Nancy is amazing!! She pays great attention to detail and shapes the nails beautifully. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with her. read more

Pure Nail Bar - Nail Salons Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

Service was extremely costly. I was very surprised that there were no salon chairs, but rather couches to sit on which were most uncomfortable. I had to use pillows to prop up my head! If you are looking for a pedicure, this is not the place to go as their focus is on foot/leg massage and not foot/nail care. read more

Had my nails done by Nancy. I did my due diligence by reading the reviews to see who was the best at this nail bar, before booking with a nail technician. She did an excellent job. Another staff before her gave me an old cheap nail polish from a tupperware box to put on my nails and I was slightly offended. I said nothing though because I always want to see what a business will do. But then Nancy came and swapped it to a way higher end nail polish from the wall shelves without me asking for it, which made me feel welcome and happy. 5 stars, perfect! read more

I love going to Pure Nails, they do an amazing shellac mani pedicure every time! It's a relaxing space, and Nancy and the ladies go above and beyond to make it a great experience. read more

Pur Pedi. Booked online. Nancy is by far the best nail technician in the area. Efficient and thorough. Never rushes always checks in to make sure you are happy with shape and colour. The leg and foot massage nearly put me to sleep! Thank you for another great pedi! read more

Did you know that when you get a fill of your artificial nails that the colour/polish is an "add-on" service? Me neither. I expect to pay $5 more for shellac polish, but here it was an additional $12! (Are you actually kidding me?) I could not believe when I was asked to pay $63 for a fill and shellac polish (for which I paid $40 at my regular salon...sadly, previous technician has moved, so I'm homeless!) $40 was also the posted price on their website for the service I was booking. So ok, their prices are ridiculous, how's the quality of service? Well, nine hours later, my fingertips are still tender, because the tech removed the barrel-shaped attachment on the Dremel and used a pointed attachment to file the area under my nails. At the time, it was a little ouchie and has since turned into that feeling when you slightly separate your nail from your finger. So...yay. Also, the tech cut me with the filing sponge. I do enjoy a little bleeding at all my beauty appointments Not sure what else she thought would happen when she pushed a filing tool under my nail. Not sure how they perform pedicures without pedi chairs. The entire salon is lacking any of the standard infrastructure of a typical nail salon. The place wasn't busy, which now makes sense. I will never return to Pure Nail. read more

I noticed that this place had bad reviews, but I had a gift card so I figured I would try it out and I was so impressed! I had a gel manicure and she did a fantastic job! Probably better than I've ever had before! Went back again the other day and she wasn't there but I had another gel manicure with another employee and it was also really well done!! Anyway, I haven't had a pedicure here and I probably won't because I don't like the idea of sitting on couches for a pedi (I prefer a chair that is higher up--less awkward on the legs) but I will for sure keep coming back for the gel manis! read more

Went in for a gel set and pedicure. The bill was 150, almost double my regular nail salon. They didn't use powdered gel and whatever was used burned when put under the UV light making the process very uncomfortable. Showed the nail technician the photo from Pinterest and asked to have coffin shaped nails but instead got weird egg shaped nails. The polish was also mis-shaped and lumpy. Will be going to my regular salon to have these fixed. read more

The worst place to get a manicure & pedicure! I got both done, the following night, my polish started chipping off. I kept looking at my nails in disbelief because I have never encountered such a problem. I will never ever go back! What a waste of money! read more

Booked online - 75 mins for gel UV fill. Tech did nice job but they charged me $63 for a gel UV fill when their website says $40. I won't be back. read more

Worst pedicure i have ever had and the lady who did it was trying to make me come see her at her home instead of the nail salon... The techs were rude and the service wasn't good at all read more

Best manicure I've had all year! None of the polish has peeled off since I got my nails done close to 4 weeks ago and I am a RMT who works with oil all day. Will be only going here for all future mani pedis. read more

When I first called pure nails up they told me their prices for manicure gel nails were 54$ when I went to the store first they told me I couldn't get the length I wanted, then I told her I wanted a certain yellow and the lady said "no it's going to be to many layers and to much time", then the lady wouldn't give me the shape I wanted and at the end of my appointment she told me I couldn't give my gift card in even though the card did not specify which location it could be used at and I had to pay the full 80$ which they said was 54$ And this was at the Morgan creek location I highly do not recommend anyone going to this location if they want nice nails read more

Saw some not so good reviews but gave it a go. A bit unorthodox as far as layout goes but it was such a great ambiance to relax and get a pedicure. No harsh chemical smell like at other nail salons. Nancy and her coworker gave my friend and I a top notch pedicure. Perfectly applied polish, I was offered tea/water and the nail supplies/cleanliness was better than most places. My only critique is that they get those nail colour samples so it's easier to pick out a polish colour. read more

I don't even think this place deserves one star. A group of four of us ladies went to get our nails done before heading to Vegas for a bachelorette party. We booked appointments in advance, They were overbooked so two of us sat there as the other two friends of ours started getting their pedicures. Eventually after sitting there mindlessly for a while, I finally got a bowl full of soapy water where I was then left for over 10 minutes to the point where when my pedicure actually started the water my feet were in was fairly cold. The lady did not speak at all and it was just awkward silence throughout the service. After mani-pedi's were done,we proceeded to pay - and Pure Nail Bar charges $20 extra on top of the mani - pedi service for shellac... and not just $20 for both; a total of $40 for shellac polish. Their sign in store is very misleading as it does not say per set of nails - just addresses $20 for shellac. A whole bottle of shellac nail polish doesn't even cost $20 so I'm not too sure how it was justified charging their customers that much. Not to mention I also got black shellac polish that you could see my nail through because of spots missed. If you are wanting a piss poor pedicure with cold water, to stare at a wall, and sit on an uncomfortable couch, & being charged $40 for shellac polish on top of your $50 mani / pedi charge then this is the place for you! read more

Last year, I've got my acrylic nails done from here at Pure Nails Bar and they did such a good job with the coffin shape and with the colours as well in mint green (I wished I've taken a picture of it)!! But, the nexts following day it all were starting to pop off and I was really upset because I've taken the time of my day, just to get a nice set of nails done and turning out it was really disappointing and it was expensive, $85 bucks but I get it I was in White Rock's location. I'm happy that I kept my receipt and they fully refunded me back, the staff seemed not to happy but.. like Shit lol GET BETTER SOLUTIONS/POWDERS or whatever they use IT A RIPOFF tf!! So, fast forward now. I was like okay I'll give them a chance again maybe, they probably won't messed up simple polish. Yesterday, I've just got a simple shellac on my natural nails and it turned out very well done and shellac should make ur natural nails stronger some shit lol. They have put a good amount of nails polish on like 3x and the base coats, 2x as well. Curing it in between as well. Today, coming home from work I noticed my index finger the side of my nails just chipped a bit of it and I've paid $50 bucks on it. I don't recommend anyone to come here, YES!! They do an awesome job but the quality of it, It's not worth it, waste of money and waste of my bloody ass time. Like, shit I've been to other nail salons and I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM from any places then here!! Disappointing af read more

I have visited many of Pures locations and have generally found them to be pretty good- I've never left unhappy with a service. I went into this location last week (mid day, mid week) and had a mani pedi combo. Separate girls worked on my fingers and toes, and while my pedicure was fine, my manicure was not. The polish was thickly applied and bubbled and then ended up chipping the same night. I could have done a much better job painting them myself, which is always frustrating when paying for a service. In hindsight I probably should have complained at the time, but next time I think i'll just skip the polish all together. read more

Today my girlfriend went in for a simple manicure, instead she was told her nails were too thin and simply received a polish removal- a service advertised at $5. Fortunately for Pure nail salon, their debit machine was down which she was conveniently made aware of after the service was completed. Instead, she had to walk a block down to the nearest ATM take out $20 and return. Upon return she was greeted with the news that her total was $35, which warranted another trip to the ATM. On the phone Pure nail salon denied all responsibility claiming they gave her the manicure, do they think she can't tell if her finger nails have a manicure or not? read more

I went here couple of times. Last time I went there were couple of men lingering around. It think they were the owners. It just made the environment uncomfortable. I might go there again but if they are there all the time I think I will find another place. As for manicures, the lady who did my manicure was nice and her work was decent. read more

I went her for a manicure and they gave me a nail fungus. Never had one in my life and was on medication for over 6 weeks for it. Won't be back. Contacted them regarding it and they just said they will review their hygiene practices. read more

I wish I could give this NO STARS. DO NOT GO HERE. This has to be the absolute worst manicure/nails and pedicure I have ever seen. I purchased a pedicure and gel nails. I was sat on an uncomfortable couch where I leaned over to the side for almost 2 hours while the tech put on what I can only explain as the work of an 8 year old. My gel nails were super think, she didn't even use a file, they were bubbling, lifting within 1 day. One of them even broke off within 24 hours. She had to re due 3 of my nails multiple time just while sitting in the chair. I had to go to a different salon the next day to have all my nails filed and completely re done. The tech said she had never seen something so bad. My pedicure was ok but still lots of rough spots on my feet. All in all cost me close to $150 and then I had to pay the next day at a different salon to fix the mess. I tried calling to complain but so far nobody has answered the phone. I can't stress enough how bad this experience was. Do not spend your money there. This place should have been closed down a couple years ago. read more
