As an overweight person, I really thought I'd feel very uncomfortable amongst a group of fit, skinny, and if I'm being honest, less than welcoming, group of ladies. What I actually found was the exact opposite! While a lot of the ladies are fit (because they attend classes regularly), they are also very friendly and welcoming. The instructors are encouraging and want to make sure that you are getting the most for your money. It is different than any workout you've ever tried before in a good way. For that reason, they make sure that your form is the most appropriate to work the muscle group that should be targeted in any given exercise. You are not left to flounder like in most group classes! It is almost like having a personal trainer and group classes in one. The best of both worlds! And cheaper! I highly suggest it...especially because it is easy on the body while also being a total cardio/toning workout. read more

Best ladies' workout around! Intense, one hour, toning workout. As someone who likes the idea of working out more than actually working out, I tend to get bored of most exercise classes and gym workouts. Pure Barre changes the routine, "choreography," every class without losing the intensity. It keeps me on my toes (no pun intended) and keeps me coming back. They also play loud (usually not unpleasantly loud), fun music that corresponds to the intensity of the current activity, often making the exercise feel more like dancing. The ladies who run the studio are great! They are very friendly, not intimidating, and ready to help clients get the best out of their workout. If I had to list a con, it would be the price; it's rather steep. I believe it's worth it I you have the money. Estero also has great discounts! read more

Pure Barre Estero is absolutely incredible and has changed my life. I'm not an "exercise class" or even "workout" person, but a friend dragged me to the Pure Barre Estero studio and now I am absolutely hooked Everyone is so supportive and uplifting there and I don't think I could ever go back to my home-gym workouts! I am so much stronger and I feel and look better than I have since high school. After my first month I was convincing a friend to come with me and my husband told her boyfriend "I was skeptical of how well it could work or if it was worth the cost but I felt her butt the other day and it's completely worth it". Pure Barre offers a unique challenge to anyone looking to tone up with great instructors and energizing music. Pure Barre has been especially effective for me as I joined a year ago looking to tone up my belly after having twins 8 months prior. I am very pleased to say that Pure Barre has gotten my abs in check and in even better shape than before the twins. This is a great method for someone looking for targeted toning and a challenge as it isn't easy! I go three times a week and feel that at least three classes a week would be needed to see results (if not more--time is limited w twin toddlers!) Completely recommend! I love Pure Barre! I discovered it over 4 years ago and I've never looked back. It has become a part of my daily routine and I look for studios when I travel. Discovering pure barre has been the best thing I have done for myself. The work outs are challenging and I am a work out freak! Each day I'm challenged in a new way! Pure barre in Estero has the best teachers and classes. I have been to many places for workouts leaving with soreness or even injuries. These exercise classes at pure barre incorporate the perfect stretches along the way so I don't leave sore or injured. I have been coming for a year and a half.
