Went here for dinner on a Sunday, and it was relatively quiet. The service was friendly and nice and the place itself is truly inspiring.
We had the sirloin, and it was cooked just as we asked (medium and medium-rare). The french fries were served in a common bowl for the two eaters, which was a nice touch as one of us doesn't eat them all that much. The fries themselves tended a bit towards the usual: crispy on the outside but a little bit soggy in the middle. I'll admit to this being my pet peeve, so your mileage may vay: this is very common in restaurants and you might not even think twice. But to the chef: Double fry your fries!
Overall and in all fairness, I have nothing to complain about the place, the service or the food. Based on my first visit, Puosun Kellari is now firmly in the race for the best steak house in Helsinki. Would recommend, will go again. read more
