The studio itself is awesome! It is super clean and sleek, giving off a radiant vibe the moment you walk in. There are cubicles available in the back of the studio where customers can store their belongings during class. Don't have barre socks? RISE has you covered. They offer a handful of different colors for you to choose from and they are fairly inexpensive as well. Not to mention, they have an entire wall of adorable merchandise that can be purchased by the customers. Being my first barre class ever, I was SUPER nervous and had no idea what to expect. My anxiety was instantly relieved by the friendly staff and the welcoming customers taking the class. I was shocked at how kind these people were. Honestly, some of the nicest people I have ever met while taking a fitness class. The instructor who taught the previous class walked my friend and I through what equipment we needed and explained what barre was all about which was great since both of us had no idea what we were doing. Our instructor was wonderful as well, extremely motivating throughout the entire class, and corrected any movement that I was doing wrong which was super helpful. They play great music too which helps push you through the pain you may be experiencing as you go about the workout. I definitely left the studio feeling like I got a great workout in. I am so happy that I found this studio and will definitely be back very soon for more classes!

Not to mention, it's great for all fitness levels. The instructors suggest modifications throughout class to meet the needs of all clients. The classes never get easier but you get stronger (and become addicted so you have to come back all the time). Another aspect that sets PBCH aside are their virtual classes. Several live classes are offered throughout the day. If a client misses a class, they have access to hundreds of prerecorded classes. Times are crazy right now but PBCH is an excellent way to distract yourself for 50 minutes while you lift, tone and burn!

When I called with questions, Liz, the owner was incredibly helpful, after speaking with her for just a few minutes I could tell I would really like this studio. I was so pumped that I found this studio I signed up for a class immediately and had a really great workout with Corinne. Barre workouts are one of the most effective/quickest ways to tone and gain strength, I have tried several styles, and have always gone back to the Pure Barre "method." If you are looking for a studio in the Mt Airy, Chestnut Hill, Jenkintown, etc. location, this is the barre studio for you. Really looking forward to my next class!

I joined Barre3 Doylestown as a member at the end of January and have not only found the workout that I needed, but have also unexpectedly found a community. Angie (the owner) has truly put together something special and it has been the one workout that I am truly EXCITED to get to and look forward to every single class. Every single instructor I have had the pleasure of having so far has been fabulous, but I have to give a shout out to Logan in particular as her class was the one that had me sold on joining. Her breath work portion of her classes is somehow everything I need to hear for the day and her workouts are always fun and exciting. If you haven't given Barre3 a try yet, this is your sign! I had never tried the Spin shoes before and they have them available for free to use to clients. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and showed me how to use them since it was my first time. First class was free which was also nice. And they have childcare. Couldn't ask for more! I wish this gym was closer to me as I only have Crunch HV near me and they only have a couple RIDE classes a week whereas this one has 3 a day (they also have Barre and TRX). They had ~25 bikes in the class. I liked that they had it dark, especially during intense moments. It does have black lights so if you wear white or neon, you will glow. Pricing: $18/class; 3 classes $16/class; 5 classes $15/class; 10 classes $14/class; $115 monthly unlimited or $99 if do recurring. Happy I found this spot and can't wait to try more instructors!

Btw - Check online for specials. I was able to get a 10pack (10 classes) for an end of Summer deal - $100. It's Definitely worth it. Full price admission isn't for me since I belong to another gym and really don't have the time. I would join if I could though. Check this place out.

Totally worth it, do yourself a favor and buy a Pilates Reformer package and just try it! Before I tried this studio: I only recently tried Pilates on the reformer while recovering from foot surgery (so I have some special needs as I rebuild muscle and get stronger). I had gone to 4 sessions at 2 other studios before this (in LA and Austin). I was liking how I could immediately start to feel the workouts tone my body, but was on the fence about how mentally engaging and motivating the sessions were (practically the same exact routine all four times), and its too expensive to be on the fence. Then I went to Faye's Art & Soul Yoga. Her classes are always a surprise because she has a slue of exercises and really mixes it up for a great full body work out - the hour flies by. I've only gone a few weeks but I haven't been to the same class twice. She plays motivating music which I found to be joyfully unique. She promotes yoga stretches in between so even though you SWEAR you'll be sore after the workout, you really aren't. And she is super sweet to boot. I wish she could move with me out to Seattle because I don't know how I'm going to find a studio I like as much as Art & Soul Yoga :(

All of the staff were very friendly. As a first timer, I wasn't really sure what to expect because I didn't look anything up ahead of time and I am pretty athletic and work out about 5 times a week, weightlifting doing yoga, Pilates, and cycling on a road/mountain bike so I figured whatever it was, I would be fine. The class was actually challenging for me and engaged muscles that Other exercises I am doing have not engaged. It's core and cardio and weights sometimes all at once. The studio is 52 minutes from my home so I probably only see myself coming there once or twice a month but I appreciate that there are class packages. I was brought today by someone who is a member so she showed me around, but if I were coming alone, a staff member would've shown me the ropes and gave me an idea of what to expect. As someone who has worked at a yoga studio before and is aware of first time jitters for anyone walking into a new space, it was nice to know they offer that. was lucky to have someone show me the ropes. Their level of communication before I even showed up was more than I needed, but absolutely welcoming and helpful. They checked in to see when I wanted to schedule (after receiving my name for a free class from my friend), they asked if I had questions, told me what to wear, when to arrive to fill out first timer paperwork and let me know what I needed to bring and what they provided for the class. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and I will return despite the distance. They also have cute workout clothes in the lobby to purchase and a discount rack for those on a budget.
