I have been with Lorraine for almost a month now and can safely say that she has completely changed my life and point of view on food. She provides such a comfortable and safe environment to talk about not just food, but my cognitive and mental outlook on my life. Upon my consultation, she made sure to note all aspects of my health and past eating habits, and created a delicious customized meal plan based on my preferences, as I am primarily plant based. These plans also integrate meal prep into them, which has reduced my snacking tendencies, as I can just grab my prepped meals from the fridge. I have fallen in love with cooking at home again and get excited about each meal as they are all so diverse and completely satiate me. It's crazy how quickly my taste preferences have changed and crave her recipes. The 3-month plan I opted for includes weekly check-ins, where Lorraine doesn't mention calories or weight every time, but more of how I am feeling mentally based on the foods I am eating. She is also sure to educate me on certain foods to avoid or gravitate towards which can positively affect my lifestyle. I look forward to seeing her each week because she celebrates every small victory with me. I could not recommend anyone else- thank you Lorraine!!!

Nine years later, I reached out again in Feb 2020 to reset after a couple of years of deprioritizing my health. Seeing Nikki again was like riding a bike - she was as warm, understanding, and supportive as ever. She created a very thorough shopping list with a ton of new brands and delicious recipe options that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Nikki made food shopping and cooking FUN because I could feel and taste the difference of what I was putting in my body. And all super easy to find and make!! Fast forward to COVID-19. I was lucky enough to start doing the work a month before the world changed. By then, I was already used to making better food choices for me and having Nikki by my side. While a lot of people were eating through their anxieties, Nikki's support helped me have the semblance of agency by making the most nourishing and simple meals. While I don't weigh myself, I'm definitely thinner and my clothes fit looser. And I feel amazing all around. More than that, Nikki's guidance is holistic. She not only focuses on the food, but also the mental and emotional. Nikki probes deep to help me get in touch with my feelings and then releasing them. She is the real deal and an amazing cheerleader - during the good and the bad! Now getting down to business. Nikki is super responsive (almost at lightning speed) and she's cost conscious. There's a stigma about eating healthy being expensive, but Nikki finds you options and promo codes galore. Seeing her is an investment in your health, and you learn how to maximize it! Call her. I needed to reconnect with Molly after a nasty bout with covid back in January 2021. After getting sick with a complicated virus such as covid, I was truly blessed to start a new health journey with Molly. Molly not only sees the value of nutrition, but also the mental and spiritual aspects of health. She will recommend: books, films, and self-care practices that will get you feeling right again. She got me to start eating dairy-free again; this was huge for me. Also, she got me to start eating more plant based again as well! This time it was actually easier than anticipated. I now eat basically 90% plant based and some days have no meat at all. I really feel stronger and my performance has been better at the gym as well. Another thing is, Molly understands the importance of boundaries and being a bit selfish about your health and self care at times! Her simple tips go a long way, and if you utilize all these small tips they will yield results and pay dividends. Molly is so positive and encouraging as well. Whether you are eating the rainbow of fruits and veggies or smashing workout records, she is always happy to hear the good news! She will cheer you on through your journey and be right by your side. I truly love her as a person and health coach. I really could not have achieved everything that I had in the past several years without her help. If you need a nutritionist definitely use Molly, you will not regret it.

I've naturally learned how to cut back on or eliminate things my body just doesn't respond well to. I've never been one to "enjoy" salads. It's taken me years to get here, but now I just throw in what I want, even if it's just a few ingredients, and my body thanks me for it. Not only that, Molly has taught me how emotions fuel my body, and not in an intellectual way. It's really about leading with intuition, and that's something that develops over time. My skin has never been clearer! Previously, I'd try different products that would work for a time, and then it'd be back with the breakouts. It's taken some time to get to the point where I am now, but overall, I'm so happy. There's still work to go, but I never thought I'd see the day where I'd go an entire month without one new pimple. Since quarantine, I've lost weight without even trying (and still ordering Seamless), and my face doesn't seem gaunt, which has been in an issue in the past. It just feels like this is how my body is supposed to look now, but I'm still open to the journey and feeling good where I'm at. There are so many breakthroughs that I've had under Dr. Molly's care, it's wild! I've confronted issues with family and friends in loving ways and I treat myself with more kindness. Everything is truly connected. I now know I can never live without Ezekiel bread ... like ever! LOL Thank you Dr. Molly for all of your help and guidance!! If you've ever struggled with eating or just need more direction and clarity, get her on the line or send an email - you will truly thank yourself!

I had discovered acupuncture a few years prior, when I had been hit by a car and acupuncture was part of the covered treatment. In the 10 years I have been getting acupuncture and body work in NYC, I can unequivocally say that Kristin is the most gifted healer I have been to. She was very thorough in her assessment of my conditions, and every visit is comprehensive, no matter how sick or well I am. I have been to several acupuncturists who give a very "out of the box" set of points and not much discussion. Kristin goes beyond surface level presentation of my injuries/issues and takes the time to discuss other aspects of my health that may be contributing, namely nutrition and exercise. Her touch is very healing and she has the ability to precisely target points in a powerful way. Additionally, she is vibrant, friendly, empathetic and easy to talk to--all the qualities you'd hope for in a healthcare provider. Her practice is situated in a comprehensive chiropractic and physical therapy office, so it is easy to get multiple complimentary treatments if needed. I have made many personal referrals to Kristin, and all have found her to be excellent.

We didn't really connect on an emotional/psychological level and her hyper rational approach didn't always work for me. Having someone to be accountable to is always helpful, but I didn't feel like I was getting much insight beyond what I've read in books or online. What really tripped me up was her cancellation policy. I had to pre-pay for my time with her and when we weren't connecting and I didn't think I had much more to learn from her, I still had to pay for the two months of sessions I no longer wanted to attend. It's her policy and that's fine, it just really didn't work out for me and I would have loved some recourse for the situation I found myself in.

If you value your time & sanity I would recommend you not come here !…read moreI rarely write reviews but I feel that sharing my experience of Ny Nutrition Group can help someone else avoid stress. Since I saw so many positive reviews I thought I made a good choice but wow was I wrong ! I went to Ny Nutrition group because I needed help with learning to eat healthy again .I looked through their website and read through all the services. Quoted from the site " the dietitian will design a customized and personalized nutrition plan and meal plan service that fits your unique needs and goals. This can include a structured menu, goal setting, shopping list, recipes, exercise tips, supplement recommendations'' photos will be attached. It looked good so I reached out and booked a session with them.My intention was to get a customized meal plan I could follow. I don't know what to eat, proper portions, and that is why I wanted a meal plan. Quick update: I just checked their website & since my talk with the owner Lisa, they changed it. Luckly I screenshot their website before the change, attached will be the one I saw originally & the 2nd one is the one they updated these last few days Oct 5- 1st session with dietitian Stephany. After sharing my history, goals, struggles, etc., she pulled up some recipes from the internet that looked good. I asked if I will be getting a shopping list with my meal plan . She said she usually expects her clients to do that. After some back and fourth I stated that I could have just found my own recipes online and not come to a nutritionist if that was the case. She seemed annoyed and stated fine she'll do that for me. Oct 6 - I emailed Ny nutrition group & told them even though Stephanys a nice person I did not want to continue to work with her. Among the reasons, I didn't like feeling like I was forcing her to do something she did not want to do, create meal plans & shopping list. I went there specifically for a detailed meal plan with shopping list. I spoke with Ny Nutrition & I explained my needs again. I asked if that would be a problem. Once I clarified the help I was looking for they recommended others who would be a better fit for me. (images of emails will be attached) I booked a session with Kylie Gearhart MS, RD-AP, CDN, CNSC for Oct 28 Oct 28 - I met with Kylie Gearhart that evening. During our hour session I again shared history, goals, struggles etc, we discussed food options, what are my food preferences etc, I asked about the meal plans/ shopping list , I stated I wanted a week - long meal plan She told me she did not provide meal plans or shopping lists. I frustratedly told her that is why I was there. She told me that was not part of her job and that they do not pay her to go home and write nutrition plans etc . I snapped back and said that it was literally mentioned on the website as services provided. She pulled up the website because she thought she was going to prove me wrong. Instead she said "oh huh it does say that, well I'm going to talk to them about it''. She begrudgingly agrees to create one for me and added that because she was going away for the weekend, she would try and get it done before she leaves. Kylie Gearhart made it seem like she was doing me a favor, but how!? Thats what I thought I was paying for . I was stunned by her unprofessional behavior. If I had been told that they do not provide this, I would not have wasted my time with another session (It takes me two hours of travel time roundtrip each session). However, I communicated my needs via email and was given the green light, so I was confused and frustrated by the fact that I had to argue about their services. Oct- 29 The following day I got 3 calls back-to-back . When I checked my messages, it was Lisa Moskovitz the owner she left 2 voicemails She explained that she was calling about my session yesterday, and that she wanted to make sure we are all on the same page and wanted to discuss my request. Her 2nd message stated that she wants to know what my needs are because they are unclear This left me stunned.. I communicated my needs with them 3 times already ! When I was able to call Lisa back she states she wants to know what it was I was looking for, what were my needs. She then goes on to tell me what Kylie told her. Then instead of allowing me again to say what my needs were, she goes on to tell me that what I am looking for they don't provide. Then she states that the services I am looking for they do provide but actually cost more money. Once I realized she wasn't really calling me to ask me anything, she was just trying to put me in my place (!?) I got angry and started crying out of frustration. I told her I would call her back. This felt unreal, how was there an issue if all I went to them for was what it stated on their website. Their behavior made me question if I was wrong. Was I being difficult? Was I being unreasonable? Was it me being a pain in the a**? review continued in pic

During these sessions, Sammi did provide some guidance on how to break up eating through the day and ideas for what to eat, but nothing was unique or, frankly, worked.
