It reminded me of a boutique where hair and a spa would meet. Maybe a hair spa? After stepping into to this space I met Mr. Patrick himself:). I could tell he knew hair because he was able to read my hair on the spot and tell me how he can revive it. I let him do his magic and he delivered. He gave me the right cut for my natural look, and applied a much needed cellophane to help add sheen and lock in moisture. My hair lacked this due to coloring my hair with henna which can be drying. Patrick is a true hair magician and a life saver! The first time he did my hair he fit me in within a few hours of contacting him. I went to a different salon before hand that couldn't even do a simple crown braid around my head. He said he could do it and saved the day. I had a Halloween event the next day at Disneyland. He came through and it turned out absolutely amazing. I then went to see him to have my hair done prior to the LA Comic Con. If you need your hair braided for any event and even if you have short or damaged hair, he is your guy! I literally will not go anywhere else at this point. A gem in El Segundo! No long waits...no spending all day/afternoon in the salon! I grew out my hair from super short to medium length with the goal being a chin length bob. Patrick gave me just the right cut. I get lots of compliments. Better than that, he takes great care of my hair. I have color to cover gray. He presses with enough heat and pressure to get it straight but my hair doesn't smell cooked when I leave. My hair is well conditioned with minimal breakage and shedding. Patrick provides a great wash and scalp massage. He takes the time to learn what your hair needs and responds well to. Let me be honest, I went into this salon with not much confidence in Patrick. I left the salon apologizing to him for my lack of trust and tipping him. I showed Patrick one picture of how I liked my hair (weave) to be styled and he just glanced at it and said "oh that's easy". I still was uneasy and narrating to him how exactly I like my hair, all of my comments were unnecessary. I can honestly say he is extremely talented with the way he can perfectly style hair in a FAST timely matter. Most times you have to make the decision between fast and perfect but not with Patrick. Okay this is how it went down . I bought the hair and at the hair shop were flyers I picked up a dozen of different flyers I really wanted my hair done the same day. DON'T GO HERE. I had an appointment at 10:00am for a few corn rows for a dance show and I needed them fast. When I got there, the place was closed. I sat outside and waited. And waited. And waited. No one bothered to call me to tell me they were running late and no one showed up. After 20 minutes, I called around and found another place who was nice enough to squeeze me in. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE business I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. When I called back later, Patrick said he'd had a late night and couldn't get there. Really???
