Pure-Mettle quite literally saved my hair from me. My hair had turn moss green from a semi-permanent dye I had bought from sally's. For me, my hair is my statement piece, its big, curly, and beautiful as Michael always tells me. me. So, when my hair turned green, I started to become insecure about my hair and knew I needed help. Luckily, I was friends with the lovely lady Madison, and she booked me an appointment. When first walking in the vibe is so relaxing and everything is so clean and nice, i felt so calm being there. Madison and Michael together helped turn my hair from my worst nightmare to my best look yet. They took their time, very thorough and also educated me on what my hair needed and what they had to offer to help my hair stay smooth and healthy and they have a lot of products! and anytime I attempted to make a joke of my hair, Michael and Madison were quick to remind that my hair was still indeed beautiful but just needed a little pure-mettle love. I visited the lovely stylist, Rachel, last month for a new cut and she did an amazing job on my hair! I was really nervous about cutting my long hair due to recent hair loss, but Rachel made me feel comfortable. I trusted that she knew what she was doing, and I was not disappointed! My haircut turned out better than I imagined! :) Now my hair is fuller and healthier than ever. I've gotten many compliments, thanks to Rachel! She was so friendly and I appreciated her making conversation with me, especially during these times. I previously had really long hair and she was able to give me a cute short cut with layers. While visiting Tucson, I was able to get in for a haircut with Rachel, and I'm beyond happy with the results. As a guy who barely knows what he wants, but knows that he wants to look good, Rachel was able to take my meager requests and expand upon them greatly. She knew all the right questions to ask that would draw the right answers and descriptions out of me. She had a soft touch throughout the entirety of my haircut, and blended my taper perfectly, which is a critical component of a high quality haircut for me. As a shop, Pure Mettle really couldn't be any better. Doors open to a polished industrial aesthetic and an incredibly genuine, enthusiastic greeting from Lance at the front desk. Everyone else working at the moment took the time to offer a friendly hello as I passed through as well. Exceptionally clean throughout, it's easy to tell that they take great care of the surroundings that you walk into and spend your time in. If you need a fresh look and younger skin, you need to see Tina Arvizu at Pure-mettle. At 61 with the signs of age and scaring, I came to see Tina to see what she had to offer. With a few micro-needling sessions and dermaplaning along with some Dermalogica products I have seen dramatic changes. Fine lines are all but gone and skin texture has greatly improved. Tina is a complete professional and very highly skilled. I am amazed at her knowledge and technique. She also does lashes. I didn't feel extensions were for me so she did a lash lift. Wow. She is wonderful, her work is precise, high quality, and her knowledge is evident in the final product. First time at Pure Mettle and although I was a bit apprehensive initially I can't say enough good things about my whole experience. When I entered the "speak easy" doors I was greeted with smiles and warm genuine hello's from everyone. Can't say enough good things! It's scary going to new salon and trusting your hair to someone you don't know. My son attends U of A and desperately needed a cut. The experience was great from start to finish. Lance scheduled his appointment and was so warm.
