I posted a review of this Arizona Preferred Surgeons & Dr. McClary, 2+ years ago. And still today,…read moreI have nothing but the utmost respect for ALL the surgeons within this practice. As well as the staff. They all mean the world to me. They saved my life (more than once) in so many ways. Not just with my health, but the emotional overcoming of what I experienced. They have ALL (from front desk to MA's, to PA's, NP's, Surgeon's, Office Manager, etc.) touched my life and my family's life. I am a 36 year old wife with four beautiful children. My two oldest (daughter & son) are old enough to remember the "me" I was before all the surgeries and hospital stays. Which I spent more time in the hospital than I did at home. The older two children can remember every moment of every scary experience. Even one's that I myself am unable to remember. But my two littles, (daughters), don't remember the days that mama was able to hold them and sing to them, and do any & EVERYTHING with them. They don't know their mom who wasn't sick. But they are all four just amazing human beings. My husband had to go from being the fun dad to being the "do it all" daddy. And he's been wonderful about it. I still need to have a few more procedures and haven't been doing well lately. And there is not another surgical office that I would trust with my life, than this office. I'm a high-risk patient, and Dr. McClary is my most trusted surgeon and human being in general for my complications. But I have had the pleasure of seeing all the physicians within this practice. And I would recommend ANY & ALL of them! My anatomy is just a bit different than others lol! And Dr. McClary has been there from the start of me becoming a higher risk patient. Thank you to all who have read this, if you made it this far ! And thank you to Dr. McClary, along with THE entire staff! Everyone! Thank you, thank you!

AVOID. Lost referrals. Deny they accept insurance. They call me RE: referral - oh do not accept…read morethat insurance. Oh we operate multiple businesses here. Other biz accepts that insurance. Appointment goes OK - DOCTOR IS GREAT. Incomplete orders to medical facility. No pain meds @ Rx - another follow-up. Another call to schedule follow-up appointment - forgot to schedule. Unsure if this is "in play" here, but more and more medical practices are nothing more than shells macerating for some conglomerate. Doctors are employees without any ownership or oversight for the staff. Staff turnover is horrific with least cost apparent. There is a valley urology multi-location practice than worse than this. But my opinion a race to the bottom.

From the minute you step into the office, it gives you a feeling of calm. The entire staff is very…read morerespectful and helpful. Dr. Aki is extremely kind and soft spoken. He explained things thoroughly and options. Everything was well coordinated with surgery and he made sure that I knew I could call his office with any concerns. While waiting in preop, a couple of the nurses came by and said , " Oh you're having surgery with Dr. Aki. We love him. He's amazing" I'm a retired nurse and for not one but 4 nurses to say those things, you know that person has to be beyond amazing. He is very well respected and liked in the medical community which speaks volumes to me. I think what I and everyone found is that he is kind to his patients. A trait that is often lacking in the medical world these days

First the time notice, I have no time to make another appointment, second he has been with this doctor for more than a year with the same insurance, third the person that call to inform us of this was very unprofessional and basically said that because they are having a problem getting paid from the insurance company which is not a patients issue. Money over patient care. What happened to the oath of do no harm, by not able to keep this appointment he is at risk for infection. First give more time to find a replacement, second train staff to talk to patient with respect and dignity, third do not take it out on patient when issues are over money and insurance company. This is not a doctor issue but a staff issue

While most people seem to agree that he is extremely knowledgeable--and I do too--I've also consistently found him to be pleasant, attentive, and willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. In addition, every staff member I've interacted with has been polite and helpful, and my appointments have all run on or close to schedule. Overall, I've had a very positive experience.

Dr Lin injured me during a vasectomy procedure 6 years ago. Before the procedure he downplayed…read morerisks and told me he had never had any issues with any patients. In the aftermath, when I was in terrible pain, he was callous, dismissive and rude and eventually told me it was just in my head. Meanwhile while my life turned into a living hell of excruciating pain. After a few weeks he refused to see me again and insisted I go to the Mayo Clinic for help. When I finally got an appt at Mayo the urologist there said "tell Dr Lin to stop sending all of his problems to us and to fix his own injuries." And he told me that I would likely be dealing with chronic pain from the injury for the rest of my life. I have been to over 40 different doctors and surgeons since. I lost count of the Drs I have seen in search for help and relief. I had a surgery done to correct the injury and the relieve the pain and the surgeon said "there was an immense amount of scar tissue from that original injury." That corrective surgery didn't help. I have spent countless amounts of money seeking help and relief. 6 years later I continue to pay the price for the injury caused by Dr Lin. This is just the truth and I hope it helps someone else in the future.
