New to the area and saw good reviews so decided to give her a call. She was friendly, scheduling was easy as was drop off and pick up. I took in my Husky/German Shepard Mix, he was in desperate need of a trim and she did amazing. Cleaned his ears, cut his nails, and trimmed him up perfectly. I appreciated our quick conversation at drop off making sure she had the right idea of what I wanted. Pricing was also very fair, tipped her well for the great service! I have been going to Kelly's to get my two Australian Shepherds groomed for the past year and a half now and she has earned my business going forward. She has pretty flexible availability and the longest I've ever had to wait to get my dogs in with her has been like a week - which I really appreciate! My dogs always come back looking exactly how I have asked and Kelly keeps notes on their cuts so that they are consistent every time. Kelly is professional and kind. Honestly I think any one star reviews would probably be due to miscommunication or human error. You HAVE to be a dog person to go into this business so I don't think Kelly has ever "traumatized" a dog or intentionally didn't listen to instructions. Since she is running this salon almost single-handedly, you can rest assured that you'll always be talking to the owner (Kelly) with any of your concerns. Kelly's K-9 cuts is Amazing! We just picked up our Dog from grooming and are very pleased. We went to CA for 2 weeks to visit our family for thanksgiving and we're not able to bring our dog with us. Luckily, we were able to find somewhere to board her while we were gone. She was living her best life playing with a ton of Dogs daily, digging in the mud and getting dirty! She had a blast but was absolutely filthy when we got her back. Thankfully we were able to book a spot at Kelly's and they were able to see here the next day. I moved to Kyle a few months ago and wanted to try a local dog groomer - I couldn't be any happier that I did. I have a 6 year old standard schnauzer. He is almost 80lbs; very sweet but also doesn't like his paws to be touched, trimmed, etc. and can be a little nervous. When we have taken him to PetSmart for years and they have never been able to cut all of his nails or trim his paws. Even the vet has a hard time trimming them. I was SO HAPPY when I picked him up from Kelly's K-9 Cuts. Not only was the schnauzer cut absolutely perfect, but every single one of his nails were trimmed perfectly and his paws were the best I have ever seen. His ears were also spotless - schnauzers have to have the hair in their ears pulled so that they stay clean and don't hold on to bacteria. It is really taxing to do and I was so pleased at how well it was done. Most importantly, when I went to pick my little guy up he wasn't jumping or anxious. He just happily walked to the door with the sweet groomer without jumping on the gate with his "LET ME OUT OF HERE" look. I will definitely bring my little guy back here. It is always scary trying a new place because I love him so much and just want him to be in good hands. If you are looking for a groomer in the area, definitely give them a try. read more

I've been taking my pups to Kelly for the past few years and have always been satisfied. You will need to call to make the appt but when you get there she will keep a card with notes on your pup so she knows what she did each time. I like that! Pups always come home clean, trimmed and happy and with a new handkerchief around their necks! read more

I have had the worst grooming experience at this location . My dog was severely cut up after his appointment on the bony parts of his legs . The groomer told me she cut him but made it seem like it was just once . There were multiple cuts all over his body and it took him a while to heal . Not to mention the haircut looked horrible . Completely uneven and nails were still long . Seems like she was rushed at the expense of my dog's health. I had to buy medicine so scabs won't get infected , and make sure he wasn't licking ALL his wounds . I still paid full price and left a good tip. Even when I tired to schedule the appointment , she scheduled me on the wrong day. Worst experience ever and I highly don't recommend . read more

we just brought our sweet little puppy girl in for a groomers appointment and she came back seeming like she was traumatized by something, i don't think i want to know what happened to her. she has had sadness in her eyes ever since. the woman helping us when we picked her up was not friendly and didn't seem like she cared about our puppy. last of all she has a bleeding wound on her lady parts. there were bad vibes in this place and we will not be coming back. it doesn't seem like these people are qualified to deal with dogs or people. read more

Check, recheck and maybe even triple check your appointment. Contacted Kelly through messenger on Facebook. She gave me a date, I told her I could not make that date, she gave another one. The date comes, I walk in and she not only doesn't have me for that day, she has me down for the date I told her I could not bring my dog in for. She tells, with attitude, to call next time and hands me her card. Again, with attitude she writes my dog in on her book. Then I ask her if there is a problem her reply was "He'll be the 14th dog". Kelly, be more responsible with your communications and your over booking. I will *not* have my precious dog in a facility where there is attitude and probably a hastened job performed because "he will be the 14th dog". Super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been unable to find a groomer in the Kyle area since we moved here. The newest place is so overpriced we will never try them. I found Kelly's on yelp and gave them a try last week. Our English Bulldog was happy when he walked in the door. Kelly is soooooo very nice and friendly and immediately bonded with our dog. The price was so reasonable I could not believe she was going to everything we wanted for such a low price. She did a fantastic job on our dog he smelled so good, nails were cut and buffed, the folds in his face were clean and he was a very happy boy when we picked him up. We will never go anywhere else and with the price we will be taking him for grooming more often. read more

Kelly is not only an amazing groomer, she's an amazing person. I would never take my dogs to anyone else, especially "big box" pet stores. She has taken loving care of my Maltese for his entire life - 13 years. He was always nervous riding in a car, but as soon as Kelly takes him, his fast little heartbeat slows down immediately, giving her kisses. Amazing job! And she quoted me one thing on the phone (sight unseen) and tried to charge me that amount after doing way more work. I insisted upon paying her what she would have quoted me, had she known how matted my poor sheltie was. Even with that, was way less expensive than the local Petco. I will go back and recommend her to anyone who admires how fabulous our boy looks (and smells). I really cannot express how impressed I was -- from the time I dropped off to pick up.
