and how to do. It is only once a month. The next day I purchased a screen to place over the tub opening to keep any dog hair from going down the drain again. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend Roto-Rooter and especially our Service Technician Mr. Galu as he is the best and would like to give him Special Thanks And Recognition (STAR) - Thank you.

After spending only about 30 minutes on the job, I later discovered that they had charged me $750 instead. I called several times requesting the promised report and photos, but never received a response. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend hiring this company.

I just have to give these guys a shout-out because they did such a fantastic job for me yesterday…read more I was very concerned because I thought that I had black mold and needed someone to come to my new house asap. The entire team was so professional, showed up the next day and did a fantastic job on cleaning and sanitizing my air ducts and inspecting for mold. Also the price was less than most other quotes that I had gotten. I would recommend giving them a call should you need air quality assistance.

Airsafe was brought in to address a mold issue in my unit, specifically within the HVAC system, and…read morethe experience was extremely disappointing. They came out multiple times, observed visible mold contamination inside the ductwork, and still failed to properly address the issue. Despite clear visual evidence and ongoing concerns, no effective remediation of the source was performed. Instead, the situation was repeatedly downplayed, and proper corrective action was not taken. This allowed the problem to continue while I remained exposed to an unsafe environment. A bulk sample has since confirmed active mold spores within the HVAC system, reinforcing that this was not a minor or surface-level issue. The failure to properly identify and remediate the contamination raises serious concerns about the quality and thoroughness of their work. If you are dealing with a mold issue--especially within HVAC systems--I would strongly recommend seeking a second opinion from a qualified industrial hygienist or reputable environmental firm. This experience reflects a lack of proper follow-through and raises concerns about relying on their services for serious environmental health issues.

The process of drying our home was acceptable. Dustin was courteous and informative…read more The restoration process was, however, an absolute nightmare. Once work got started we had cameras set up in our house so we would check up on them from our hotel room. The crew was very messy. They didn't cover any of our belongings while they hung drywall. They left trash everywhere in our house (food wrappers, soda cans). They goofed off, watched videos on their phones and did very shoddy work. I'd say at least a third of their work had to be redone. This was all because of what would be a constant problem: no supervisor on site. EVER. The contractor in charge of our job was never to be seen. He would occasionally stop by first thing in the morning to drop off supplies, but was never around more than 10 minutes. I was in regular contact with him trying to understand why things were taking so long and why they were being done so poorly, but I had to also figure out that he was a "fast talker". He would constantly make deadlines and miss them. Promise things would be fixed, but they wouldn't get fixed or it wouldn't be done correctly and needed to be fixed a second time. This became the common routine since he never inspected any of the work done. He also wouldn't provide his workers with proper materials and they were always back and forth to Home Depot or Lowe's. I can understand running into an issue and needing extra supplies, but this was every day. One day I happened to be home while they were working and they wanted to stop work because they had been given the wrong toe kicks to match our cabinets so I went to Home Depot myself and bought them so they could carry on with other work. It was ridiculous. This also meant that I became the defacto crew leader at times. I had to follow everything they did and make notes of what wasn't done correctly or done at all and report back to the company like I worked for them. Our bathroom needed a new vanity and I had to measure the space for a new one because he couldn't be bothered to. Surprise surprise, my measurement was incorrect because I'm not a contractor (didn't account for outward swinging doors) but he bought a vanity based on my incorrect measurements anyway. Two more days lost This went on and on for months. Meanwhile, my wife and newborn son have been stuck on the second floor because the first floor is a jobsite run by a company with no sense of urgency, but very excited to get paid. I made the mistake of giving them payment up front for the first half of work and I think that had a lot to do with them dragging their heels because once they heard I had a second check from my insurance company they would not stop asking about it. It made me wonder if they were having cash flow problems because they seemed desperate for the money. In case anyone reading this doesn't know already, you DO NOT have to pay up front for ANY WORK. Payments are made when work is done like any other business. But the owners and supervisors at Anderson insist they are entitled to that money immediately. It took a conference call with my insurance adjuster and them to lay things out plainly. They had dragged their heels long enough and it was time to finish the job or not get paid. They magically completed everything in a week.
