Felt way too rushed from start to finish. My gel manicure was done in just 15 minutes -- they didn't fully remove the cuticles or clean under the nails, and there was no shaping at all. I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences. I won't be coming back. read more

Pretty much everyone here is great! I tend to see Tera and Nicole because they're sweet and good communicators! This place put me on to hard gel because I have thin nails and it adds an extra layer of gel so my nails can grow, otherwise they just break and chip even if I take biotin, collagen and all the supplements! Katie the owner is such a sweetheart. Really great service here and I love that I can pay for metered parking from an app that saves all my info, it's really easy. Don't pay $10 for the lot! read more

I've been going to pure nails monthly for the last two years for my hard gel manicures with Tera. She is the best and 100% worth the 30 minute drive to Pasadena. The salon is always clean and they renovated within the last year so it feels new and cute inside. My manicures never chip and always look perfect. Tera can do super cute nail art/French tips or keep it simple. The best part is that I'm always in and out in an hour! Tera is the BEST! read more

This is my go to nail spot! It's easy to make appointments - I always call at least a day or two in advance. There are usually plenty of nail artists there and often gets pretty busy so I don't recommend walking in! Prices are reasonable. I usually get a gel manicure for $40-55 depending if I get a design or not. If you get a gel mani, gel removal is included, but otherwise, it is $15. I always ask for Lynn - she's super detailed and meticulous and will carry out your nail design wishes. Parking can be found diagonally across the street at the large parking garage (sadly it is $1 each hour now, no longer free 2 hour parking). Street parking is near impossible unless you get super lucky. Look no further for your nail salon - this is it! read more

Go see Jessie, just go. Jessie is a master with nail art, she's really fast, very clean and I always have a great conversations with her! I have gone 3 times and I wish I found her sooner. Today she pretty much did what she wanted regarding nail art and I'm really happy with it! Had a great experience getting my nails done here! I made an appointment and was afraid I'd have to wait awhile as two other customers came in. To my pleasant surprise, all three of us were seated and everyone was being worked on with both mani and pedi techs! Lele and Jenny did a phenomenal job on my nails. Great prices and able to tip easily. Tools were sanitized (in those sanitization bags), which was my biggest concern. Will definitely go back! read more

Wow! Let me start by giving a huge shoutout to Katie and John. It was my mom's first time ever doing her nails, and she was taken well care of at Pure Nails by Katie and John. They were very patient in explaining pricing and procedures and telling us how we could retouch up her nails in 3 weeks. They took their time and ensured my mom's nails looked perfect. John cut and shaped her nails with such care and precision and Katie helped to paint and design them to perfection. It was $80 in total, but we would happily come back and redo them with Pure Nails! Worth the price! Will definitely be coming back to redo my mom's nails when the time comes, and perhaps I will do my own nails as well! read more

The nail technician who worked on my nails was friendly, but there was a language barrier as she did not speak English, which made it challenging to communicate exactly what I wanted.I opted for the builder gel, which cost $60. The price was reasonable, and the color matched the picture I brought in, which was great. The initial application of the gel was smooth and looked nice. However, the nails did not last as long as I expected--they started to show signs of wear and tear within two weeks. Sand and dirt got trapped between the gel and my nails, and one nail even came off.Overall, while the price and color were satisfactory, the durability of the nails left much to be desired. Beatriz, we do follow cleaning/sanitizing procedures from Board of Cosmetology. All the tools are cleaned/sanitized and place in sealed bags.

Hi Dominique. The price of design is mostly depend on its complexity/difficulty. Our price range is from $3-5/ per nail, and it costs less when you get more than one.

I've been coming here for a minute now, and they never disappoint. All of the nail techs I've had are amazing, for manis & pedis. They respond fast and always accommodate me, no matter how busy they are. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I don't see myself going elsewhere any time soon. I'm very happy with Pure Nails Spa... They're pretty good at designs, too! The ONLY thing I don't really like is being charged for "cuticle care," which should ALWAYS be a part of the nail services like (mani, fill, new set, etc); but that's minor, so I just eat the cost. Love Pure Nails! I've been to many nail salons, and this one is by far the best I've ever visited. I usually get a gel manicure with French tips, and they offer a beautiful selection of colors to choose from. From the moment you walk in, everything is clean and well maintained, including their tools. It's a relaxing experience while they do your nails. I also love how patient and precise they are! They never rush and always do a wonderful job. All the nail techs who have done my nails here are great, but my personal favorites are Tera, Nancy, Susan. It's crazy you say that because I asked the manager to check the cameras and she refused to do so. Which leads me to believe that your employees stole my headphones. Now you're telling me you checked the cameras? Then why didn't I receive a call? Or why didn't the manager ask for my number to call me back. Instead she hung up on me. So please stop gaslighting me. As if you did something to help. When that was not the case. The manager and staff handled this poorly. Which is why I'm leaving this review. I was there last week for a manicure/pedicure. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the salon, right when I walked through the door, the receptionist welcomed me warmly. They were offering me drinks and mimosa was an option from their drink list. Yay!!!! That's a plus when you needed to destress while enjoying your mani/pedi. The vibe of the salon was very calm and peaceful. My nails also came out the way I imagined. My technician was really gentle but did a great job at the same time. I accidentally found this nail salon after having lunch at Boiling Point next door. I am amazed at the collections of both regular and gel colors that they carry here. So many options. I'm skeptical at first because they have only a few reviews on Yelp. But I found out later that all their reviews are under hidden section. Maybe because they are new. The salon is very clean and relaxing. My nail techs are Paul and Kathy. Both of them take their time working on my nails and make sure I'm happy with the shape and colors. The prices are reasonable. I've been here several times and I can't tell enough how amazing it is. It's hard to find a nail place that really cares about your needs and listen to what you want. I'm so picky whem it comes tp my nails and every time I get them done here, I love them! This place is so clean, friendly & they have ton of color selection. I'm literally obsessed with how long these have lasted! I got a gel extension set here an entire month ago, and they still look as fresh as the day I walked out. I was in the area and decided to get my nails done last minute and found this place on yelp. I walked in and immediately got a fill and a pedicure. They did a great, quick fill with the perfect coffin shape and a holographic nail polish. The standard pedicure also came with a sugar scrub and a hot rock massage. I have been coming to this nails salon for the past 3 months and I really love this place. It's nice and clean inside, and there is no harsh chemical smell like other nail salons I had been to. They have a great selection of colors for manicure/pedicure and gel nails. The ladies work here are super friendly and always make sure I am happy with my nails. Love this place! I came in last minutes last night and they were able to accommodate me with my services. The shop is quite hidden so make sure you don't pass by. It's located next to Color Me Mine. Found this place by accident as i was walking around Old Town the other day. Even though the shop was quite busy when I came in, they were able to take me in after 10 mins without any problems.
