Recently I had something ,other than my usual every six month cleaning year after year, occur and I needed it handled as soon as possible. I called my usual Amherst office and explained the situation to the office staff who were very nice and had me speak to Dr Laura Littman. Dr Littman was absolutely wonderful. She understood my concern and wanted to get me in the correct situation as soon as possible. She was so very helpful in getting me in to the Orchard Park office that day. When I arrived at the Orchard Park office their staff was so welcoming. Nikki ( assistant) and Dr Fallon never made me feel like I disrupted their schedule. Dr Fallon asked questions and listened to the answers. Asked if the angle of the chair was comfortable for me, generally was very conscious of me as a patient my comfort and any possible concerns. He resolved the issue and gave me all the information I needed. His chair side manner was above and beyond doctors in any science. The checkout staff was equally thoughtful and helpful topping off the whole experience with kindness. However, they did the full work up for my Invisalign - but the orthodontist himself didn't even take the time to physically look at my teeth and insisted that I could not only do the top teeth (that's the only part I wanted moved) and had to do the bottom retainer too. Price: $7,500! I thought more about it as that was a hefty price tag. I went to another orthodontist for a second opinion, who took the time to look at my teeth and do a full work up showing what my teeth would look like at the end. No bottom retainer needed. Price: $2,800. While the staff was great at Askler, they crazy over charge and would recommend getting a second opinion before signing at the dotted line.
