It was my first time here, but not my first colonic. The place was clean and professional, my therapist - not so much. "Red" didn't even introduce herself. She insisted on regaling me with her favorite diet even as I tried to say it did not work for my serious health condition. When my mind went off her discourse for an instant and focused instead on what was happening with my body, she snapped at me. This was my first colonic and it couldn't have gone easier and more pleasant. A big part of that was because of RED she is the best and the funniest. I felt like I was talking to my best friend or a sister, Sagittarius sister. I was seen immediately had 10 gallons of water clean out my colon and walked out of there 50 minutes later. The room wasn't chilly it was a warm relaxing environment with soothing sounds from the playing recorder. I was also glad there was a toilet in the room but turns out I didn't have to be on it long. I was so glad to be drained out. My experience was a good one. Especially since I already only eat fruits and vegetables anyway. I wanted to get cleaned out before my trip and even though i felt a tad bit of pressure it wasn't an uncomfortable experience at all. I will definitely make this a regular routine, probably once a month and will book with Red because she made me feel comfortable. Thats a biggie for me. Glad I did it! It's a good thing to clean that old stuff out don't like being full of sh!t. Also forgot to add the reason I chose this place was because of the reviews on Yelp. I did my research first. I've been very skeptical on colonics, but after a juice cleanse retreat last august and going for colonics while there, I knew my digestive system needed a lot of help and continued maintenance. Long ago I went to another colonic system, which I did not like and found highly unpleasant. The cramps and the need to hang out by a bathroom for a while afterwards, was completely unpleasant. Cassie uses the gravity method, which is the most gentle and often doesn't cause the "after effects" of feeling like you need to be near a bathroom for a while. Once your session is done, that is just what it is and go about your day. As a therapist, she is wonderful. She is a vegan, but doesn't get militant about veganism. Instead she encourages me to work towards better eating, as it's all a process. She is also super knowledgable on nutrition and we've had frequent conversations about juicing, food combining and my own working towards a better diet. If you are looking for a colonic therapist, Cassie is definitely terrific. While colonics are not a pleasant subject for cocktail conversation, taking care of your digestive system allows for healthier living and the ability to have those occasional cocktails! read more

The experience is awkward when it's your first time and uncomfortable for my body, but the staff is cool and really makes it as comfortable and as open of an environment as possible while also respecting the space and time you need after the process. If I could give this no stars I would. First of all the practitioner did not wear gloves which I find extremely un sanitary. Throughout the process she kept chatting away about things that had nothing to do with my stomach or digestion, which made it very difficult for me to be calm and focus on my breathing.
