So only two plates were served because there were two of us but we paid for a dish that serves 3. At the $80+ price tag we expected leftovers. The amount of guacamole each of us got was less than Chipotle gives you on a bowl. For the price point I am expecting an appetizers worth of guacamole. Because if I were to add up the cost of the individual items on the menu that made up the parrillada familiar I don't see how I got any value here. Additionally for a dish that included ribs as one of the meats to serve for three people, we literally got 3 ribs... Just between my gf and I we almost finished everything on the plate. Which again is suspicious for a dish that is supposed to serve 3 people. None of the meats were really stand out. To be clear the food wasn't bad but it was definitely not the best I had ever had and for what they charge I admit I was curious if they were able to back it up since similar dishes elsewhere are a fraction of the price. To top it off they charge an addition fee for paying with a card for a meal that ended up being over $90 before the tip. And they do not offer free water in a cup, we were forced to buy and drink from plastic bottles. The server was nice and attentive but the atmosphere was incredibly loud based just on the volume of the music, not even the other guests. There is definitely a lot to improve on here. It may be worth checking it out if you are having drinks is at the bar which is where most other patrons were sitting, but for food especially for value Manassas alone has so many other options to try.
