Those three words cause a tail-wagging frenzy in our house and the entire drive to camp. Walk in the door to Camp Bow Wow and immediately be greeted by pleasant smells, a well appointed rustic camp ambiance, and a friendly greeting for you and your pup. By this point, Wentworth is already tugging towards the doors to play with his pals in the back. He's off. But I never fear... I can see him on the numerous video monitors showing the entire play areas. I can even see him from home, via the video monitors on the Camp Bow Wow's website. Cool, right? Setting up an appointment or reservation is super easy by phone or online. I pay when pick Wentworth up at the end of his stay. ***Reduced rates are even offered for multiple dogs or package deals. All of this is great. But the best part is the evident happiness I see in Wentworth when I pick him up. He loves this place even more than I do. Thanks, Bow Wow - It will be a peaceful night at home. Bring your dog, you won't regret it. Wentworth thanks you for it (and he'll make another pal).

The business nonchalantly informed my family that this happens 12 times a year. This place lets 20-30 dogs plus in one room with very little to no supervision. Camp Bow Wow's business practices are inhumane as they are sacrificing the well being of your animals for more money.

Daycare here is one of my pups favorite things!…read more My pup went here for YEARS! We have since moved out of the area which is why he doesn't go now. There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it.

I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.

We've tried a few daycares when he was a puppy, and this was his first and only choice! He's been going here since he attended Puppy Pre-K - which was about 7 months ago! He's now graduated to Tiny Town or Littles the staff is great about making sure all dogs get along as well. The staff is compassionate, caring, very well educated and make sure Jett is always safe (considering he's a whopping 6lbs). Some staff are also trainers, which I love! They all understand and know Jett, so we will always be coming here - unless Jett decides he's too old for daycare someday, as he starts to calm down from being a puppy. They always sent report cards during Puppy Pre-K and send them when he does the trick of the month as well, which I love to read how he did and what they worked on. Jett has made a bunch of friends, but he has about 3 really close doggy friends - that he absolutely loves! Metro Dogs also offers birthday parties, and that was the best idea ever, Jett had a blast with his best friends a couple months ago! I highly recommend Metro Dogs and tell all my friends and coworkers about Metro Dogs! I know Jett loves them too, as we turn into the road he starts howling like a high pitched husky and is so excited to run to the door he can barely make it

Our dogs were kept in the basement where we were not allowed to go. Neither one of them ate while we were gone and we were not notified of this and they both had developed diarrhea. No one told us anything until we picked them up! So we went to pick them up after we got back from Texas and could see that something was very wrong. They each had lost 4 lbs!!! The older one was so weak that by the next day she could not stand. We took her to the emergency vet in Coon Rapids where they gave her some IV fluids and prescribed some medication. We were lucky that she made it. Our other dog pulled through okay. The Bed and Bone is not a good place for dogs and there is no communication about your dog. After this incident, I never boarded my dogs again but used Rover to have someone come to the house and stay with them. I highly recommend them. It might cost more but it's worth it, not just in price but in care, plus you're not paying an emergency vet bill. Its a bad bad bad place!
