This is not a good place to go for cardiac care. Staff will not help you in anyway, they will make you feel miserable. Incompetent, slow, not willing to help, no empathy, do not perform their basic steps in/out of the apppintment. Frustating experience, NOT recommended at all. I've been seeing Dr. Mia at Pulse Cardiologist since May 2025. About a month before my first appointment, I told them I was having trouble getting my records. I explained Dr. Mia would need them because I had labs and procedures done with specialists, doctors, and at the hospital. Two days before my visit, I called again. They said I needed to submit a release of information. I emailed it to Liz that same day. At my appointment, Dr. Mia said they had no records. Her staff hadn't submitted the request. I had to fill out another release. I told Dr. Mia I had already sent it and that releases are valid for a year. At my follow-up in August, Dr. Mia said she would look into why they still hadn't received anything. I also informed her that I was having an issue with my prescription not getting approved by my insurance and her staff is aware and stated working with the insurance to get it approved. She also said she wasn't aware of any work being done with my insurance to get a prescription approved. She prescribed another in the meantime. Her staff had told me they were handling it. On 10/22/25, Elis called to say the prescription was ready for pickup. I asked again about my records and inquired about my next appointment and lab work. The appointment was scheduled for November. Elis said there were no records on file. Elis became inconvenienced, since she said the only reason she was calling was for the prescription. I asked for a supervisor to call me back. Later that day, Liz called and said they resubmitted the request to my doctor, specialists, and hospital. She also said they don't notify patients when records aren't received until the next appointment. I asked them to consider changing that policy. Patients should be told sooner. Lesson learned. Get your own medical records before your visit. It saves time, stress, and helps your doctor treat you better. Don't count on their staff to assist you. More to come. read more

After my previous cardiologist suddenly dropped out of network I was worried about switching to a new cardiologist and then subsequently a new electrophysiologist. I arrived for my appointment at Pulse and both Dr. Doyle and Dr. Partow were amazing! It turned out to be a good change. And to have both Cardiology and Electrophysiology in one office is more convenient. read more

After months of waiting to get an appointment I kept getting the run around. This has to be the worst office staff I've dealt with thus far in my health care needs which has been quite a bit. I don't recommend this place at all. The doctor didn't even write the notes down correctly and didn't listen to anything I was trying to explain And when I confronted the staff I was told that I didn't have to come back. My Oncologist refered me to this Cardiologist just to get a echo for my chemo and for a week they kept telling me that they had not received the authorization. Called again today and they said they still had not received it and even if they did they could not see me until February. They knew i needed it for my chemo and not once did they tell me this so I waisted a whole week with them just to tell me that "i should let my Oncologist know and to have them find a different cardiologist". UGH! This is not right! This is our lives and they don't care! read more

Extremely unprofessional office! The people who schedule your referral appointment- don't care if it states STAT - they offer you appointments 3-4 weeks later They violate your members rights! They have no respect for their patients! They cause you to waste your precious time and miss work on appointments they call and cancel with barely but a few hours of notice! The office managers are never available to speak to. They treat their patients very badly, they cause you unneeded stress and with our heart conditions that's the last thing we all need. Just had another follow up appointment to my February heart procedure (Mitral Clip), and again, the staff was great (they even called me to say that the doctor was running about 30 minutes late in surgery), and my confidence in Dr. Mukherjee is total. He took the time to answer all my questions and give me a better understanding on the recovery expected over the next few months. They also scheduled my follow up electrocardiogram to track the progress and benefits of my procedure. I appreciate that Pulse Cardiology is a specialty (heart) clinic, and they take the time to answer all their patients questions, which can lead to delays in them keeping on schedule. I would much rather have to wait a little longer for an appointment and get quality care instead of being rushed through and not getting all information relevant to my heart health. I love my doctor, and followed her to this office. My doctor gets 10 stars. The office staff is terrible. I have a 9 am appt for an echo. Shocking to find out whomever made my appt back in march put it in the wrong place in the computer. And there is no one available today. So now, after taking off work, and driving 45 minutes, I get to reschedule AGAIN. This is not the first time. I now have to reschedule not only the echo but my follow up. There were no apologies made by staff, only excuses that someone else messed it up. I've not yelped about previous issues here but I'm on a roll right now. My first contact with the front office staff was waiting on hold for 22 minutes, calling back to be told she is busy and I need to wait.... another 17 minutes. Completely miss spelled my name and on my first appt had me listed as a male. It was down hill from there. Oh and then there was the time the doctor asked for a blood pressure cuff..... she was brought a pediatric cuff. We both just looked at it and shook our heads. This was Inland Heart & Vascular Medical Associates before it was Pulse Cardiology. Then the office was great, now they are lucky to be getting a 2 star rating. In my opinion the doctors get a 5 star rating but the front office is the worst, they will give you a heart attack. Have to make multiple calls and hope things get done. Noting is done in a timely matter. I have been waiting for 3 weeks just to get approval for testing. They do things when they want to there is zero sense of proficiency. This place is goddamn ridiculous. I had an appt at 1, got here at 12, it'll probably be passed 2 o'clock when I'm seen. There's a reason I made a 1 o'clock appt, because I have other things to do later in the day. Only my 2nd time here, it sucks, no wonder people always end up having to reschedule here. People are always left waiting and if they don't ask what the hell is going on when their appointment was two hours ago, they might never get seen. I brought my daughter in law here I am absolutely astounded by the lack of care compassion the front office staff has. My daughter has been waiting on a referral and still has been put off. We get here for her appointment they stated we sent you a phone call reminder to change your appointment no phone call was made when we got there and they stated yes we did this is the third time your appointment has been extended out and now we have to sit here wait till who knows when because they also stated that they put her in as a fill-in which is also another lie . What I don't understand why the doctor does not consent to figure out the reviews and test something about "office staff is this is supposed to be a professional business with them to report your staff to be at the festival or you want to have a truly look into changing my front office staff if this is my business. I don't want to even put one star. I think people should start complaining to there insurance company. My daughters surgery is being put off due to the front office not doing there job. i am scheduled for surgery on october 17th, at the last minute the neurosurgeon requested some additional pre op tests one of which was a clearance from a cardiac specialist, i just about died, with just a few days before surgery i felt there was no way as every doctors appointment i had to make to get to the point of seeing a neurosurgeon took a minimum of a month. i contacted pulse cardiology and talked with liz, i explained my dilemma she went way out of her way to get me an appointment the following day. the appointment went well and i'm on my way to surgery thanks to liz, dr patel and the entire staff of pulse cardiology. fantistic customer service. thank you so much, you guys are awesome. richard friend read more

Not impressed at all. Had a few cancellations at the last minute(on their part). This last visit I arrived 15 minutes early which is most appropriate for an appointment and they asked me to find a bench outside in the courtyard in the blistering sun and would not open the doors until exactly12:45. Met Dr. Ryan for the first time and loved him. He was very kind, thorough, and a great conversationalist. I like a doctor that isn't just a cold machine like we get with most of the young doctors coming out of school these days. I must say though that he was 30 minutes late to the office and I always have to wait at this facility. The staff has improved a lot since Dr Moloney retired. Also, my original appointment was made for one day and supposedly it was cancelled by phone. So when I showed up I was sent home with a new appointment. Needless to say I never got a call. I have witnessed this same issue with other patients in the past. Whatever staff member responsible for this scheduling dilemma needs some training. read more

Absolute nightmare in scheduling an appointment for a follow up after a heart attack. Was advised by the hospital MD to be seen within 1-2 weeks since January 10th today is February 9th...still no appointment. I have contacted Pulse at least 8x to get this scheduled, had the Primary Care office contact them, a nurse within St. Bernardines contact them also faxed over the paper referral. All I have been given is excuses from various employees which is unbelievable now. Was given an appointment and then later that same day was called back and told it was cancelled. I am at the point where a visit back to the primary care is in order to get a new referral to another Cardiology Center. I have worked in healthcare for over 13 years which includes 8 in scheduling appointments. I have never witnessed a patient go through this much hassle. I will also be filing a complaint to the state medical board as well as the severity and importance of the hospital admission and follow up despite my diligence was not enough for Pulse Cardio to bother to schedule an appointment. read more
