This salon clearly violates Ohio health code:…read more I have filed complaint #CO2025-0004 They do not barbicide/disinfect the drill bits, brushes, or nippers for nail extension services. Vivian then proceeded to argue with me over text saying the brushes would be wet between clients which is absurd you should own enough brushes to sanitize between clients. The law is anything touching skin between clients needs full disinfection. Also she tried to state alcoholing nippers is sufficient when it is not and does not comply with code. She said well its not a full manicure. However it is still trimming and touching skin and high risk of microcuts and blood borne pathogens. Artificial nails are higher risk even than manicures given drill use. I refuse to take a risk of going to a dirty salon that does not operate per the law. Especially in such a high end area with top vip clientele I expected better service and treatment! I tried this salon once since my usual was booked. I would recommend never going here given high risk of infection and potential for disease, and complacency against the health code laws. Also she does not understand the severity when trying to bring to her attention and got defensive and argued over text with me. Guess she does not respect her customers either. Good luck keeping this business open now Vivian. It could have been an easy fix/adjustment and confirmation owner to client privately but you tried to defend your poor practices which clearly violate the law so now unfortunately I am having to report to protect others safety.

Wait... what? Yet, even if I misheard her the first time, I still did not receive my 15% off the new price of $45. I explain how I think I was overcharged. She then said that I was not overcharged because of the added tax. Wait... when did the tax get added? It wasn't there before during the first two price amounts. I don't understand how the longer I talked to her, the more expensive it became - and the more bizarre second add-ons occurred. I got taken advantage of. There was no reasoning with her so I just dropped it. To me it wasn't about the money, but the attitude.

While I was choosing a color I noticed that several bottles were basically empty so I picked a teal color that looked like it had some left. The technician opened it and explained there was barely anything left so she needed to add a thinner to try to get more use out of it. She did make a comment to another technician asking why there were so many empty bottles and the other girl told her the person in charge said to use all the bottles completed. She did a few drops of the thinner and she said nothing could be salvaged from the bottle so I had to pick a new color. I picked a basic beige OPI color. She said it looked like there was enough so we continued. The technician was great. She worked with what she had and I think she could tell I'm not a chit chatty person and she didn't press for conversation. About half through she explained she did need to add a thinner because there wasn't enough left to finish and that since she was adding the thinner she had to do an extra layer because it was coming out translucent. There are no actual nail dryers, only small fans to the layers never actually dried. She used a quick spray after the last layer and warned me that since my mani was over and my nails were still wet I needed to be careful. I was actually kinda surprised I was basically being told to go with wet nails, because there was no one waiting but it was basically pointless without anything to assist in drying the nails. The nails were a mess, horribly wet. I messed up one putting the strap of my purse over my shoulder and she offered to add another top coat, but I knew I didn't need another layer. I knew these were not going to dry as soon as I walked away. I've included time stamped photos of the progress. It's been over 6 hours and my nails still haven't dried. I just scraped my polish off in one full sheet using my other hand because they were still wet. I wanted badly to enjoy this experience and the outcome but I can not recommend this location if they do not care enough to make sure they are using the best products and that their employees have what they need to do a good job. They needed non empty polishes and actual nail dryers, not just desk fans. I don't have unlimited funds and I choose to save for this specific experience and how I feel I have threw that money straight into the trash, like the polish I just peeled off my nails.
