We just LOVE Kelly's! Everyone is so kind, professional, really takes good care of our pups. Our lab is a bit of an escape artist, and they're so careful and understanding with her. Our weimardoodle (as you can see) gets a bit shaggy and always comes back looking so handsome We won't use anyone else. Highly recommend!

Look at those spotless, trimmed paws!!!

I moved to Kyle a few months ago and wanted to try a local dog groomer - I couldn't be any happier that I did. I have a 6 year old standard schnauzer. He is almost 80lbs; very sweet but also doesn't like his paws to be touched, trimmed, etc. and can be a little nervous. When we have taken him to PetSmart for years and they have never been able to cut all of his nails or trim his paws. Even the vet has a hard time trimming them. I was SO HAPPY when I picked him up from Kelly's K-9 Cuts. Not only was the schnauzer cut absolutely perfect, but every single one of his nails were trimmed perfectly and his paws were the best I have ever seen. His ears were also spotless - schnauzers have to have the hair in their ears pulled so that they stay clean and don't hold on to bacteria. It is really taxing to do and I was so pleased at how well it was done. Most importantly, when I went to pick my little guy up he wasn't jumping or anxious. He just happily walked to the door with the sweet groomer without jumping on the gate with his "LET ME OUT OF HERE" look. I will definitely bring my little guy back here. It is always scary trying a new place because I love him so much and just want him to be in good hands. If you are looking for a groomer in the area, definitely give them a try.

Uneven hair on the head and legs , longer hairs .

I didn't have a specific haircut in mind, just knew my pup was overdue (it had been about 3 months) and needed a good summer cut. I told her to do whatever she thought would look best, and she absolutely delivered. When I picked him up, he looked so darn cute! I even told her, "whatever you did, it's perfect." Not only did she do a fantastic job on my fur baby, but she was also such a pleasure to work with--so sweet and kind. I'm so happy I found her and will definitely be coming back!

We switched from another groomer who took forever to check him out because their operations were too large and disorganized. The last time I took him to Anna's in February the price was significantly cheaper. The cut wasn't as good but also he had to be shaved cause his hair was all matted. Not the groomer's fault. I tried to book another appointment and I asked the woman why the price difference. She looked at his profile and said it's 25 lbs dog. I said "my dog is 17 lbs, so was I changed the wrong amount all those other times?" She offered to have the owner call me. Owner never called. I called back a day later to cancel the appointment that I booked because our dog didn't quite need it yet but I still wanted to chat with the owner. I explained the situation and I got such inconsistent messaging. She first told me some groomers charge by weight but they do not. I told her I wasn't the one who brought up weight and correlation to price, the person working for her did. She then said the groomer usually makes a judgement on what price and she allows them to charge what they want. Then towards the end she said most of them charge the prices she sets. She explained that the last woman I had was an apprentice and new so she charged a lower price to begin with but by the end of her 5 month rotation, she charged about the same as the rest of groomers. The entire convo was really awkward and circular. I think I'll be finding a new place after that experience.

She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I'm basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There's obviously more to it than just grunting so make you're appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don't have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don't have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now! It's crazy. It's totally working! No treat or punish training. My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn't separation anxiety barking outside when she can't see me. It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her. Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it's working. Hunny fell in line immediately. My dogs aren't CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads. This is what I've been needing in my home. Thank you Amanda!

Today I came in to the vet with my dog Tokio, who had matted hair around the tips of his ears which I was very confused about because it seemed like something else was going on under there. When i took him here, the lady at the front desk for the vet office was incredibly sweet and super nice, told me they were taking tokio to the back to cut his hair then keep updating me. She then came back and told me she thinks tokio got into a pile of ants and they bit him all around his ears (which makes sense because tokio is the most adventurous dog i know). Overall, the visit was super helpful. they gave us antibibotics, and a list of other ways to clean his ears so they don't get more infected.

They meow incessantly but are unashamed at being a circus freak show act for stray pets. I love them both. (Their names are Kitty and Kat (with a K for legal purposes). My Minor Bird has grown into a full fledged adult bird and Petco has been there the whole way, providing bird seed, and those chalk thingees that they like to sharpen their beaks with. My bird (now named Major) is happily engaged to the only other bird it has ever known "Bea." Petco has known Bea for six years but she came from parts unknown and seems to have a sketchy past. But Petco doesn't judge their pets and neither do I! In fact, we are holding the wedding for my two birds, the holy union of Bea-Major, at Petco just as soon as they release my aunt from the "institution." (She loves Petco and used to buy her kitty litter there even though she didn't own a cat. Now that's what I call loyalty!) Anyway, my snapping turtle is a rescue - having come from the Austin Snapping Turtle Rescue facility and we think he is fixed because he shows no interest in turtles that we show pictures of in the IPad. I know Petco is looking for Snapping Turtle Groomers so when you get one. Make sure to let everyone d know. His name is Sid and he's a nice little turtle so long as you don't get on his bad side. I find that he doesn't like booming rap music by L'il Wayne like other critters do.
