I have been going to this location for years. It has gone through more managers than I can count. The biggest plus is that it is clean. Depending on the manager at the time it is friendly or maybe not. I'm new to Youfit and while I absolutely adore them, this location just isn't up to par. Its extremely small, the customer service is nonexistent, and it just feels like it's not a complete gym. When I came in to try out the facility, there was no tour, nothing. They just welcomed me and then walked away. I stood there awkwardly, trying to figure out where the locker rooms were. Anyway, its clean, there are a bunch of machines for cardio (why I switched to this gym), and you get free classes with the Lime card. I'll still frequent here cause its convenient, but I prefer the Cranes Roost location. read more

I really love that there isn't many people that come to this gym and I rarely ever have to wait for equipment. I do wish there was a pickleball court, like some of the other YouFit gyms. I've been going to this gym for only a few weeks now - but I have not been disappointed. I stopped in to sign up for a membership during one of their promotions - I met with Brandon, the location manager, he was extremely helpful and friendly. Sign up process was easy and price is very competitive. I usually stop in around 6pm on a weekday and it is busy - but not EXTREMELY busy. I am still able to get my workout in. There are plenty of cardio machines and weight machines. The Winter Park location is my home gym but I also decided to check out the University location. I was not disappointed! The Winter Park location is definitely my favorite though. Parking is always a breeze, staff is friendly, and vibes are great. I can't wait for their expansion. I tried to cancel my personal training because my mom is in the hospital and I don't have time. When I told my trainer he assured I would be taken care of multiple times with no more explanation. He never mentioned I need to give a 30 day notice or sign a paper. I may of signed something saying that at the beginning of the training but that was so long ago, do you remember what someone told you 8 months ago? I was charged for PT. I then broke my leg and requested a refund since I won't be able to go back for a long time but all the corporate end gave me was a pause and a 90 day extension to do my lessons when I come back , even though I most likely can't work out with a broken leg for 2 to 3 months. Clearly I feel this company is about money and not the human aspect. I almost gave it 2 stars because the staff at this location are friendly at least. But the way this was handled by corporate is fully 1 star. It's a shame no one explained to me when I was attempting to cancel about how the process fully works to do so, so I was charged while being mislead believing it would be handled. Id have more understanding if it was better informed. A bigger shame they know I won't be able to go in for months and all they are willing to do for me is pause my training and extend it. I very much so feel this company doesn't care about its members and is in it only for the money. $160 is a lot for someone with medical bills and who is already taking care of another family member in the hospital. This feels really heartless and tells me a lot about the "values" the people in charge at corporate have. Maybe find another gym to personal train at and hopefully they'll handle you better. Excellent fitness center/health club. I have been a member for five years and couldn't be more pleased with the facilities and staff. The center is ALWAYS clean, and the staff members are frequently making rounds to ensure it stays that way. I have only on rare occasions had to wait for a machine. The center has just gone through a renovation that very effectively rearranged the equipment and has opened up the workout areas without any detriment to machine access or usage. Additionally, you can't beat the price. Over the last two decades I have been a member of Bally's, L.A. Fitness and 24-hour Fitness. My typical workout was 2.5 - 3 hours 4 - 5 days a week (treadmill, machines, free weights). I have been able to accomplish my same goals at YouFit as I did at all the other centers... at a fraction of the price. Check out your local YouFit center. You won't be disappointed. read more

Staff is courteous, and place is usually clean, however it is absolutely way too small for the amount of people that visit during peak hours, especially the weights area . It can get awkward attempting to move around others who are trying to lift. The price is ok, but this club itself is missing major points that stick out from the Altamonte: sauna and tanning. If you go with considerate expectations it should be good, just avoid peak times and sign up for their emails before joining and you can probably score some good deals. read more

I've tried LA Fitness, Planet Fitness, YMCA and a few cross-fit gyms; all of these gyms have their unique perks and niches, but the value and equipment I needed by getting their Lime Membership far outweighs those extras. **Locations are personally very convenient for me in Orlando. Outside, you'll generally find 1-2 locations in major cities. While the location on University Blvd. has yet to add fitness classes on the premise, they plan to do so in the near future by expanding to the spaces next door! ** Friendly Staff - You can't beat a warm welcome from friendly people who are knowledgeable with different workouts and routines. **CLEAN FACILITIES. They always have paper towels and spray to wipe equipment down. Bathrooms and lockers are kept in great condition. ** They weekly classes on weekdays between 6:30-7:30pm, therefore the stretch floor gets packed, cardio machines, and free weight section also get packed as well. But there's plenty of opportunities to discover new machines for a good workout. ** PRO TIP: If you don't mind a little spam email, they have a promotion every winter season where you pay for ONE YEAR upfront for the regular or Lime memberships. If you were to pay monthly (without promos) you would pay $10 or $21.99 respectively. I paid $190 for the Lime Card, so about a $100 savings!! Completely unprofessional. I moved across the United States to fight for the covid crisis. I sent multiple emails explaining I needed to cancel my membership and was called last minute to move. Called multiple times where I kept getting the run around and saying I needed to come in person to cancel. Unfortunately that couldn't happen due to the pandemic and me living 3k miles away. So I explained it to my bank and was does youfit do. They try to send an attorney after me? Wow really? I moved into the neighborhood about a year ago, and after looking at how fat that I was slowly getting from not working out since I moved, I joined this gym. This gym is really basic. It's not as equipped as 24 hr fitness or LA Fitness, but at the same time this gym is only $10 a month. So I wasn't expecting it to be on the same level as 24hr or La fitness. The staff is super helpful and super nice. They take the time to get to know you by name which I thought was cool. It has a lot of equipment and a large amount of cardio options. The place is never really crowded. There is always plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, or weights for everyone to use. The opening hours work for pretty much everyone's schedule. So if you're looking for classes, basketball court, and/or a huge expensive gym, this isn't the place to go. But if you're looking for a basic gym, with ample equipment, energetic staff, and reasonable priced, this is the place to go. What sets this YouFit apart from other Orlando locations?? The staff. It's a smaller location but regardless if it's a team member or a YouFit coach, anyone is willing to help you. I became a member of this location 1.5 years ago and I loved how Brenda, fitness director always remembered my name and even if she knew I wasn't going to a purchase a you coach package, she always informed me of special going on. Everyone is always smiling and a pleasure as you walk through the door so they can scan your tag. No matter how busy it gets, which seems to be after 4pm you are still able to hop on a cardio machine or strength machine. They recently just added 2 step machines and 2 rowing machines as well. Location stays clean and you always see someone cleaning, that's another good thing about "YouFit" they are known for their cleanliness. Prices for the LimeCard is 19.99+tax and it basically gets you into any location, free WiFi, half price drinks, classes and you can bring a guest for free. Standard is just $10 and it's just the basic that gets you in one location. As a new member they have good training session prices and even as a member they have good ones too, here and there they'll have some good promotions too. Out of all the gyms I've been attending through out my life, I have to say no matter the YouFit location you go too you'll be satisfied but this location the staff are AMAZING! No contract and they don't charge you an arm and leg to cancel your membership because they understand life happens. read more

This review in no way reflects this location, as I always loved the staff and the facility was always clean, just the company as a whole. I am very dissatisfied with my membership due to the companies $50 monthly charges starting in April when they closed. A document was posted to my account on April 1st stating that I would be charged $50 a month but I never was notified of this or agreed to sign it, yet they still charged me. So far they've taken $150 for an contract I never even signed. Just doesn't sit right with me. Now it's back and forth trying to cancel my membership. Shady stuff. read more

I have now been to three Youfit locations in Orlando: This location, the one on Colonial and the one on Orange. This location is the smallest of the three, is open the fewest number of hours and lacks classes. It is, however, clean, has a nice locker room, and has plenty of equipment for the number of members in attendance. While this location is the closest to my house, I'm usually willing to make the drive to Orange to have access to additional machines such as rowing. As the other locations, people of all ages and fitness levels come here. There's something for everyone. read more

I am 73 with a disease that hampers my immune system and was very apprehensive about returning to the gym. The personal trainer I had five months ago is no longer there. Fortunately, I hit the jackpot with my new trainer. Sean not only knows has superb training skills and is a senior at UCF in Health Sciences, but he is also compulsive about sanitizing just about anything. 4 stars for my local gym. I come here about 4x a week with the exception being during quarantine. I took my time getting comfortable with the idea of being back in the gym but they have eased my fears. All the staff wear masks and they are constantly cleaning the equipment. Gym goers are required to wear masks when walking around the gym, to and from equipment. They are also required to wipe down equipment after using it with ample towel and sanitizer stations. I have seen complete compliance with this thankfully. The gym is also never very busy which makes it easy to keep a 6ft distance when working out. There are plenty of benches and free weights, two smith machines and two squat racks. I almost never find myself waiting for something. There are so many treadmills and they closed off every other one so you can social distance there as well. The one thing that is disappointing is that they took away the mats. If customers are trusted to wipe down machines, why wouldn't we wipe those down as well? Now we are forced to perform crunches and such on the floor, which I would argue is less sanitary. Other than that I enjoy working out here. read more

YouFit is a great facility - for the most part. It is certainly no-frills. Cardio machines. Weight machines. Free weights. Stretching. Circuit Training. It's kept very clean. Plenty of bottles of cleaner and paper towels. The coaches are all very nice. Everything together is very nice (besides maybe the machines being so close together!) The prices are pretty reasonable as well - $10 a month for a single membership, $20 for the flex option of going to any YouFit as well as bringing a guest. (I went with the $20.) However, when it comes to getting out of your membership - BE CAREFUL. I went to the front desk one day after a work out and asked how I would go about ending my membership because I moved into a complex with its own gym. The girl told me I needed to cancel it 10 days before my next bill was due... fine. I cancel it within that 10-day window, get hit with a cancellation fee, as well as having to pay the following month because the cancellation isn't immediate - it's for the whole next month. Very ridiculous and will not be re-enrolling in the future because of this. read more

When this gym opened up right across from my neighborhood this spring, I joined right away- the $9 per month deal was WAY better than the $40+ I was paying at LA Fitness, and it's much more convenient for me. I was SO hopeful that it would be a safe, serviceable place for me to get in my daily workouts. From the beginning, I have been very impressed. This is definitely the cleanest gym I've ever been to. The employees are constantly walking the floors and wiping down the equipment, and the weight and cardio machines are always well maintained- in fact, they seem like they're still brand new. The whole process of exercising here is so simple and streamlined, Youfit really has it down to a science. They check people in promptly with keytags, and the machines are arranged in a logical manner so it's easy to get a full weight workout in without wasting time. I use the elliptical every day, and I like how I can charge my iphone on it while I work out, and watch individual TV's while exercising. Youfit is never too crowded, and I've visited at many different times of day. I always feel safe there, and the employees are helpful without being pushy. It's nothing fancy, but it does the trick. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the Winter Park/Goldenrod area. read more

I have been a member of YouFit for about two years now. I was attracted to YouFit because of their low monthly prices. I had been a member of the YMCA and was looking for a cheaper alternative when my rates increased. YouFit is your typical gym. They have a fair amount of equipment. If you love cardio, you've met your match. They have an extensive amount of cardio equipment. However, I personally prefer to lift weights and find that they have a nice selection of weights but a very small area in which to lift. A lot of the free weight section is cluttered and the placement of some weights and equipment is awkward, reducing actual space for training. The staff are always very friendly. They greet you and wish you well with each visit. It makes for a nicer workout experience. read more

I haaaaaaate the gym. I mean, I hate it. But I go because I value a healthy body. Now, I have been around the block when it comes to gyms in the Orlando area, I have been a member at LA Fitness, Planet Fitness, YouFit, YMCA.... And even some local dance studios. I keep thinking I will enjoy working out more if I just change gyms and go somewhere else. Frankly, I have not had a noticeably better experience at one gym vs another. I use cardio machines and free weights which are available at every gym I have ever been to. YouFit reminds me a lot of Planet Fitness. These gyms are perhaps less expansive but less expensive as well. LA Fitness and YMCA are more pricey but I can't say that they are much better, other than having basketball/raquetball courts. I like this gym because the employees are so friendly. They always make sure to say hello when you walk in and goodbye when you leave. They offered me some personal training sessions, which I declined. They were not pushy or rude about it at all. This gym is pretty clean too. Another great thing: You can actually track your check-ins at this gym online. It is SO motivating to see all of your check-ins for the month... or to see how much you have been skipping the gym. :/ The only negative thing about this gym is how crowded it gets in the evening. I have never had to wait for cardio machines, but the weight side gets packed pretty quick and it can get hot in there. I am a current member at this gym and I like it for the most part. The staff is pretty friendly and if you are just looking to get some workout daily, then I think this is a good gym for everyone. To compare with my previous gym LA Fitness, this gym is definitely not as big but I think has all the basic things that everyone uses frequently. You just can't beat the price! Also, it is very close to my home so it works out for me. I ended up taking some personal training sessions as well and I am very happy with my trainer Frank. The only negative experiences I had so far with them is with the billing. I have been trying to reach the manager about billing issues and still have not gotten a single phone call back. But this is probably just in my case. Also, I wish they would replace the exercise mats. They are torn and seem pretty dirty. Otherwise, their equipments are in a great shape. They seem pretty new and I constantly see the staff cleaning, lubricating, and dusting the equiptments. Overall, this is a nice gym with friendly staff, new equipments, and great value! The staff has always been friendly and the gym is always clean. I go at off times, so it's never crowded when I go, but I can't say what it's like a prime time. I was a bit skeptical when joining this gym at first(having formerly had memberships ad both planet fitness and LA Fitness) but I love it! The price is $10 a month and they have a lot of nice equipment and space so you do not feel too close to the person next to when working out. I have also been during peak gym hours (right after work around 5-6 pm) and it is never overly packed, which is an issue I had with LA Fitness. I broke my leg in 3 places and after paying 2 annual fees (100.00) and monthly fees (21.00) on time every month for 477 days, they STILL required me to burden a friend or family member to deliver a 10$ cancellation fee! I have visited most of the clubs in the Orlando area, and I am very impressed by how this one stands out. I have been a guest of clubs in this price range before ($10-$20 per month), and had a certain expectation of what I'd be walking into. I was very surprised to see how much more Youfit brings to the table. My first impression was of how clean the facility is. From the moment I walked in the door, I immediately noticed that the place was spotless. It's not a brand new club, but it looks as though it opened last week. My next impression was about about the welcoming staff and energizing atmosphere. I was given a very warm and friendly greeting, and I could feel that the staff member was engaged and happy to meet me. This was very much in contrast to the mediocre customer service we receive in most big box clubs. So, price point is the best I've seen, for what you get. The hours are more than good enough for 95% of gym users. The equipment is more than plentiful enough for the average traffic, and even though I'm more of an advanced user, the variety was more than enough for my workouts. They consider themselves a 'general fitness' facility, but the club is certainly equipped for the advanced fitness enthusiast. Of course, you won't find the pool or basketball court, but in all my years of working out, I've never used any of those extra features. Everything I need is here, and the price point suggests I'm only paying for what I use every time I work out. The staff is trained heavy in customer service, and not in aggressive sales. This also sets them apart from their competition. The trainers are very friendly and knowledgable, not to mention available if you have any questions. I have not hired one, but I reviewed their pricing, and it's about 30% more affordable than most PT pricing. Overall, I am very impressed. I observe first time gym users getting started, and Youfit makes it very comfortable for them. Much more so than you'd see at the average meat market club around town. Don't bother going here. They only have 2 benches and 1 squat rack. Its crazy crowded even at what should be low traffic times. Waiting for the squat rack for 40 minutes is not what I signed up for. Also, there's too many trainers working at once for a small gym. I can't move two steps without bumping into a trainer who will hog equipment that I want to be using. read more
