The menu here is large and the food was fresh and yummy. I had the açaí bowl and it was delicious! The atmosphere was hip and they had fun outdoor sitting area - perfect for enjoying a healthy breakfast in nice weather!

Great place to go that will appeal to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-lovers alike! Extensive breakfast and lunch menu, along with a counter with salads and goodies that you can make a plate out of. They also offer a wide range of juices and smoothies to choose from that are mostly vegan or can be made without dairy! I had the falafel wrap ($14) which was amazingly filling and very fresh. Loved the tahini dressing it came with. Also was craving a juice so got the Rejuvenate juice ($7) and really enjoyed that as well. Only downside was that the service was a little bit slow for someone like me who was there on my brief lunch break, but probably is a bit faster if you get your food to takeaway and find a nice spot on the beach! Regardless, definitely will be visiting again, their vegan nachos and their smoothies sounded amazing!

Free range tamari chicken with choice of two salads delicious, nutritious & filling at $22

If you value health, taste and freshness PURE is the place to dine in Manly. I had the Tamari Chicken with a selection of two salads and it was exceptional. Not for those on a budget or short of time, but why rush a good thing? Great place for coffee and a heathy treat too. Although I have already decided, next time I'm coming back for COCO-Whip.

An awesome blend of organic café and organic super market!! Though to look at it, you'd only think it was a café. As you go in, the place has jampacked the little space it has available with tables and chairs and stools, which are in turn usually jam packed with people - it's a popular little place. At the counter there are organic salads and sushi and cake and muffins and other deserts, and you can also order something off the menu. As you travel down the back, the place has tried to cram as much as a supermarket into a small bedroom-sized room as possible. Fruit and vege, oils and conserves, chips and snacks. Then in the freezer theres icecreams and courts, frozen meats and berries, the list goes on. It's a great place if you're an organic food person, so I'd make a beeline for this place, and its atmosphere. I think you'll enjoy the possibilities. Oh, and theres a health pop too. A lolypop but healthy. Love it.

Acai bowl with muesli and banana

Pure Whole Foods' organic philosophy fits right in in the trendy Manly area. Overall the food is fresh, healthy and a tad expensive. There's a good range of fresh muffins, salads, lentil burgers etc in the display, and daily menu specials to order for breakfast and lunch. I enjoy the breakfast menu and love the acai bowl that has fresh muesli and banana. Coffee is also quite good here. The gluten free, dairy free banana bread was ok but nothing to rave about. You can buy various health foods here, including activated almonds!! The disappointing thing about this place is that it is supposed to be a relaxing place, but it's quite the opposite. It's always busy, crowded, noisy and stressful. The staff seem to struggle with the volume of orders and weekend crowds. It's nicer to sit outside if possible, to avoid the noise and crowded atmosphere. I'd like to try out the lunch menu sometime (not on a weekend though!)

I want to eat everything here. Plant-based, wholesome, organic and lots of variety at a reasonable price.

If you love a good vegetarian food this is the place to go in Sydney. Their menu has really good offer but the service needs to be improved.

It's one of those places where it's hard to choose because so many options sound good, and the quality is consistently solid across the board. Service has always been excellent in our experience... friendly, efficient, and welcoming without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is another highlight, especially on a nice day; there's plenty of space to sit and enjoy the beach-town atmosphere. On a separate note (and honestly pretty important for travelers), it was surprisingly frustrating trying to find reliable restaurant reviews in Sydney the way we're used to in Los Angeles. Yelp really needs a stronger presence there... it would make discovering great spots like this so much easier. Overall, Momo Bar is an easy five stars for us. Fresh food, great variety, good service, and a relaxed setting... we keep coming back every time we're in Manly.

Did not provide a powerful flavor profile. Very basic. Lamb dumplings: lamb in a dumpling, that's about all I have. Add some soy sauce.

That said, it is a…read morepopular spot and with the restaurant being on the smaller end, it's best to make a reservation. We were lucky to secure a booking for 1:00P on the day of. Their menu is considered modern Australian with an Italian flair, which is an interesting fusion of cuisines. They have tapas, entrees (appetizer size), mains (larger portions) and sides, which can be shared amongst the table or paired with a main to make for a more filling meal. + GRILLED TASMANIAN OCTOPUS (A$28): The four of us shared this and it turned out to be a tantalizing appetizer! Three meaty tentacles and one flat piece were served on top of n'duja (spreadable pork sausage) with pipes of lime confit on the side. This was my first time having n'duja, which had a smoky flavor from Calabrian chilis that paired well with the grilled taste of the tender octopus. The lime brightened up the dish with citrusy notes. + SEAWEED PRAWN PILLOWS (A$22): While tasty, if I tasted these blindly, I probably wouldn't think of shrimp and seaweed being the two main ingredients. The shrimp and seaweed were finely minced and made into a batter which was then fried into a fritter. They were crispy and light with a soft mochi-like texture inside. Salt on the plate enhanced the flavor even more. + SNAPPER FILLET (A$44): The snapper was delicate, moist and had a wonderfully seared skin. It came topped with a few zucchini blossoms, but that was the extent of the dish, so I'd recommend ordering a side with this. It was placed on a pool of creamy white sauce (which may have incorporated Jerusalem artichoke as noted on the menu) and dollops of black garlic sauce came on top. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the black garlic which had a very earthy flavor that I found too strong and off-putting for the mild fish. The four of us shared a side of BROCCOLINI (A$14) which was a great pairing with all of our mains. It tasted super fresh since the stems still had a nice snap to them. They were simply tossed with extra virgin olive oil, sliced almonds and chili for a hint of heat. My dad enjoyed their spatchcocked chicken and my sister was happy with her sirloin steak. The steak was cooked more than the medium that she requested, but it was still delicious and had a zesty salsa verde. Overall, we had a lovely lunch here. Our meals were wholesome and I could tell that everything was fresh and of pristine quality. This restaurant is right on the beach, so we enjoyed a direct view of the water, giving this spot a beachy vibe with casual elegance.

It's not fancy or Michelin starred or world renowned, but somehow it manages to find the perfect balance between beach casual and chic, while serving amazing food. We stumbled upon it and popped in for lunch after swearing we weren't hungry for a big lunch. Famous last words, right? We started with the caramel Ed garlic bread and piccolo burrata, both of which were amazing. I wanted to lick the plate but my husband gave me the side eye. Someone at the table next to us had the Prawn Salad, and it looked incredible, so we ordered that to split. The prawn salad is the best salad I have ever eaten, and I eat a lot of salads. There were so many flavors and textures and mouthfeels - the creamy avocado, the crispy salty bacon, the sweet tender shrimp, the light oily vinaigrette, the warm salty halloumi. This is salad GOALS. It was so good that we just went ahead and ordered another entree - the grilled barramundi. It was also delicious, the fish was perfectly cooked, the asparagus was tender but firm, the potatoes were crispy but creamy, and the tang of the goat cheese and sweet roasted tomatoes really made something magic. It was temping to get dessert, but we did stop to check out the breakfast menu on our way out. Also - as a pregnant person, I was so thrilled to see a decent list of mocktails! The Passionfruit Fauxjito was really good and tasted like a true cocktail. This perfect little beach restaurant is so unassuming from the outside, but is worth the stop for the gorgeous views, attentive service, and amazing food!

Mostly served by takeaway spots, I luckily found a unique restaurant right on the beach 30 minutes from Sydney that served it! We talked about it for weeks and this was our first meal out in Sydney! Expectations were high! We were excited! The restaurant is upstairs via a barely marked hallway. We found it and ordered and relaxed...with anticipation... The burgers came out, mine was gluten free and without cheese. Holy massive Australian continent! They were huge! Burger With The Lot contains fixings like tomato, bacon, lettuce, cheese, sauces and a perfectly fried egg, grilled pineapple and sliced pickled beetroot. I kid you not! We dove in. The beef is amazing natural grass feed favored in Australia. It's not as fatty as the grain fed, unnatural stuff we get in the US. Different and healthy is good! Every expectation was met! We were happy travelers! But, before I forget, the fries! They are called chips but look like what US folks know as fries. The cool part is they come seasoned with Chicken Salt, which is the favorite chip seasoning in Australia! It's quite different but also quite good. Life is good when a culinary dream comes true and lives up to the hype!

We sat on the outside balcony overlooking Manly beach. There were many gluten free options. We both ordered the gluten free barramundi fish sandwiches. For an extra $8 you can get a drink (soda or water) and side of fries with your sandwich. The fries were cooked with other gluten items so I couldn't eat them but they look crisp and fresh The sandwich was ok but I asked for no sauce since I try not to take too many risks when eating out. The sandwich probably would be better with gluten sauces and breads. The servers were all nice and understanding of all my questions. I would come back for the view and I didn't get sick so I felt they really tried to help this celiac out!
