The menu is extensive with plenty of options and the space is very welcoming (though not very large). Our server came and we ordered drinks but then didn't come back for a while. We finally ordered but when food and drinks started coming, the timing was all over the place. Two meals didn't come until at least 20 min after the rest and the majority of us were done eating by this time. The one meal that took the longest was a side of scrambled eggs! The quickest thing to make out of all of our orders. Price wise, the spot was reasonable but with the service I'm not sure how fast we'll be back.

The chilaquiles themselves were flavorful with just a slight kick from the salsa; I just wish they had a bit more onion for extra texture. The chicken enchiladas were excellent. Honestly the standout savory dish. Everything about them was well-balanced and cooked perfectly. Now the real star, the churro pancakes. These were amazing. You get a stack of four pancakes topped with a pecan sauce and served with two churros on the side. The pancakes are definitely on the sweeter side, but in the best way possible. The vibe is immaculate, blending Hispanic culture with a modern twist, and the food and service back it up. I informed her that the waitress said we could substitute grits for hashbrowns, but she never informed us of the up charge, nor did she inform us of the up charge for turkey sausages on a kid meal when asked any other breakfast spot I've been to if they said we could substitute it was never up charge waiters need to be retrained on the menu . Customer should be informed about these things when placing orders so bills are not a surprised. I also notice waiters walking in and out of the bathroom with their aprons I myself working food service and my apron never enters the bathroom with me. They do have an emergency technician on call to stop by immediately if we ever have any issues.
