Ismael Hernandez is a good leader and his staff are professional, polite and responsive. It only took his crew approximately 9 days to finish the project with the flexibility to work on weekends. They went above and beyond while sticking to the quoted price. No hidden charges. The cost to complete the project was extremely reasonable and cost friendly to us. Such a relief from a stressful journey of roof damage to our bathroom. I highly recommend this company. Ismael clearly is here to help Monterey residents who need competent mold remediation, demolition and reconstruction services. Plus he stands by their work. The damage to our bathroom was a frustrating experience and they become a light at the end of the tunnel. Again, thank you for everything, Ismael!!

WHEN A GIANT TREE HAS FALLEN ON YOUR HOME, AND YOU ARE FEELING OVERWHELMED, CALL MONTEREY BAY…read moreSOLUTIONS! Fortunately, our Carpet Cleaner alerted me to the fact that my dealing directly with our Insurance on a Claim meant that I better make sure that I was able to identify all of the damage to be included in the Claim. He recommended that I call MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS (MBS) in before I went much further. The BEST recommendation I've had in a long time. Monterey Bay Solutions came in, and efficiently used their state-of-the-art Infrared equipment to identify HIDDEN WATER BETWEEN THE WALLS. We knew that the giant PINE TREE branch had fallen through the roof & attic, and was sticking into the Master Bedroom. But, the CAL FIRE firemen were there in minutes,, securing the roof, pulling out the branch sticking through the roof, and otherwise minimizing and capturing the rain water as it came into the bedroom. WHAT WE DID NOT KNOW was that the rain had gone between the walls. So, our timely call to MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS saved the day. We would have thought that we were clear of any water issues when the Cal Fire put a 30 gal tub down to catch that water, but Monterey Bay professionally documented all of the hidden water we would not have known was there, growing mold and other problems. MBS provided an exceptional Damage Remediation Plan for our Insurance, complete with INFRARED PHOTOS to document the damage by providing irrefutable proof by the vivid colors which indicated how bad it was. Then, they neatly and professionally cut the drywall open, placed their dryers and their Dehumidifiers near the areas needing to be dried out ! The Tenant told me that they were so effective that his bath towel that had been left in the bathroom shrank into a tiny ball once the moisture was all pulled out. But, the point was that, it is only with those machines that the areas between the walls would ever have dried as quickly as they did. I HATE TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD NOT CALLED MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS TO THE RESCUE! Ismael came out the very next morning, ready to prepare a professional plan for our Insurance. If I had signed off on the house being "good as new," I would have regretted it. MBS both dried the damp areas, but they also applied an anti-bacterial product on the wood to make sure our sensitive family members were safe. I whole heartedly recommend MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS if you find your self with water damage. Or, if you simply want to use that expertise to clean your carpets!

He painted new cedar shake siding and trim on the exterior to match our house, and new rough sawn siding with baton trim on the inside. The inside also featured a vaulted T&G ceiling with exposed rafters and double chords sandwiching alternating rafters painted white (a lot of nooks and crannies to paint properly and create a visual boundary between the wall and ceiling color). My wife and I were very satisfied with the quality of work. We are sticklers for detail and Rick was very receptive to all of our inputs. He also gave good recommendations when we solicited his advice/opinion on our color scheme and product selections. I also want to note that Rick had EXCELLENT communication throughout the process. Rick told us what he was going to do, and then did it as he said he would. As simple as that sounds, it seems rare to find reliable people to work with. His assistant Greg was extremely courteous and we enjoyed having the crew on our property for the job. I wouldn't look anywhere else for future painting needs in the Monterey Bay Area.

The restrooms were incredibly clean and modern. They smelled clean. They were stocked with toilet paper and soap. The "ladies" restroom even had a framed picture on the wall. I did add some fancy lotion and fancy air freshener for guests' use. It is safe to say that they were the nicest portable restrooms I have ever seen. For those interested in availing of the portable restrooms you have to be aware of a few things: 1. The unit is school bus yellow. You have to be OK with that. It's their thing. I thought it was festive. :) 2. You have to have access to electricity and H20. 3. Have a conversation with them about where you're putting the trailer. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue for us. 4. For the most part interactions occurred over the phone during their business hours and they are closed for lunch. I was able to submit agreements via email - so that was nice. Customer service was excellent and prompt. They answered all my questions within a reasonable amount of time. When something more complicated came up (like location of the trailer and moving it in and out of weird space) someone with more knowledge got back to me right away. The only thing that was challenging was the trailer's exit from the property. It was so full (gross, I know) and the driveway on the property was so steep that the trailer hitch scraped the pavement a tiny bit. I guess our guests ate and drank A LOT.
