First time I used them. They boarded for 2 weeks. They looked really well taken care of. They looked well fed and not dehydrated, no change in behavior now they are exhausted. Thanks for taking excellent care of my babies. Highly recommended read more

Front desk worker got attitude with me when I came back to get my dog at the time THEY said he would be ready. SMH

My golden did not want to stay at this place. She tried to hide behind my husband because I had left her once before at this place and wasn't happy when I got her back, she was not herself. The second time I boarded her here, she came home with a hugh open wound which was a hot spot and then proceeded to get 2 more wounds from being in this place. The staff at this place didn't even know she had an open wound. I had to tell them when I found it on the ride home. I don't get good vibes from this place and neither does my golden. The staff here need more training on handling dogs and customers. Not at all professional. Be careful leaving your fur baby with this place. read more

We have boarded our dogs and also used their grooming services. I have one dog that loved staying there while we were away being with family in Corpus. Our current dog had his grooming done there this summer and looked absolutely adorable. Bubba was so proud of himself when he strutted out. We will continue to use their services. We love Pups & Mutts. read more

(Got cut in the grooming process) im watching a rescue puppy for a friend and got him groomed on September 2nd at 8:30am. The cut looked absolutely adorable! But he has been miserable and itchy and in so much pain now I have to take him to a vet so nothing is infected. As I look closer by his rear end there are cuts. I feel absolutely horrible for this puppy. read more

Our pup has always hated being left behind at boarding and drop off is always tough so we typically try to avoid boarding her. However, we ended up trying Pups & Mutts when we moved to the area and it's the first time we've been able to find a place where drop off is a breeze and she happily goes with the staff. We feel so much better leaving her here than other places we've tried. The staff is friendly and sends daily updates, and she always comes back a happy pup! read more

They got a new groomer without telling anyone and they did not know how to cut goldendoodles. I particularly state need a 4 with teddy bear cut around the face. I picked her up and they shaved her entire body. They even read back correctly what I said but the groomer shaved her beautiful fur. She was not matted has I brush her daily. Below is the before and after picture. Beware of their grooming services. After 4 years, I will not be back. Any recommendations for a new grooming services? read more

I love the folks here at Pups & Mutts! They do a good job of cutting my dogs hair to my specifications and she always comes home looking great and very clean! I would also like to commend them on their precautions for COVID-19. I think they do a great job protecting their staff and preventing the spread of the virus. I will definitely be bringing my dog back for any of my grooming needs read more

Pups & Mutts has everything that I am looking for in a dog daycare/boarding facility in Kyle. There is room for the dogs outside to play on turf together and run around- both in the sunshine and shade. The staff is friendly and posts a lot of pictures on their Facebook page which I love! They have pools and sprinklers for the dogs on hot days. I have two young Aussies and they are tired when I come to pick them up- a FEAT if you're familiar with the breed!! Thank you P&M for the great experience. We will be back to board again soon! read more

My puppy was timid at first when i brought her for the first time but now she gets so happy and excited when we walk through the door! Everyone there greets her by name and she comes home happy & well worn-out which is hard to do for a puppy! I trust this place completely and love the staff. read more

Our German Shepherd, Pallas, has been in day care and a few overnight stays for the last 4 months. I know she is well taken care of and loved as she is so excited to go in every day. What a great staff, everyone is so kind and always helpful. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Pallas, she will miss all of you! read more

We love Pups & Mutts... especially my pup Rudy. I have to be careful mentioning the name Pups & Mutts unless we're headed out the door for another fun time at doggie daycare or he'll start whining to hurry me up. And...their trainer is truly fabulous. My Pup learned so much having Parker as a teacher. I'm beyond grateful for all he learned under his instruction! In addition, they have super fun holiday events for the pups like yesterday was a big bash having photos with the Grinch. The dogs had a blast. I could see it in all ate photos they posted.:) They have a totally outstanding staff. read more

I hate the fact that my dog is at home all day long alone while I am working, so I decided to check out a few pet day cares spots in the area! When I came across Pups & Mutts I loved their professionalism and the love they have for all the animals in their care. The website is easy to navigate and has almost every answer to any of your questions. They do require your pet to be fully vaccinated (required vaccines listed on website) and their first day of day care is considered their "evaluation day" where they monitor your dog's play/temperament. My fur baby is still getting used to all his new friends, but whenever I pick him up he is completely happy/exhausted! Their customer portal is where you go to request services and they have live web cameras so you can check up on your pup throughout the day!! The staff here is kind and truly do care about your dog's well-being. I met the owner as well, and she was explaining to me their process during COVID-19. I highly recommend this facility if you want a clean, friendly, and safe environment for your fur babies! read more

Our dog is a poodle mix that if not brushed regularly is prone to matting. When we made the reservation we asked that she be brushed out each day which the person taking the booking said wouldn't be an issue. When I dropped her off I was told that they don't actually offer that service but since they agreed to it during the booking process they would honor it. I picked her up this morning and it was obvious that she was never brushed out and it now full of matts. We will never be doing business here again. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone! They are tremendously excellent with the animals that are there! They treat the pups with great care, and well groomed! My dog is always excited to come back and never wants to leave his friends behind! BUT. Kaylee and Vianey are my 2 favorite employees there. My dog is always well behaved in their care and always smiling. read more

We have taken our pups to them since they open. Always friendly and my pups are always happy to visit. Eventhough I have 3 large pups, the staff know and take good care of them. The cameras inside allow us to checkup on them and give us peace of mind. Thank you for the service and care. read more

I started bringing my dog here because my partner and I got a new work schedule and wanted our old pup watched on the days that we couldn't get home to let him outside. The second visit they failed to give him medication that I brought for him - it was still in the baggie. The third visit they didn't feed him, and I know this because the brand new canned food I brought him was unopened, so he went the entire day without a meal until we brought him home. In addition, I just didn't like the vibe I kept getting. The employees seem like they don't want to be there. Each time I dropped him off with his food, they did not care to write down the instructions for his food, or even ask. I'd always have to tell them as they rushed out of the room. They always seemed rush at check in and pick up. At pick up, no details really on how my dog did or if he had a good day. I won't be bringing him back or recommending this facility to others. read more

My dog, Hiccup, comes here for daycare on occasion and will be boarding here over the Christmas holiday this year. Typically, our neighbor lets our dogs out a couple of times a day if needed, but after our older dogs passed away and we got this younger pup - we often need more than just a quick potty break to keep him happy. So - instead of being in his crate for an extended period of time, he comes here when we can! The things I love: *He is tired when he comes home. *He is HAPPY when he realizes where he is when we arrive to drop off and while he is so happy to see us when we come to get him, he is sad to leave! *Report cards about the visit and how he did make me smile. *There are webcams so I can peek in on him throughout the day (not that I WORRY, it's just such a fun perk!). *The staff has been great AND I also like that I can add on a bath if I ever want him to have one! *They keep an eye on the dogs as they play and can separate them if they are too rowdy and need a chill period. *They place the dogs on size AND temperament (mine (45 lbs or so) ended up with some smaller dogs (not tiny, but smaller) because he fit in better with the play style and might have been injured with the much larger dogs. I appreciated them looking out for him this way. I highly recommend this facility. read more

Pups & Mutts - An example of a report card. This is one of six pictures I got of Hiccup on this date. - Pet Boarding Near Me - Kyle, Texas

Shelby, my new hurricane rescue, loves loves loves coming here. We found ourselves in a situation where one of us needed to be out of town and the other was working long hours. Rather than keeping him kenneled for long periods of time we decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad we did. We had him in full day, daycare for a week. In fact we were so impressed with the facility we now take him for half days just so he can play with his friends that go there. Everything that Erica G. stated in her review I can personally vouch for and it's been our experience as well. Shelby was pretty timid the first couple of times. Sensing his anxiety the staff that greeted us would hold him and help him feel secure. Now when we go in he knows he's going to have a good time and immediately goes to look for his friends. I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend. Kyle is lucky to have such a wonderful facility and I hope this review will encourage more people to check this place out. Your "baby" will be very well cared for. read more

Unfortunately, my experience today talking with management was very disappointing, to say the least. My dog loved to be in daycare at Pups & Mutts and was always happy to go. She is a recent rescue, so a bit nervous discovering new places. The staff is amazing and the place is nice and clean. I had previously, ~ 2 months ago, arranged for her to stay beyond the official pick-up time on Mondays and Tuesdays and was able to get her by 8:30 PM as my work does not allow me to pick her up earlier. When calling today to continue her day care reservations after my 2 week break, the receptionist told me that my late pick-up can no longer be accommodated. I was then referred to Ms. Julie (manager) who told me the same. I questioned why the rules changed all of the sudden and my previous agreement no longer holds, she only repeated that she was sorry...like a robot... I reminded her that she is operating a business in a small town and that the wishes of the customers and community should be considered. Overall, I am upset that after having an agreement with management, the new manager who moved to town just a week ago, is not honoring what was previously agreed. The repeated "I am sorry" just does not cut it... read more

Took our Basset Hound, Winston, to get groomed today and cannot say enough great things about them! They were available for a next day appt; staff was super friendly; and sent Winston home with a baggy of treats. The cost was actually cheaper than Petco charges! They also do boarding. I highly recommended them for grooming and we will be regular customers from now on!!! read more

Went above and beyond to make sure my dog can get groomed after bad traffic made me have to push my appointment, they squeezed my dog in for a later appointment even when they weren't supposed to have a dog come in at that time. Thdid amazing on my dog, he looked so good and smelled so nice. My dog has sensitive skin and he seemed to react very well to their products! I'll definitely be returning. read more

Always fantastic service and great care shown to my animals. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Beesly and Oliver always look forward to daycare because the staff genuinely cares for them! They are always friendly at pickup and dropoff, and give me an update on how their day went. Our dogs were so well cared for here. I'm thrilled we found them! They came out clean, happy, and smelling wonderful.

Only place that would cut my scared big dogs nails this place is awesome the girls are tuff

We love pups and mutts. We drop off our girl Hera there once a week and she has the best time. I know because I can watch her on their camera and she's always having fun. The staff is great and professional. They gave me a thorough explanation of how they introduced Hera to the other pups for play dates, which made me comfortable with the whole thing. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I had to go out of town last minute and board my dog. I had never been to this facility, but they were very welcoming and accommodating to watch my dog on short notice. The owner and all of the staff were very friendly. The owner was very honest with how my dog interacted with other dogs and gave me great updates. I loved being able to watch my dog on the webcams and receive her report cards. As difficult as it was for me to leave my baby here, I felt great knowing that she was being well cared for. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to board or just put their dogs in for day care. read more

Pups and Mutts takes such good care of my boys. I trust few people with them, but this place is just about as good as home for these 2 Goldens. They recognize that my crew does not know they are dogs....and everyone at Pups treats them as I do, part of the family. I can't imagine my guys going to any other place. They got more quality attention here than I can give them at home. Don't even think about going anywhere else!!!! Your dogs will really be upset if you do. read more

I took my dog in to be groomed and clipped. These people lost their groomer months ago so I went elsewhere. Now they have a groomer and I thought I would give them a try. I was told it would be 1-1:30 hr. It usually takes 1 hour. They hadn't called me after 2 hours and I was on my way to get my pup anyway as I had to get into Austin. My call was returned and I was told it would be another 40 minutes. I'll never go back. Not reliable. read more

This is the absolute worst place to take your dog. My dog hated coming here every single time , which is strange because she loves doggy daycare . Ever since Olga left this place has no quality anymore . My dog is happier at the new place . They hire very young girls who look like they are in high school, or fresh out of high school , with no experience with dogs. I honestly don't even think any of them have work experience . The owner is never in the office when asked by staff , they said she doesn't even answer their calls before 11 am. Owner does not train staff , I wouldn't even recommend for cujo to get put down here . This location is not convienient at all. A lot of police in the area ready to give a ticket . Traffic is also slow in area . Not easily accessible . So there is nothing at all that makes this place worth going to. My dog knows best and she hates this place . She would pull away as if she didn't want to stay but in her new place she is running inside once they open the door . DO NOT GO!!!! read more
