The class utilizes the Pilates Reformer machines which was very interesting to use as a first timer but I truly enjoyed it. I have only done mat pilates before at global gyms and lemme tell ya... not the same. At. All. Karen was the instructor and she was very attentive. Looking forward to my next class.

Totally worth it, do yourself a favor and buy a Pilates Reformer package and just try it! Before I tried this studio: I only recently tried Pilates on the reformer while recovering from foot surgery (so I have some special needs as I rebuild muscle and get stronger). I had gone to 4 sessions at 2 other studios before this (in LA and Austin). I was liking how I could immediately start to feel the workouts tone my body, but was on the fence about how mentally engaging and motivating the sessions were (practically the same exact routine all four times), and its too expensive to be on the fence. Then I went to Faye's Art & Soul Yoga. Her classes are always a surprise because she has a slue of exercises and really mixes it up for a great full body work out - the hour flies by. I've only gone a few weeks but I haven't been to the same class twice. She plays motivating music which I found to be joyfully unique. She promotes yoga stretches in between so even though you SWEAR you'll be sore after the workout, you really aren't. And she is super sweet to boot. I wish she could move with me out to Seattle because I don't know how I'm going to find a studio I like as much as Art & Soul Yoga :(

Stacey's positivity is infectious and I look forward to her class every week. It's challenging (in a good way!) and gets the heart racing. I have more energy and feel rejuvenated after. Stacey has a wide range of options for me...cardio, strength, pilates, yoga, stretch, frankly if I name it, she either has it or creates it - and I'm amazed at Stacey's mastery of it all. I also think what makes Stacey different from other online or in person experiences for me is her excitement about conquering the session together. Stacey is super flexible and takes personal responsibility to help me succeed. I've had to make adjustments to our scheduled time given all the surprises popping up on my calendar, and she has worked with me to find the time, removing obstacles or excuses to skip working out. Definitely keeps me coming back for more. If you're trying to get exercise - movement - or peace of mind that you're taking care of yourself to fit in your life, I highly recommend making Stacey your partner.

I also enjoyed how they don't try to sell packages and slide them down your throat. I usually avoid places like that or any salesy personnel. Really enjoyed how it's super laid back and chill and do it at your own pace. I've been lifting weights since 2018 and never thought that i could feel such stretches in my muscles during Pilates. I can say that I have grown love for Pilates. !

I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it, every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!

There's a class for you here, no matter where you are in your practice. This is safe space for people of all shapes, sizes, ages and walks of life. It's a very welcoming environment. I've met two instructors so far and both were kind and warm, and cared for their craft. There's a drop in rate of $17-$20 per session. You may want to try a $25/2 week unlimited class pass if you're new to the studio and want to see where exactly you groove. The entire studio is quite lovely. There's a nice changing/open locker room and great items for sale. From hand-painted mats, awesome jewelry, to water bottles, and my favorite, the clothes! Awesome patterned yoga pants for children and adults, and a brand of yoga clothes I love and have never seen sold in person but they have it here. The company is known for their fun yogi inspired sayings on cute shirts! Prices were fair. The actual studio is absolutely stunning! The nicest I've ever been in!! Personally I'm usually more of a darker lit studio space kind of gal, but the bright daylight shining through the curtains with exposed brick walls and an unbelievable vintage ceiling was honestly perfection first thing in the morning. So clean and refreshing. Gorgeous! Heavenly! This space changed my views on how I thought I preferred doing yoga. They are also currently expanding next door! There's a few parking spaces reserved behind the studio but they fill up early. There's quarter meter spaces so bring change or park in the municipal lot which takes cards. I would absolutely recommend trying a class here! It's a very relaxed, no pressure atmosphere.

All of the staff were very friendly. As a first timer, I wasn't really sure what to expect because I didn't look anything up ahead of time and I am pretty athletic and work out about 5 times a week, weightlifting doing yoga, Pilates, and cycling on a road/mountain bike so I figured whatever it was, I would be fine. The class was actually challenging for me and engaged muscles that Other exercises I am doing have not engaged. It's core and cardio and weights sometimes all at once. The studio is 52 minutes from my home so I probably only see myself coming there once or twice a month but I appreciate that there are class packages. I was brought today by someone who is a member so she showed me around, but if I were coming alone, a staff member would've shown me the ropes and gave me an idea of what to expect. As someone who has worked at a yoga studio before and is aware of first time jitters for anyone walking into a new space, it was nice to know they offer that. was lucky to have someone show me the ropes. Their level of communication before I even showed up was more than I needed, but absolutely welcoming and helpful. They checked in to see when I wanted to schedule (after receiving my name for a free class from my friend), they asked if I had questions, told me what to wear, when to arrive to fill out first timer paperwork and let me know what I needed to bring and what they provided for the class. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and I will return despite the distance. They also have cute workout clothes in the lobby to purchase and a discount rack for those on a budget.
