They were not able to answer my questions and one of them had just graduated and was trying to start her holistic counselling business and kept trying to sell me her services. I told her I was not interested but she kept trying to get my personal information to contact me for a consultation. It was making me uncomfortable and I do not like having pushy people trying to sell me services I am not interested in. Their prices were not competitive with their competition and I only ended up getting one item even though I needed six items. I will not ever go back.

Someone got the idea to renovate the space into an Integrative Holistic Mandala Pharmacy full of $100 face creams, locust juice kidney tonics, and plenty of woo. If you're into that kind of thing, you'll find all the jojoba soap you'd like to find, even if it's not from brands you're familiar with. As far as a pharmacy for filling prescriptions, I can't say. I went in to get some rubbing alcohol, as I need to IM inject for a medical condition. The labcoat person immediately made jokes as to whether or not I planned on drinking it there. Har har--you don't have me laugh, guv. As for the cashier -- a quintessential specimen of all that has become pretentious in Kitsilano's strange combination of Buddhism and Botox -- a more snobby person you wouldn't find. Customer service matters. Friendly service matters. Why patronize a shop that acts patronizingly towards you? There are plenty of friendly alternative pharmacies in the area. I'd avoid this one.

My husband and I were going on a live-a-board dive trip and very concerned about getting seasickness. Our doctor provided a prescription and Pure was also able to suggest some alternate preventative non-drug approaches. In the end, the preventative items they suggested did the trick and my husband didn't end up taking the prescription drugs. I have recommended Pure to a number of my friends and very happy to have such a wonderful alternative to the chain pharmacies in Vancouver.

After the Pure Pharmacy driver finished venting on me and drove off, the bystander/retired policeman approached me and gave me his info in case I wanted to go to the police. He felt that what he saw was an assault by the Pure Pharmacy driver on me and should be reported. I have not made a decision, but I will never do business with ANY Pure Pharmacy ever if this man represents their hiring standards. He took road rage to a whole new standard. I like that the containers are marked with clear pricing, nutritional info, and the brand of each product I picked up some local coffee beans roasted by Agro Roasters and some dried fruit They also have shampoo in bulk, laundry sheets, bars of soap, a nut butter machine to make on the spot. I also love the self serve kombucha bar! Can't wait to be back to pick up more goodies They are getting ready open up a store in North Vancouver soon
