Amazing! I stopped in because of a meet up. Cutest little cellar and the owners are super helpful and nice. I had a recommendation to try their white Bordeaux blend and it was amazing. I also had their black Moscato. All really good and they had a good variety of wine options and this is a great place to try a variety of wines and it was a nice cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back here and it's a great place to bring some friends or your partner. Oh and they had a great deal with buy 2 wines get 1 free. Shout out to my buddy that had the idea for us to all do this.

Not many food options, just little noshes as might be expected. The wine was good; we had a glass of the Syrah reserve and a glass of the Confession, which is a white blend. Flights an option.

Beautiful space with fantastic wines tucked away in a little plaza in Parker. I'd been there previously, but my husband took my husband for his first visit recently. Marco, the owner, spent so much time sharing information about their wine making process and showing us the equipment. It's clear how much of a passion this is for he and his wife. Bonus is that Downhill Brewing is just a couple doors down and usually has a food truck on weekends and in the evenings!

What a fun experience! I kept thinking this was just a wine shop. It's so much more! They actually make the wine on site, offer tasting, and have a wine bar. The setting is very cozy & intimate. Yet they offer 40 or so wines. The staff is passionate about their craft. They are very excited to walk you through their entire process start to finish, & generous with tastings. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Gary & Eric while I was there. They were happy to guide me through & teach about the wines. They pride themselves on having an authentic European approach & styled wines while using locally sourced grapes. Trust me, you will taste the difference. I had an even better experience than Napa.

I have been here a couple times now. The place has extensive hours of operation, so that makes it rather convenient to drop by. The Purgatory tasting room has been open since April. Since I don't visit Elk Mountain Brewery as much as I used to, it was a pleasant surprise to find this place on the other end of the building. Marko and Ivanka are the couple who own and run this place. On my visits here, I have very much enjoyed talking with them. The interior here is beautiful. Everything is done in tasteful woods with solid chairs, tables, and leather couches. Indeed, Marko actually built a significant amount of the furniture. He explained to me how he rubbed the wood with beeswax three separate times to get such a smooth finish. It was hard to keep from caressing the furniture while drinking the wine. As for the wine itself, I enjoyed pretty much everything I had. The prices for a flight of wine are quite reasonable considering how many one gets to sample. I honestly did not try one that I did not enjoy. However, I found the Malbec and the Petite Sirah to be particularly to my liking among the Reds. As for the Whites, I liked the Chardonnay so much that I took a bottle of it to a party. I also enjoyed the Riesling, and the very sweet and delicious Ice Wine must be tried. Parker is lucky to have such a fine winery rubbing shoulders with their oldest brewery.

Very attentive owners/staff. AMAZING wine and atmosphere. Looks like all the wine is made at the location. Not intimidating either if you're not a frequent wine drinker like me.

Awesome family owned winery! Owners and staff were knowledgeable about the wine and we felt like family from the minute we walked in the door. Great variety of reds and a couple blends -- we are from California, but enjoyed the European influence to the wine making process. We will be back whenever we are in town!

Wonderful place, great wine, fabulous owners.

My mom even said she would prefer to do that in future years vs. going back to the club! It was a very affordable option for Mother's Day but we liked supporting a local business. It also felt more intimate and carefree, not to mention an easy commute & parking situation from where we live. I think the only thing that would make it a perfect 5/5 Star brunch would be bigger forks, add knives, more napkins, & smoother ordering process. We were first timers at the winery so we didn't know what our tickets got us. Really the offering for Mother's Day brunch is on point & some small logistical improvements would really make this a perfect outing. I'd been dying to come to try their wine so this was a great way to be exposed to the winery. We hadn't known that ordering a mimosa meant buying a whole bottle of champagne but after trying their "Indulgence" my mom & I agreed we would get that everytime. They also provide a great plate of food for the ticket price that won't have you leaving hungry. The staff were also lovely. Looks like I'll be coming back soon since my husband who couldn't join us says he wants me to take him to their regular Sunday brunch.

The first thing that grabs you as you're driving through the back, roads of Weld County among farms and ranches is the warmth of this location with trees, a long drive and a small pond. It truly is a picturesque setting and some families were already walking around the pond and nearby grounds taking family photos. We had a small wait for our table, which was not unexpected since had a large group. The drink options were amazing and the bartenders on duty did not disappoint with their preparations. The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. We started with the Charcuterie and Bruschetta Barrata boards along with the Warm Spinach and Artichoke dip. A couple of flatbread pizzas wrapped up the dinner options for us. We were celebrating a birthday and brought a cake in the staff was kind enough to let us keep it in the cooler until it was time to be served. With almost every table filled outdoors and indoors, the staff did a good job of keeping up with our tables needs and balancing the other tables in their respective stations. We did have to seek out our waiter a couple of times to order additional items but they were quite busy. This place is ideal for a light, relaxing meal with drinks and the company of friends. It is not the place to go for those with a hearty appetite as you may be disappointed with the scarcity of options on the menu, but for events in a beautiful setting, you can't go wrong here!

August 26th was their last day to operate at the location of 8130 S University, Unit 110; they are moving to a new location: 311 E County Line, #20; this is the old driver's license place. It's my understanding that they will resume their normal operation at the new place in mid-September.*** As an avid wine drinker, I had to fathom to understand why it had taken this long to come to this winery even though they opened their doors almost 15 years ago. I had passed this quiet shopping center numerous times in the past and although the actual store is not necessarily super visible from the street, the sign (winery) at the entry to the shopping center had caught the kitty corner of my eye every time I drove on University. Whatever the excuse I can thing of, I finally made it here as if to scratch one item off of my bucket list. I bought a deal from Groupon (two-hour wine tasting with award-winning wines for two with one take-home bottle deal) at the price of $41.60) months ago. I simply couldn't ignore such a great deal. Without further ado, let me rate my yesterday's tasting experience. Selection of wines: First off, this place carries world sourced/Colorado made wines. They, of course, have white, red and dessert ones. Grape types are Pinot Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cab Sauvignon, Tempranillos, Malbec, Carmenere, Chianti, Barolo, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Pinotage, Barbera for reds and Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Liebfraumilch, Viognier for whites (I'm pretty sure I have left off a few.) This is quite extensive. Because of this, you'll be guaranteed to find something that will resonate with your likings/palate. Quality of wines: I had no expectations before I had arrived. All I was looking for was a quality time with my friend over a glass of wine. But once I started a flight of my choices, I had a hard time picking which one was better between the first and the second one or the third one and the fourth (and so on) and what I liked the most because they all tasted amazing. I know some say that Colorado made wines are not at par with wines from other states/regions but if you still think that Colorado's wine making level is still pretty low, you should definitely check this place out. Host: Melissa (?) was simply amazing. She was hospitable and attentive to our needs. She tirelessly walked around the floor with several bottles of wines in her arms/hands and kept pouring for us and other guests. She was also excellent at making great suggestions. And whenever she mentioned her favorites and we tried them out, we ended up liking them. Like I mentioned earlier in this review, the place was in the transition of moving. Melissa asked us to pardon any/all mess that we might notice. She also said that certain things had already been boxed up for the move so the only thing she could offer for us to munch were black sesame crackers (but this place does have charcuterie board.) This was totally understandable. Website: Check it out for sure. They offer wine club membership (gold club is $50, silver club is $45 and bronze club is 35); they let you make your own wine (I wonder how this is done; I'm curious); they let you make your custom wine labels (you can commemorate a special occasion such as birthday, wedding anniversary etc.); they let you rent the winery for seminars, events etc. Regular wine tastings: $15 per person for 6 tastes or $25 per person for 1 hour tasting My friend and I left the place (after two hours of tasting) being impressed. I cannot wait until they reopen at their new location. I'm pretty sure it'll be a more superior experience as they'll have everything: the ambience, the food but most of all, the award-winning wines. ***I decided on Chilean Cab-Malbec-Carmenere as my take-home bottle after the tasting***
