Sarah was the only one on site this day August '22, but welcomed me in and offered me a drink of water. She had a few pieces she was finishing up at the end of her workday, worked as we just chatted. Learning i also worked in clay, she handed me a pinch to play with. (its a potter thing) The studio clay is a rich red. A mostly local clay from the area. The work is outstanding yet humble (like she is) with several color schemes. The place is out in the rural...a rocky drive back and forth up a hill. a great little shop and studio. please visit.

The pottery is not only beautiful it is useful in every day life. I use my soup bowls every week and my vases are used for flowers from my garden all year long. You can watch while pottery is being made. Sarah will sit down and explain the process to you. They will offer you punch and coffee while you are looking at all the pottery for sale. This is a place I always look forward to visiting with my friend. We just spent more money on awesome treasures for our home. Sarah was so hospitable just like an old friend. Plus all the beautiful flowers outside are a joy to behold. Such a nice trip to a site up in the hills of Kentucky. After visiting Sarah go into Berea, to search for more treasures for local artisans as Berea is the art capital of Kentucky.

Absolutely love this little gem hidden away in the heart of downtown Winchester…read more I could literally spend a small fortune in this pottery store decorating my home. This store is not like any other, it's not overwhelming with selections. They have just the right amount of color choices and pieces. They have mugs hanging on the wall as soon as you walk in 2/$30. This was my favorite spot. They are all unique in their own way. Various colors, styles and sizes. This is also the home of the "This might be Bourbon" logo on their mugs. They have a nice little selection of Kentucky mugs. T-shirt's and also sale some hand carved wooden pieces from a gentleman out of Berea. If you're interested in making your own or learning they also offer classes. This is definitely a place we will return to for our home and gifts.

This shop is a great addition to downtown Winchester. It is a locally owned and opporated business…read morethat just had their grand opening tonight. The owners Carvel and Ashley have been traveling around Kentucky to different festivals until now. They have an official store front. They have the greatest style and personality in their work. They have a signature color and flare to their pottery. It's more than just functional, it is art. This store is a tribute to their hard work and success. Here you can find anything from gift tags, Christmas ornaments, coffee mugs, bowls, plates, just to name a few. If you can mold it and skulpt it out of clay, you can find it here. They also sell logo wear and the growing popular beard oils and soaps. Impressive. Stop in and see what they have. I think soon they will be teaching classes here as well if I read their Website correctly.
