I took a team of 5 down to the Battlearium and we could not have had a better time. We're insane and did the whole gauntlet of their experiences: Archery Wars, Nerf Wars, and Laser Tag. We had a total blast in each experience. I was blown away by their laser tag system. Many different types of gun types, a myriad of differing game types, (Gun Game was my favorite!) and excellent hit box system. The Nerf Wars we played with another group, and there's nothing quite like running around with a 60-round capacity Hades to make you feel like a child all over again. The photos that were captured of me while playing make me look like I'm 11 (ssshhh! I'm totally 21!). And last but not least, their Archery Wars. My my, what a unique experience! There's just something SO fun and primal about shooting a bow and arrow at your friends! No matter what you do here at Battlearium, you're bound to have an excellent time! I would play again in a heartbeat.

The Battlearium hosted my son's 10th birthday and I couldn't ask for a better experience. The service was exceptional, the space was clean, and the employees were incredibly helpful with the kids. Despite being a battle arena, the space is very low-key. There is only one play zone, so your party is the only party in the arena at that time. Therefore, you don't get your kids mixed up with kids from other parties. The party room is completely removed from the arena, so people who don't want to participate/play have a quiet place to sit. The play itself was raucous, loud, and a ton of fun. The kids left exhausted, sweaty, and satisfied with the amount of time they were allowed to play. An invaluable perk of the Battlearium is the location. Being right downtown means parents can drop their kids off at the party, then go next door to the Cellar Door or around the corner to Summit for some adult time! Perhaps parents could take siblings over to Inner Geek or the Pottery Place. The options downtown are plentiful! It's truly an outstanding location for a birthday party. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic time with family and friends, this is the place to go!!! Battlearium has everything you need for a great experience. With easy check in and tons of options to make each experience unique and fun. Come and have an epic Nerf battle one time, a tactical laser tag game or an intense archery battle with foam arrows. It is an experience good for all ages and with 2 young boys, they could not have been happier and can't wait to go back for another afternoon of fun and excitement. The time spent in the arena flies by and the great staff keeps it fun with tons of games for you to play while there! It is the place to go while in downtown for genuine family fun!! Can't wait to go back!! read more

You're allowed to bring in an outside cake, but no other outside food or drinks. There's a good variety of arcade games for kids, teens, and adults, but not much for toddlers or very young children. The animatronics are definitely the standout feature - nostalgic and fun to watch - but the interior is pretty dark, and the exterior looks worn and overdue for a refresh. Overall, it's a decent spot for a birthday party or casual hangout, but it definitely shows its age. I'd call it a solid middle‑of‑the‑road experience.

We were told that we could purchase a ticket for $18 which included two games of bowling, 2 games of laser tag and skating. They failed to tell us that their was a party going on and we wouldn't be allowed to use the laser tag. They kept telling us it wouldn't be much longer and we'd be able to play. They told us about another 30 minutes for 2 hours. We left without ever getting to play and of course I had very disappointed kids. We should have been told when we purchased a ticket that included 2 games of laser tag that we weren't going to be allowed to play. They took my money and offered no refund for those 2 games. Very poor business ethics.

This was kind of a last minute choice since we were headed out of town and our previous engagement got canceled due to weather. I called and talked to Debbie (I think) who was more than happy to answer all my questions even though they weren't even open yet. Not only did she take the time to help us in our decision, she gave us some great suggestions for lunch and other things in the area. The staff that greeted us when we got there was just as welcoming, patient, and happy to help. The location was very clean and well put together. I like that you go into a separate room to hear the instructions, as this was not the case in an escape room we went to in Columbus. The room that was suggested for the kids was Break a Leg and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. There was plenty of problem solving for the adult/teenagers and lots of interaction for the kids. This one is fun for everyone! I really like the set up and the props. The clues were great and very challenging. There was quite a bit more to this room than we expected and was much better than some previous rooms we had been to. There was more humor involved compared to some of the dark or creepy rooms so this may not fit everyone's taste but we absolutely loved it. I brought four kids with me and the last escape rooms weren't super fun for the little ones - ages 7-19. This one was engaging and so much fun for the kids that they keep asking when we can go back. I don't think you'll be disappointed and don't be afraid to ask questions because the staff is super helpful!
