Not recommended. EDIT: Responding to the owner below, Groupon was purchased over 2 months ago and I waited for reformer classes schedule for over a month and not one available. I think this was reasonable wait period. As for the relocation out of this area (something out of my hand), I was offered 1 reformer private session (in place of 5 group sessions) as substitute, but wasn't made aware of $45 additional fees on top of groupon I had already purchased (I should have asked). Overall, not a pleasant experience.

The owners have gone through instructors like a 90 minute class goes through wipes. They have come to the point where they are shipping in coaches from DC and MD. Where do I begin? You walk in and the front desk is too busy talking about what's in their milkshake to greet you. Then you're waiting around a cluttered lobby with two piles of lost and found. The decorations from Christmas are still up. They have 39 spots for the class but only 4 coat hooks. The water fountain spits out warm water which tastes like it was run through the gym shorts of the previous class. Suggestion, it might be time to clean out those pipes! The class itself is a popularity contest. The regulars (people who suck up to the coaches and assume they can bully other class members) like to talk at a decibel higher than the music to update each other on which pre school is the best, which Range Rover car salesman has the hots for them and which "Starbies" they are going to after class. The workouts have gotten more repetitive and the music sucks. Please avoid and wait till the next fad gym comes through.

The manager, Weber, is really engaged with the members. He knows everyone's name and ensures that they are getting the experience they want. The coaches I've worked with so far are very experienced, fun, and help each member individually. Lorenzo is fantastic. It is clear he cares about each of his students and knows how to help them whatever level they are at. If you are looking for a boxing/kickboxing/Jujitsu gym with a great community, try UFC!

I signed up just about an hour before class, and when we arrived, they had a welcome board with our names written on it -- such a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel at home. The staff and coaches were all super friendly and helpful, and the energy in the studio was great. I also couldn't help but notice that the amenities here looked even nicer than at my home location, which was a pleasant surprise. The workout itself was exactly what I expect from Orangetheory -- challenging but fun -- and the overall experience was so positive that I'd absolutely love to take another class here in the future.

I have been a member of several Crunch, Gold, and yoga gyms...as I love group classes. I need the…read moremotivation to keep me going, even if I don't want to work out....so, I love the 60 minute Orange Theory classes. One of my BFFs raved about this workout, but I was a bit intimidated by this so it took me a while to be brave enough to try it out....now I am a huge fan. It was a bit challenging as first, as I am not really used to working out this hard...but as the weeks go by, it is easier.. You start on either the treadmill or bike and then switch to floor/rowers. Each class is different so you never get bored. Each trainer has their own unique music selection and personality so you can try out different classes. Atmosphere - This gym is clean and simple. There is a muted orange lighting in a dark room with loud music, so you aren't really focused on other people, just on yourself. You can buy a $120 proprietary "Orange theory Burn band" that syncs to the Orange Theory app and the live screens during the class so you can track your heart rate through 5 different stages. (My high blood pressure meds won't let my heart rate get too high but I can definitely tell I am working - sweating and slightly out of breath!) There are two small showers that you can use afterwards and plenty of lockers to store your items during class. I love that the entire gym is "electronic free." For one hour, you can detox from your cell phone and have someone tell you exactly what to do! Service - The instructors are fabulous - especially Kit, Taylor, Kevin and Sylvia. Last week Kit dressed up as a pirate for the 7am Monday class and it was probably the best. workout. class. ever. She played a pirates of the caribbean theme music and it was awesome. Value- For $179 you can do unlimited classes, for $119 you can get 8 a month...so overall it's not a bad deal compared to other gyms in the area. For the value, it's worth it.....I know that I am getting in better shape and having fun while doing it! Pro tip: Bring a small towel and a water bottle to class. I also have cheap grippy weightlifting gloves to help me hold onto the weights and the rower handles when I get sweaty..

SCHEDULING The RTR app is user-friendly and easy to navigate, allowing you to track both completed and upcoming classes. You can book classes weeks in advance at any RTR location, not just Vienna. Currently, early morning classes at 6:15 a.m. are only offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As an early riser, I'm excited to see more early morning options as the studio expands! CANCELLATION There's no penalty for canceling a class 12 hours in advance. Afterward, I was curious about the tanning beds,where they were located, how they worked, whether I needed to bring goggles, and what the process was for first-time use. By then, there were two employees at the front desk. They appeared busy, so I waited off to the side until they were available. When I approached the desk, I explained that it was my first visit and asked how the tanning beds worked. One employee, while eating, simply told me to check in. I explained that I had already checked in, finished my workout, and was just looking for information about the tanning beds. As a first-time visitor, I thought I might receive a tour or at least a brief explanation of the amenities. A second employee, who was wearing sunglasses indoors around 8 PM, jumped in and directed me to another computer. He explained that I needed to scan my membership QR code and select tanning along with a time. It seemed they assumed I was trying to tan immediately. I clarified that I wasn't looking to use the tanning bed at that moment, I was simply asking where it was located and how the process worked. I was then told to come back when I was ready to tan. Unfortunately, my questions were never really answered. As a new member, I was hoping for a more welcoming experience and some basic guidance about the facility's amenities. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and wondering if I made a mistake signing up.

Some of the staff were not polite, respectful, or supportive--instead, they were often judgmental. During my time there, I ended up getting injured, which ultimately required surgery. After that, I decided to discontinue my membership. I reached out by email several times asking them to stop billing me and to credit the months I could not attend. Despite my repeated attempts, they never responded, never called me back, and continued charging me for five months while I wasn't attending. This lack of professionalism and care, both in how they treat members and in how they handle serious concerns, was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend anyone to join this gym.
