When it's good it's great! ...but it's not always good, and it's not always great. I think I've been here five or six times in total. I usually get the margarita pizza. The first few times I went, the food was really good. If you want AUTHENTIC Italian pizza, this is the place to go. Flavors blend perfectly and the food leaves you feeling clean and satisfied. When they nail it, it's some of the best pizza in Minnesota, but the last few times I went were not very good (I'll explain later). Ordering is really hard. Whenever I order, there's always at least a 30 minute wait (which isn't bad for pizza) but you can usually get around it by the ordering online (they don't take orders over the phone). The problem is, the website is not super optimized so it usually takes a while to place the order, and even then, the pizza isn't always ready on time. The first few times I ordered were like heaven. The pizza was wonderful, and the service was excellent. The last 3 times I ordered were not as good. During the first of these three visits I bit into something really hard (like sand). I think it was burnt stuff from the oven. Idk. The next time I went, I had place my order ahead of time on the app, but still ended up waiting over 45 minutes in the pickup area. I think they must have lost my ticket because they eventually asked me what I had ordered again. I was really disappointed that they hadn't check in with me while I was standing there that whole time. Not only that, but when they made a mistake, they didn't acknowledge it and weren't very proactive in resolving the issue. The last time I went, there was a glob of uncooked dough between the bottom crust and the first layer of toppings. It was slimy and I didn't finish it. I feel really mixed. It's been good about half the time so if I could give 2.5 stars I probably would, but ultimately I'm going with 2 because even when they've made mistakes (which happens to the best of us), they haven't really done anything to fix them. With a little more consistency and better customer service, they could easily be one of my favorite pizza places. read more

We ordered pizza to go after searching on Yelp for reviews. Punch did not disappoint! For the most part, these are personal sized pizzas. If you're a hungry adult, get your own. We tried 5 pizzas, and they were all fantastic. My favorite was the one with the salad on top. The crust was SO GOOD!! I'm still thinking about it. Chewy and flavorful at the edges, thin and perfectly cooked in the centers. I'm sad we don't live near one, but we'll for sure be back when we're in the area. read more

I had a meeting in Eagan so I got lunch here. I will always make a trip here over my own summit hill neighborhood one. I remembered there is a lunch special til this Thurs. Napoli and Margarita $5 and classics $8. I got anchovy and olive, no capers. Just delicious. What stood out to me was the guy in the front clearing tables and much more. Jack is so friendly and helpful to customers. He brought me out silverware and napkins I forgot. He has the common sense kind of excellence as a worker. He brings a great energy to the place. If they do Employee of the Month they should start with Master Jack. read more

Me and my family enjoy the Pizzas here. They are always good and fresh because they are made to order in minutes. I think it is 400 degrees for 90 seconds to cook it quickly. You can order their pre-made suggestions or you can customize your own. We normally start with a suggested pizza and modify from there. This place being the only authentic marketed pizza place in Eagan it's understandable why it did have the hype it did. However there are flaws, the seasoning especially salt tends to be extremely concentrated towards the center which is quite off-putting. A popular complaint would be that the pizza is too burnt but this can easily be fixed by asking for your pizza to be lightly done. Although even this has inconsistencies because when I ask for it that way I either actually get it lightly done or I get it still burnt. I had already posted a review on google about this situation, but I just want this word to be spread to as many people as possible as I am just really frustrated that I had the misfortune of witnessing this. I heard this Latino worker making a joke about slavery, as if it was a threat to the worker he was talking to. I noticed how the mood quickly shifted amongst the staff as everyone seemed visibly upset over what he had just said, which I was too as a black man myself. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional of this worker and would like for this man to get talked to and fired over his actions. Especially in an environment where people of all backgrounds come to enjoy a meal. Stopped in on a gray and cold fall day, as they were opening for lunch. The restaurant smelled amazing, staff were all friendly and joking... and the food was truly amazing. Love going to this place and this area! It's crazy how it can cook your pizza in like 90 seconds. You have 2 different options you can order here, you can do a create your own or you can order off the menu. I usually do create your own I pick the Napoli over the margherita just cause I'm personally not a huge fan of basil, but my fiancé says it's not bad. You can also get beer or wine here as well. It's a little on the pricey end but that's just the territory you're in when eating fast casual. It's for sure worth checking out at least once in my opinion since you can go with pretty normal toppings such as pepperoni and sausage or you can go fancy with prosciutto and capers! Minus one star because sometimes it can be nearly impossible to find a table and you literally have to stalk people when they are finished eating to snag one (which doesn't really make the dining in experience enjoyable for anyone). Quality wise, this is the only Punch I have been satisfied with outside of the Grand Ave location in St Paul! Definitely better quality than the Uptown location, so kudos to that! read more

I love Punch Pizza and have been really impressed with their ability to maintain quality and consistency across its locations. The Eagan Punch makes good food, but I've had some challenges with service. I like to order specialty pizzas without cheese, which at other locations has never been an issue. At this location, the server always makes me rebuild the pizza from scratch, manually entering every topping. On one occasion, toppings were missed. On another occasion, the cost of the pizza ended up being more expensive than the specialty pizza I was trying to order, even though the lack of cheese should make it less expensive if anything. I wasn't sure what to expect going in here. Pizza is pizza. Right? Wrong!!! This is by far the best crust I have ever eaten. It is chewy (but not too chewy) and could almost be a meal by itself. The sauce is less like sauce and more like fresh tomatoes slightly crushed. So good!!! Seriously most pizzas are just a vessel for the toppings. These pizzas don't even need all the toppings! This review is specifically for their new gluten-free crust, which is apparently different from their previous gf crust, although it too was amazing. Can I just say how hard it is to get one's hands on truly delicious gluten-free pizza crust?! Especially when dining out. Most restaurants take the lazy route, subbing in the cardboard-like, flavorless crust from the ubiquitous gf grocery brand I won't name, but you all know what I'm talking about. Punch, by contrast, managed to get their hands on a gluten-free crust that is chewy and delicious, virtually indistinguishable from its gluten-filled counterpart. Add to it Punch's always fresh toppings, and I honestly could eat here every other day and never get tired of it. I've been a big fan of Punch for a few years now, and I was so happy that it was opening in Eagan. The Margherita pizza is the best! I'm taking one star off because the quality of the pizza sometimes isn't consistent. The last few times I have been here, it has been pretty solid! First time here - couldn't wait to try after hearing everyone rave about the pizza. My mom ordered the Greek salad and I had the Gorgonzola salad. Both were very good. However the pizza arrived and it was SO soggy - like someone had poured a glass of water on it. YUK Brought it up to the counter to ask if that was normal, the girl at the counter didn't really answer one way or the other but just said they'd remake it. Great. Next pizza came and the guy who delivered it to the table said it was "Punch Dry". First time here and was semi impressed. Great concept and lots of choices. Pizza in 60 secs.. yep, 900 degree oven. My only complaint was the crust was a little soggy. We went here on a whim after hitting up Total Wine (and HyVee, after...both in the same plaza area). We got in with a bit of a lull and scored an individual table. The other main seating is shared seating at a really long table. While the concept is nice, I prefer the separate table. If you haven't been here you come in and line up against the wall and make your way to the front to order. We walked right up but while we were eating and when we left there was a line. Our table was right on the other side of this line. It's too bad the wall isn't just a tad higher as you kind of feel like you have "the hover" over you while you're eating. They are pretty much a personal-sized pizza. Truth be told I should have brought home a couple of pieces as leftovers, but I am guilty of eating the whole thing. I ordered the Milanese: Roasted red pepper, ham, gorgonzola, and basil. Good stuff! I haven't been to a Punch Pizza since they first opened up in the city. While I ordered one of their #'d pizza options- you can start w the basic Margherita or Napoli and add your own ingredients. And by comparison my husband's pizza was $3.50 less! Their board says 900 degrees and 60 seconds (referring to their pizza oven). We likely waited less than 10 mins from order to delivery to our table. Only thing I didn't like is that their sauce is kind of runny so the crispiness of your crust loses its crispiness. They have a small patio for the summer months! read more

Punch has always been a special place. Fantastic people, great food. None of that has changed. However the in-restaurant experience has certainly changed. Due to the single oven, you end up "competing" with other orders much more than at other places. This means an hour and a half wait for food when there is basically no one in the restaurant is not unusual these days. The volume of takeout orders shows why. Next time I'll probably try the digital eat-in option, but for finding somewhere to eat when you haven't planned ahead? If you can't wait, you're probably better finding someplace else. I love Punch! Their pizza is delicious, and their Nutella foldover or whatever-it-is dessert is so good, I don't know why more pizza places don't incorporate Nutella into their menu! They are kind of expensive, though (I should mention I always get the fresh mozz upgrade)- and it's an awkward place for me. Like- do I eat the whole pizza? What do we do with our garbage? I think we end up leaving the garbage on the table, and I guess they're single serve, but there's always just one piece left that makes me wonder if it's worth taking home or if I should just pack it in. This is not a place we will take the family- it's about $40 just for me and my husband to eat there, there's no way I'm including 4 kids too! And I've gotten stuff that has been a little too done for my taste... But it's a nice place that we can go to relax after a long morning browsing at Hobby Lobby. read more

You will never get more authentic Italian pizza in the state of MN. We always get the punch salad, Napoli's, and margaritas; they are perfect every time. This was my first time at this location. The service here was excellent from the girl at the register to the guy who served us our pizzas. Our fresh pizza literally came out in 4 mins! Even when the place was so busy. One thing that that all Punch's should add is chilli oil that some of these pizza joints at beginning to have. It's olive oil with red chilled pepper mixed in, so when it sits it has a nice spicy flavor with the pizza. read more

I think like all small chains, they struggle here with consistency. My kids ordered pepperoni pizzas (margherita plus $1 to add pepperoni). Their pizzas were covered. I ordered 3 extra toppings... mine was sparse. It's our second time here and this repeated. Aside from inconsistency of what you get, the flavor is excellent. They remind me of a Blaze pizza however you can't choose your ingredients as they make it nor can you influence how much of any topping you get. We've been to Naples and this satisfies in a way Pizza Hut never will. So it's good, but I hope management looks at consistency. You shouldn't get less of a topping because you buy more. Finally, I would not bother with the focaccia... because it's not. It's pizza dough with rosemary on it. Pretty funny result! Still edible, but it's not focaccia. read more

I'm so excited to have a Punch Pizza in Eagan! Pizza and atmosphere are the same as at other locations. There's a good amount of outdoor seating as well. Not much more to say, I love Punch, it's Italian-style pizza so you have to know what you're getting - the crust gets slightly charred, and you don't have too much cheese. I ordered a Margherita with Mozzarella Di Bufala. This was one of the worst pizzas I've eaten the crust was burned, not just slightly burned. It was burned with black char. Plus the sausage was ground sausage and there was barely any cheese, this was the expensive mozzerella cheese. I paid $11.70. Would have been a GREAT pizza. Loved the ingredients, flavors, texture of crust. If only the crust had been cut through completely, there wasn't some sort of grit like sand in it and it was at least warm when I picked it up. I followed their COVID rules and didn't come into the restaurant until exactly 6:30 as instructed by my order, even though I arrived 10 minutes early. Picked up the pizza and opened the box when I got in my car 5 seconds later and the pizza was barely warm. Totally cold by the time I got home. Pizza obviously was ready WAY b4 6:30. Almost a 5 / New location in Eagan is as good as the Grand Av one. Neapolitan crust is thin and the sauce is sweeter than most. They have some really tasty sausage and lots of vegetable options. Everything tastes super fresh. Employees are great, fast & friendly. Prices are entirely reasonable. The space is kept nice and clean. The area it's in is kinda busy but it's super easy to get in & out of Punch. Lines can be long but once you order you get your food within ten minutes. Seating gets a bit tight, but the pizza is almost better with a tad more crisping at home. The Toscano is my personal favorite. read more
