Being one of the myriad of individuals who come from out-of-state or out of the city to visit this amazing practitioner, I can tell you our eight hours of driving is more than worth it. It is rare to find a healthcare professional so well-studied, so thoroughly skilled at diagnostics, and so tirelessly attentive to patient's needs. Years ago I saw him when I had health issues over which other physicians puzzled (including very fine and caring specialists), but Dr. Bellonzi was instantly able to diagnose and remedy. Then after years of struggling with excess weight and trying everything--even two entire years with no sugar, no gluten, etc., etc., yet never losing weight--I returned to Dr. Bellonzi to give his weight loss ideas a shot.
Was I . . . ever . . . stunned. The man's an utter genius! After listening to each and every detail of my own attempts to lose through the years, he instantly saw what the problem was and set to work. Did I have to work hard? Yes. Did he push me beyond what I had thought myself capable in the areas of nutritional eating and physical exercise? Yes. But, ohhhhh, what an amazing experience. To discover I could do it after all! This short, 51 year old little mommy-type--truly the non-athlete of the century--is now regularly doing exercises which would render a grown healthy male weak and pale on his first few attempts. Dr. Bellonzi's expertise and caring patience enabled my metabolic rate to be entirely reset, and I lost forty-one pounds in only twelve weeks. What fascinates me the most is pondering the foods I now crave. They would have repelled me before! Healthy, nutritious, beautiful . . . real foods.
Thank you, Dr. Bellonzi and your wonderful staff, for the wonderful guidance and care you've shown me and my family, the patience as I drove from such a long distance, and for not only rejoicing with me over each little victory, laughing with me over my stupid jokes, and putting up with the many tears which were shed when at first I felt so hopeless.
Yes, Dr. Bellonzi's practice is called Pure Health Design. But I can think of a better name, a better word to describe the whole package: it's called HOPE. read more
