Eyelash Extensions & Esthetician. Lina is a magician with my lashes! I've had wonderful compliments how they look so natural.
Anne A.

Lina is a highly qualified esthetician and is a magician with my lash extensions which look so natural. I've been going to Lina for over 10 years. Support your local business and try Pure Essentials!

Mole Removal by Lina
Steve T.

I don't do facials often but when I do, I go see Lina. I recently found out my cousin comes here for her eyelash extensions which looks good. Lina is great at what she does. I recently got some moles on my face removed. A few months later, now you can't even tell it was even there. Removing my moles was something I wanted to do for a while, and it's totally worth it. I highly recommend this service if you are tired at looking at moles on yourself like me. Lina is a busy chick, If you're coming here for the first time make sure you make an appointment. Lash extensions for my wedding.
Debbie L.

I have seen Lina for eyelash extensions for my wedding. She did a fantastic job! The full set took about 2 hours. The touch-up took about an hour and a half. They were absolutely worth it and loved them on my honeymoon as well. I also went to her for a facial and will continue to see her for my skincare needs.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to try lash extensions. My lashes were practically non-existent and I don't like wearing mascara. Just had them done and love it. Lina is meticulous and professional. I also like that she has a private, cozy salon that's so easy to get to. Already planning to go back for other services.

I came here for the first time and I appreciated how easy the eyelash extension process was. Lina was so sweet and did her best to make my eyelashes look full. I did the natural set, but I do wish I had done a more volume set as they looked a bit short. That being said, I still think she did a wonderful job and the prices were very fair. She also takes Venmo and other payment options which are very convenient

Always leave Pure Essentials feeling glamorous.

What product line do they use for Facials?

Price for mole removal?

It depends on the size. I had small cherry moles and they were $40 each. I also had a much bigger mole that was $175.

As she was getting started she asked if I liked medium or hard pressure - I said hard, and boy was it (in the best way); she did also check in a few times to make sure the pressure was okay - especially when she was working on a particularly gnarly spot. As she quickly discovered, my shoulders and neck were a mess - she managed to get all of the knots out and still have time to spare for everything else. Who knew my calves were so tight? Not me! I would 100% recommend Jenny. My only problem now is figuring out how many massages I can responsibly budget into my life.

Luckily, I had my husband drop me off, but if you need to park, I would definitely come a little earlier to give yourself some extra time! My massage therapist was Christine, who was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about her techniques. However, I indicated on my form that I preferred medium pressure and was surprised by how hard the pressure ended up being. I actually developed a giant purple bruise on the side of my glutes afterward, which was pretty unsettling especially since this was a prenatal massage. She was also very social and this was probably the first massage I've had where I chatted throughout almost the entire thing lol. Between the conversation and the much deeper pressure than I was expecting, I unfortunately didn't find the experience as relaxing as I had hoped. I think she could be a good fit for someone who enjoys very deep pressure and likes chatting during their massage, but it wasn't really the experience I was looking for.

I really wanted to love this place, but I'm gonna have to go home and finish it. My mistake was not looking before I left. Pros: It was clean inside and door open for good ventilation. Both techs were very gentle and I had no issues with them hurting/stabbing etc. Foot massage was wonderful. Downsides: This was the first mani I've had that used no soak, which left powdered nail filing debris under my nails and made the lotion feel like sand. Pedi was good considering I was overdue for one, but left obvious areas of dry skin that could've been better cleaned and looked more professional-see pics (immediately after). Overall average but they need to up their game. Service otherwise was great/friendly.

UPDATING MY REVIEW I…read morenow get my lashes down at T's on top of my biweekly pedi. I have never had lashes as good as these. I'm not even exaggerating, I'm heavily contemplating getting the exact set I've been getting done for my wedding. The perfect wispy set that isn't too full, and makes my eyes actually look narrow. I've had so many times where a lash artist had said it would be wispy and cat eye and then I get the thick fuzzy caterpillar lashes and they're open eye and make my already big eyes look scary af. So now I'm just getting pretty two different ways at T's my pedi and lashes on point. I keep recommending T's to everyone and they're so spooked by the location being in San Francisco. Their loss, that means I can always keep my appointment date and time

This one star review is for the unethical way Mandy overcharged me…read more The facial itself was fine. It's no frills, but exactly what one would expect for this price point at an independently owned small business. Mandy was competent, and her products are decent. I didn't love how she tried to sell me a bunch of skincare products I don't need, but I also know that it's how these spas make money. I paid for my facial with a multi-use Spa Finder gift card. For those of you unfamiliar with Spa Finder's multi-use cards, they act like pre-loaded debit cards that you can re-use until the balance of the card is empty. Mandy told me that she was only able to use the gift card funds towards the actual cost of the service, but I would need to tip her separately. That was no problem. The card had a preloaded amount of $125.00, and the facial cost $119.00. That would leave me with a remaining $6.00 balance on the card. I tipped Mandy $25.00 in cash. Since I was tipping her cash, I confirmed with her that she would only be charging my gift card $119 and there would be $6.00 left on the card. She confirmed. Imagine my surprise when I went to check my card balance only to find that she charged the card the full balance amount of $125. So, Mandy scammed me out of $6.00. In return, I will never go back to her spa, I will never refer friends to her, I will file a complaint with Spa Finder, and I've written this review. I'm not sure it'll make a difference for her either way, but I hope that makes those extra dollars she overcharged me worth it.
