I've ordered from PureFormulas.com for years and have never had an issue. Their prices are in line with everyone else and they get things out fast. In all these years, I've never had need of contacting customer service until today. The USPS screwed up delivery of my Black Friday order and decided to return it, rather than deliver it. Pure Formulas processed the refund immediately, which was nice, but I really wanted the products. I called today and spoke with LEWIS in Sales - first call ever to PF - and he was polite, knowledgable, and speedy .... but most importantly, he went to bat for me to honor my request regarding re-filling the order as originally placed.... and they did. This listing is for such a lovely looking store. However my online experience has not been this way. This company does not stand behind its products and does not care about their customers. I recently had an issue where a brand of colostrum burned my mouth (also testing it on my skin to ensure this was the cause and had the same reaction). I contacted the company right away and explained the reaction. I used the product twice so there was a full bottle and I was requesting to return it and be refunded because this was obviously not normal! They gave a very flat and uncaring statement offering NO care and no resolution. I won't purchase from them again. I messaged again stating I did not see this as a "try and return" issue and was ignored. When I recived the products the caspsules inside were stuck together and almost melted,. I was assued that they would not be affected by hot weather. However, they were wrong. it took 17 days for my vitamins to be delivered. I had to order them elsewhere because I ran out before they arrived. I received no response when i inquired about why it was taking so long. When they finally did arrive, the lid was broken and pills were spilled out in the package. these were expensive and I hope they will take them back. I will not order from Pure again. read more

The product is excellent. Communication regarding imminent shipments is excellent. I am set up for automatic distribution and payment. Whenever my circumstances have required they will pause delivery and payment until I notify them to resume. For example: my husband passed in December, and I was away for three months. This used to be a quality company and their website was easy to navigate. Now it's impossible to order online using Safari--or Firefox (the only 2 I tried before giving up). Rather than placing an order quickly and efficiently, the website repeatedly rejects the credit card saying the billing address can't be verified. Then when you call customer service, a not-so-nice, not-so-helpful rep tells you their website is "finicky" about browsers. Says they'll have IT deal with it. BUT.... it will take weeks for IT to do that. Really???! Because they sell a product I can't get elsewhere, I decided to just place the order on the phone (which I don't like to do because of fraud, etc). I figured this would be a quick process since he could see my shopping cart online and could see all my info. Nope. 20 minutes later, order still not placed. Inexcusable. Very sad that a once good company has sunk so low. I won't be shopping with them anymore, other than to buy something I can't get ANYWHERE else. UPDATE: the phone order didn't work either! After being on hold for so long, the guy came back to say they didn't get a response from the credit card company (??? I placed 4 orders online today using that card) so order can't be placed.
