When a class is full, they put you on a waitlist and I've never not gotten promoted from the waitlist. They contact everyone who's signed up and ask them to cancel if they're not going to make it, so people on the waitlist can get in. Other than a couple-minute orientation the first time you attend, there is no individual attention in the Pilates classes. I went in with a decent fitness level and zero Pilates experience, but in hindsight it would've been good to look up some mat Pilates basics on Youtube before my first class. Everyone one staff is super nice. Attendees mostly keep to themselves. You probably won't make a new gym bestie. But for people who want no nonsense, it's great.

All the instructors are so great and professional and put their own twist on their classes. The prices are very affordable, the studio is very clean and just a no frills kind of place where you focus on basic equipment. This is amazing because it means it's very easy to replicate your own studio at home or when you travel. I have been feeling a lot stronger and my lower back pain is completely gone. I love the excercises and they are so inclusive, no matter your strength level. The real 6 stars for me is the flexibility to do classes remote or in person, live or pre recorded. This is a true game changer and is the sole reason I'm able to stay consistent with my 3x a week workout schedule. I will be a customer for a very long time!

The energy is always positive and uplifting, and the members and instructors make you feel like you're part of a real community. What really sets Pure Barre apart for me is the focus on micro movements. After dealing with quad activation failure, muscle atrophy after my knee surgery, I needed a safe and effective way to rebuild strength. I used to be all about HIIT workouts and honestly didn't think this style would be challenging enough. But I was SO wrong. The low-impact, high-intensity format has been a total game-changer. It's helped me activate and rebuild my quads in a way I didn't think was possible. Now, 1 year and 4 months later, I'm still coming 4-6 times a week because I'm completely hooked. I was initially told I'd have to sign up on my end, then when I advised the usual process I followed at other studios when signing up I was later told they don't take the program and it's at the owners discretion on whether or not they accept it. I was called back and forth a few times when finally "a manager" called and told me they don't accept it. If I was told this initially I might've been more understanding and might've believed it. This location is still listed on the one pass website. Due to the frustration, I just signed up through round rock. It's farther away but I didn't have any issues and ended up taking a class there the same night.

The instructor greeted me by name and asked if I had any injuries or needed any modifications, then walked me over to the equipment and explained that I needed two sets of free weights to add to the other set up equipment (a mat, a lower back mat, ball and resistance band). It was all women in the class, and I can't be sure but i get the feeling it's like 90%+ female most of the time. There's also a spin studio in the space. For barre devotees, I think it's a solid choice and very conveniently located. Also there's ample parking out front and in the parking garage just underneath. All in all, it was a good midday workout.

I am a old guy, broken down from a great life of being a musician,…read moremotorcycle wrecks, race car wrecks, skiing disasters, playing Army for many years and basically burned the candle at five ends. Add the tum tum, and you would think this is the last place I would end up. The different orthopedic doctors and Physical Therapists all basically said go to something like this and see what makes you hurt :-( . I called and talked to the business and it turns out that they have many different types of classes, including rehab and recovery. They would make adjustments for me if needed. The business was spotless and organized to a T. Then came the class. The instructor, Jennifer, was quite charming as was the staff. The attendees were all ages, shapes, sizes, and I was not the only man there. Jennifer said she could adjust the instruction if needed due to all my damage and I said no way, go full blast and if I had problems I would adjust myself. So, full of confidence, I started immediately with the class which was a "grace", or something like that, for newbies. Jennifer was enthusiastic, and kept the tempo going. I had some problems at first following the instructions as I was new to this, but with the mirrors and her assistants, I started getting the idea. Yeah! I heard "shake it off and rest" but I could never see where "rest" was in the picture. I realized that if I totally stopped I would never be able to start up again, so I did the best I could. Then I learned to hate the words "bar and barre". When you are told to grab or lean on the bar, you are really going to get it. All in all, it was wonderful. Jennifer or one of her assistants would come and help with advice, and there was only 2 moves I could not do. When we were finally finished, my muscles were shaking so bad from lack of use in the past few years, I asked my wife to drive home, much to her glee. Fast forward 1 day and I am worn out and sore, but in a good way. I am definitely more flexible, I don't have pain where I used to have pain, so this event probably saved me a lot of money to doctors and therapists as I know now where to target and to what extent I can handle and still live.
