Originally I was a little nervous using this chiropractor in my work building but I finally broke down and gave them a chance. The customer service, the adjustments and the doctors are the most awesome ever. Dr. Murphy is funny, friendly and knowledgeable, he's honest about what condition you body is in and doesn't ever try to cheat you. Tess, the front desk representative is amazing at her job, she contacted my insurance for me and I really only had to feel out paperwork, then be seen. Most reps want you to do the leg work and she didn't mind. She's caring, considerate and professional. I was also extremely elated when Dr. Mac joined the group for the simple fact, I used to see him at the Joint. His hands and personality are magic, together they form the Holy Trinity of Chiropractic work, if you have not been to Pure Relief, you are not ready for true relief, my entire back was locked when I first started seeing them, now I'm flexible again, my sciatic nerve pain and shoulder pain have stopped and they were even able to get my insurance to get me a TENS unit. Dr. Murphy is a great chiropractor and human. My wife and I love Dr. Murphy. We've had regular chiropractic care for over a decade, and Dr. Murphy is our go-to. We followed him from The Joint to his private practice even though it's much farther from home. First of all, he is a great practitioner. He is gentle but very strong and remembers all the little quirks of my body as well as my preferred adjustment methods. Second, he is tremendously kind. He cares deeply about both our physical wellbeing and our lives. When I leave his office, not only do I have increased range of motion (great hip, shoulder, and neck adjustments!) and better breathing (great rib adjustments!), but I also know that Dr. Murphy is genuinely rooting for me. I've been several major car accidents and been avoiding Chiropractors, mostly because I find most Drs annoying or not helpful, until I met Dr. Murphy. I was referred by a close friend of mine and I was skeptical about going to se Dr. M, but over the years my back had been giving me a lot of problems that I decided to give it a shot. I can honestly say I don't regret it. I've been to over 12 sessions with Dr. M and I have been feeling so much better. He is so nice and likes to make sure I feel comfortable throughout the session. He even gave me a next day appointment when I pulled a muscle at the gym and I was panicking because no other Dr would see me ASAP. I really recommend Dr M. I had a very nice cane picked out just before I visited Dr. Murphy and I'm grateful every day to be able to walk up right again. A 7 year old injury brought me in and the kind of care I have received has been precise and professional. Dr. Murphy has made such a difference in my total alignment that I am finally able to heal from that old injury and prevent future injuries to develop. It should be noted that without taking his advise regarding the daily physical therapy, not too mention the life changes that needed to be made, I believe very little of his adjustments would have lasted as long as they have. I have had a lot of back pain lately and figured it could be from a number of different things. I just assumed it would go away on its own, for I am "too young" (27) to have back problems and never had any trauma to my body but could not figure out why it hurt my back to run and jump. I was having a really bad back pain that was shooting down my leg and was referred to Dr. Murphy by a friend from work and on the 1st visit Dr. Murphy explained what was going on and everything he described was spot on! It was confirmed by an orthopedic and an MRI that I have a bulging disc. After a few adjustments from Dr. Murphy I immediately started feeling some relief from the pain! The 2 doctors I visited both recommended surgery and steroid meds and injections but after visiting Dr. Murphy I highly doubt that I will need them. He is VERY professional and knowledgeable. Dr.Murphy and Dr. Mendez are the absolute best! I am grateful to both for the nurture & care they have done for my body. On top of Dr. Murphy's chiropractic work, Dr. Mendez has completely changed how I feel; From a sports injury and car accident, I didn't think my body would be close to 100% at all. Wonderful! On our first appointment we identified many areas of tension (I hadn't been to a chiropractor in 15 years!) and have worked through them with adaptive adjustments over just a few weeks. I feel so much less stiff and my posture has improved in just a couple of weeks. I have been to chiropractors my entire life I seldom seek the treatments of medical doctors, currently I'm 47. I have been to many chiropractors that only maintain a condition with a routine of adjustments instead of treating causes of the conditions.
