The reason the manger said the food was cold was because it was coming from outside. Then all the dinners started complaining about their food being cold. The manager got mad and said then you guys can have a refund. Since now we are over an hour since our reservation time we asked for a refund. The manager looked and me and walked off. I followed him and asked again in which he gave me a half baked answer. Then some woman I'm assuming was management approached me aggressively to go outside and talk. She thought she was going to chastise me like her kid or something. This place is ran by a bunch of people that don't know about customer service. We requested a refund as a lot of others. Thank you for destroying Valentines day for us as well as others that night. Not one apology all we got was excuses. I wouldn't take my dog here.

The French Onion Soup was very good though, there was generous pieces of onion, bread, and the soup itself. I would try it again for sure! The Kids Spaghetti was quite good, the noodles were cooked well, and the sauce was tasty. There needed to be more sauce though, as there wasn't a whole lot. I did ask for more sauce after I saw what was brought out, It was still enjoyable though. For dessert, my family and I got the Crème Brûlée, Maple Blondie, and the Bourbon Cake. The Crème Brûlée was super rich and silky. Creme Brûlée's are one of my favorite desserts so this one from The Venetian Estate held up to my expectations. The Maple Blondie had wonderful flavor, it was nice and chewy. The Ice-cream on top was very yummy, and the sauce drizzled had a good flavor as well. The Bourbon Cake was mouthwatering. You could tell it had Bourbon in it (DUH LOL) but it was super good! The Bourbon flavor wasn't to overwhelming. The Bourbon Cake was nice and light. The cake was not heavy at all. It was also served with Ice-cream. The sauce in the bottom of the dish also had a Bourbon flavor which was nice. I loved all of the desserts and would come back and give them all another taste. This was kind of a last minute choice since we were headed out of town and our previous engagement got canceled due to weather. I called and talked to Debbie (I think) who was more than happy to answer all my questions even though they weren't even open yet. Not only did she take the time to help us in our decision, she gave us some great suggestions for lunch and other things in the area. The staff that greeted us when we got there was just as welcoming, patient, and happy to help. The location was very clean and well put together. I like that you go into a separate room to hear the instructions, as this was not the case in an escape room we went to in Columbus. The room that was suggested for the kids was Break a Leg and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. There was plenty of problem solving for the adult/teenagers and lots of interaction for the kids. This one is fun for everyone! I really like the set up and the props. The clues were great and very challenging. There was quite a bit more to this room than we expected and was much better than some previous rooms we had been to. There was more humor involved compared to some of the dark or creepy rooms so this may not fit everyone's taste but we absolutely loved it. I brought four kids with me and the last escape rooms weren't super fun for the little ones - ages 7-19. This one was engaging and so much fun for the kids that they keep asking when we can go back. I don't think you'll be disappointed and don't be afraid to ask questions because the staff is super helpful!
