They just welcomed me and then walked away. I stood there awkwardly, trying to figure out where the locker rooms were. Anyway, its clean, there are a bunch of machines for cardio (why I switched to this gym), and you get free classes with the Lime card. I'll still frequent here cause its convenient, but I prefer the Cranes Roost location.

I wasn't convinced with the first class, I felt really pressured by the staff to get a membership. They started to make me feel uncomfortable by calling me multiple times everyday and being so pushy about me joining. I tried out other gyms and noticed what they offer is actually really good! The plan I got is 8 classes a month for 89.99. To me, it was good compared to other gyms in the area that were 250 every two weeks ..... it's easy for me to book classes on their app, I have my closest gyms favored and when I try to look for classes it shows the ones closest to me! For example, if I want a workout tomorrow morning all I do is open my app and it shows the trainer, the time, and the location. You cannot cancel within 8 hours without being charged a fee. I thought this would be an issue but I normally decide to go last minute since I have a one year old who makes having a certain schedule almost impossible. The classes are great, they are challenging but doable even if you've never been to a gym. The trainers are there to help with anything you need. I am super shy to ask for help but some of the trainers watch to make sure you're doing the workouts correctly (not all of them do this) I feel stronger and I feel that I look better, but definitely not where I want to be. Orange theory is definitely a good place to start and get a routine. But I will rather join a gym and have this membership as well, once I have more time to focus on fitness.

You can never count that it will properly book or cancel the class and it will always try to charge you for more classes even when you have a membership or over 10 classes left in your package. I've contacted the local OTF office and the OTF app developers about these issues but they haven't been resolved. This does not appear to be a local Altamonte Springs OTF issue, this is a nationwide OTF issue that needs to be resolved. The Altamonte Springs instructors are incredible and very knowledgeable. I always get an awesome workout and feel great afterwords and look forward to the classes. Facilities are very clean. The booking app and website just make booking any classes a major headache and I'm on the verge of cancelling my membership because of the constant struggle and lack of help in this department.

I communicated with someone on IG and they were very, very nice. Location: Super clean, very nice lobby area. 2 restrooms to use/change. Happy smiling staff! The row room (I'm sure it has a real name) is dark in a cool way. The ergs are set up in nice rows but you still have some of your own space and they have fun lighting to use during the class. Coach: Danny was in charge of my first 2 visits and he was VERY helpful and patient with me. That second round was rough for me but he was super supportive and makes a point to speak to everyone - and knows people's names! It feels like a really supportive group where people are invested in each other. I've also had Tina who keeps you moving - shorter class, gotta go hard - and she was very motivational for an early Sunday morning! Class: The Signature is only - ha! "only" - about 45 minutes. Once you get the hang of how to work the machine, you can get into a good rhythm. I'm still working on my posture, but I feel stronger when I'm there. You get off the machine twice and that makes me feel dizzy but I'll get there. The whole class is motivated and cheering each other on! The atmosphere is great. I've also done the Express and there were only 4 of us total so it was not as loud but definitely just as much of a workout, I may have sweated more!! Overall: I really enjoy this workout. It's not HARD on any specific part of your body but you are definitely working and getting stronger. I'm signed up for a few more and excited to go - which I have never said about another workout in my life before...ever.

I joined during the pre-opening sale and got a killer deal on my membership. The gym is brand-spanking new. It's been open less than a month. 25 ergs (I learned a new word...) all digitized so after each class you get an email with your stats. You sign up through an app, pick your erg, and attend a bomb class. There are classes all day, from 5:30 AM - 8:30 PM. There are 6 different types of classes - all include rowing but some include hand weights, some body weight exercises, stretching, and/or HIIT style. There are even classes designed specifically to help with your form/technique and another for endurance. No mater your style, you'll find something you like. Also: - Sheri, the owner, is SUPER nice. She owns both locations. She opened Row House because there was nothing like it, purely dedicated to rowing, in the area. She couldn't find what she was looking for so she built it her damn self. How bad ass is that!? She takes the classes along with this and really cares about her members. - The staff are all fantastic! The lovely ladies at the front desk and coaches are all there to pump you up, keep you motivated, and are super friendly. - I've tried had all but 1 coach so far and each one is great in their own way. Nicole and Jade were there when I signed up and I love them both. Their classes are super high energy and they get you riled up! Releen, Ty, Kelly, and CC are all fantastic! Their classes are challenging and they love calling people out and giving them kudos in class. Seriously, you cannot go wrong regardless who's class you sign up for. And, bonus, these are all people who I'd totally hang with outside of the gym - they are all just that nice! I love their energy, it's infectious. I highly recommend you check them out! I'm totally a fan and hooked! I'm gonna be chizzled in no time! (Prob not, because food, but one can hope!)

Due to a lot of memberships being cancelled they won't allow you to cancel at the studios anymore and will only allow you to go through a retention caller service. Everyone at the studio told me "good luck" because a lot of people have been struggling to cancel their membership because of this system. No one knew who worked the system or where the phone number went (concerning right?). They told me they open at 10, so I called and it began with the typical "experiencing high traffic." I was on hold for over an hour (see photo). After being on hold for an hour the automatic voice came back on to ask if I wanted to continue with the automatic system, of course I said yes as was tired of being on the phone. They took all my information and asked me to select why I was calling out of three opinions, the second I said cancellation it hung up on me. I stopped being unlimited at this studio once I realized they only cared about nepotism. They have fired all the good instructors due to their own egos. Unless you want to be locked into a lifetime membership with a studio that will go under within the next two years go elsewhere. This is peoples livelihood, taking money out of accounts of people who are simply trying to cancel their membership. Shame of this company.

The instructor did a great job describing how to do each move modifying it for beginners, but I know of other Pilates companies that offer different experience levels and that would have made it more comfortable for my first time.

The app we used to book it didn't give us a notification, nor did we get an email. When we walked in the manager said an email should have gone out -- none of us got it. She gave us her card to email her if we can tell her how we can make it right. That's awkward. I'm not the type of customer who ever demands anything. As the manager for a boutique studio--she should have some understanding of customer service. While the manager is nice and may not have a full grasp of her booking management system, this is just general customer service. Customer service 101: Provide the customer with a few options that are within your means and then ask if any of these seem appropriate for them or if they have any other ideas. I booked online through…read moretheir website for a same-day appointment and then a member of their team called me to get a bit more info about my goals and provided me with additional info to prepare me for my first stretch session. I have not worked out or done much physical activity since I had a baby, so one of my goals is to increase my mobility and flexibility before just jumping back into exercise. She let me know that non-slip grippy socks are required which was good to know. They do have them available for purchase in store if you forget or need to get some. Upon arrival, I was kindly greeted and instructed to remove my shoes and get ready with my socks on. My flexologist was Mackenzie and she was wonderful. She walked me back to the stretch bench and began to explain the process and everything she was going to be doing. First, they have you take a quick Physmodo scan which involves doing some squats on a screen and it assesses your mobility, posture, activation, and symmetry. This tells the flexologist the areas that they need to focus on, and they customize each stretch session specifically to your needs. My scans revealed that I was especially tight in my hamstrings, neck, and hips. Then you lay down on the table and they begin to gently stretch your full body. Wow, it felt amazing and I didn't want it to end! It should never be painful and Mackenzie checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable. It's almost like physical therapy. After my session, they provided me with more info on their memberships and pricing. While I really wanted to commit to a membership, I did have a bit of sticker shock. A single stretch session goes up to $115 each time or a membership is $299/month which includes 4 stretch sessions... basically one per week. I unfortunately just could not justify the cost, but I really did enjoy the experience. They have a $49 special for your first 50-minute intro session and it is 100% worth trying!
