They take really good care of my mom. They have great service at the front office and do care about their patients.

Once again, Apex has dropped the ball. Saw my doc in the 1st of May. I was supposed to receive refills on all of my medications. I didn't receive any at my pharmacy so I called this morning because I am completely out of one of the medications I have to take. I called and they tell me that my insurance is no longer accepted at Apex and I will have to find a new cardiologist. I asked when did this occur because I haven't received a notice, letter or even a phone call. The young lady was very apologetic but said this occurred on May 15. This is now June 2. So was I supposed to guess they no longer accept my insurance? The professionalism of this company is at an all-time low. I'm going to miss the Inland heart doctors team and staff. Honestly, I'll gladly leave Apex and find a new cardiologist. Hope they get their stuff together and treat the other patients, right because at this point, their professionalism is unacceptable read more

Yikes!!!! What a day. I had a basic follow up appointment to secure test result that was conducted from another medical facility over four weeks ago. Not too concerned, I tried to schedule a simple teleconference call, but they stated that they no longer do that. No big deal. My appointment today was for 3:30 pm, but they requested that I show up at 3:15 p.m I showed up extremely early (2:40 pm) and was in no hurry at the time. Since they have recently transitioned to APEX, I had to fill out an enormous amount of new paperwork. I cannot believe that my previously filed information was not transferable as well. Doesn't sound like a friendly purchase or merger to me. Anyway, paperwork all filled out. Then I sat, and sat, and sat. 3:30 p.m came and went, 3:45......4:00.....4:15 p.m. While I truly understand that switching from a new organization can take time, these were the same staff members prior to the change. When the Family Nurse Practitioner (Amy) came in to provide me with my results, the ordeal took roughly 5 minutes. Amy is a super nice person and was apologetic, but then she wanted me to hang around to reschedule another annual followup. Here we go again, 5 minutes, turned to 10, 10 to 15 minutes. Finally, I just up and walked out, with the intent to NEVER return to this facility again. I am fortunate that i have a great primary doctor and with a PPO, I have choices to many other similar facilities if ever needed again. I was also sadden that I was NEVER ever seen by an actual medical doctor. Wishing them all. read more

My first visit ever to a Cardiologists, there's many people who are just terrified. Because a specialist means something wrong, then you got people like me. The only time seeing of any kind of Doctor or Specialist, " the Entrance to the ER ". Alright down to business I have been a Patient at Inland Heart Center going on three years now. Srinhdhi Ekkati PA-C did my first initial valuation, and I did not even know what a PA-C did. I learned really quick she asked all the right questions. Made you feel at ease, smart Doctors already know you're as nerves as a Scare Crow during Corn season. After a few different tests, results showed some blockage. So, I was getting scheduled to have a Stent installed to help the flow. A Doctor Dhaval Desai is my Cardiologist that I have never meet. I'm getting wheeled into the surgical room at C.C.H., Doctor Desai walks up with one his Nurses. Interduce's his self and the Nurse, I raised up from the gurney it took a minute speechless. Then back to normal out it comes "Nice to meet you Doc how old are you? Doogie Hauser M.D. is my Cardiologist". From that day on Inland Heart Doctor's, no matter what I was told to do to help to feel better. Srinhdhi Ekkati and Dhaval Desai are outstanding in their Craft. Everyone has a profession, when a patient feels relaxed and confident within a few minutes. That's the difference between a profession and a Craft. First of this year I got a letter informing me Doctor Desai has moved on, and i had to pick another Doctor in the office. I had two already scheduled for 3 months prior, test and follow up. Got my test done, went for my follow up. They call me, oh yes I can't forget the nurses. There are awesome so she puts me in a room, takes my vitals. Before she leaves, tells me Amy are Nurse Practitioner well be right couple of minutes. She shut the door video or photo. Would have could been Nominated Oscar Performance, I was like what f@%$ is a Nurse Practitioner. Miss Amy walked in interduce's herself, I went ahead and filled her in who has been treating me. Went through my test results and my meds do I need anything any questions. She was just like Srinhdhi Ekkati and Dhaval Desai relaxed within minutes. Amy was finishing up with my visit, I had asked her "what is a Nurse Practitioner? She started to tell me I interrupted her told her I had to pick a new Doctor. Told her politely your my new Doctor if it's cool, yes would be fine. I will like them know up front. Told Maria up front needed to pick a new Doctor, because Doctor Desai is gone "ok" getting to point to the Doctors photos. I want her the one that I just saw Amy! The lady's I have forgotten about front office Lady's, they are the Heart that keep's this practice running, everyone is irreplaceable. I was referred for (Surgery clearance) from another Dr. to come. When I went in I was amazed on how organized and professional the desk staff was. Even when I had my tele visit it was so organized. First call to collect co pay, few minutes later call to discuss vitals, then Dr came on. Such a stress free system! They are calm and show care! After my visit for just a consulation, I went to the front desk to make future appts. Consuela was awesome getting me my future appts for the tests I needed done. I'm forever grateful for her! My visits were with the P.A Nidi, she is so relaxed, caring & very knowledgeable. I had a treadmill stress test on one visit and came back for echo cardiogram they were all scheduled by Consuela after my first consultation day but for different days & all was good. This practice has now delayed my mom's surgery by 3 weeks because they keep wanting to schedule everything spaced out. They now want her to come back in 2 weeks to review her tests. 5 weeks delay ? Seriously???? One visit was just hi how are you doing? Come back in 2 weeks for an echocardiogram. If her heart is ok then sign off on it. We don't need another office visit!!! My PCP gave a direct referral to Inland Heart Doctors and I was told at the appointment desk someone would call and give me date and time for me to come in.. They never did call me back. Normally I'd prefer a virtual appointment but they said I was a first time patient and needed an in person. I had a heart attack follow lung surgery in February and the doctor asked me to follow up in six months. It took 3 weeks for an office call back. Once I scheduled the appointment l, a month out mind you, I didn't receive an email, a text or a voicemail reminder for my appointment. I called 3 hours before to confirm. They asked me to bring my medical ID. Great. Got it. When I got there they demanded my drivers license. They didn't mention this on the call or I would have explained my situation. I explained I had lost it two days ago, have a DMV temp and a picture of my license front and back on my phone. Still, they refused to see me. The manager, Anna, said it was for my own protection. She said she wanted to protect me from committing fraud. I was really upset. I make a very good living and took a half day for this appointment. My schedule as an executive does not permit me to be out of the office a lot. This was a huge inconvenience. No amount of credit cards or Costco IDs would work. She said my physical ID must be present. This made no sense considering they didn't tell me this when I called and I had mountains of identification- medical insurance cards, anthem login, social security card and my dmv temp available. I feel this is just a case of a front office staff with far too much power. Ana would not get he doctor. Who knows me since he saw me in the hospital for 3 days. Even when I pleaded. As someone who has been in the medical profession, I have never witnessed this. I recorded our conversation where she said she was preventing fraud because people make copies of IDs pretending to be other people. She had zero empathy for my case. She told me to reschedule and come back with a state issued physical ID. I won't be back. I'll find a new Cardiologist. I'll also follow up with a review for the doctor since he allows these practices in his office. Don't go here unless you like medical care with no heart or compassion. read more

My BP is always high and I take metroprol. My gynecologist advised me to schedule appointment with my PCP to see a cardiologist so I did. My pcp gave me a referral to Dr. Moscoco. I called yesterday to schedule appointment and the receptionist on the phone said the doctor feels my PCP can help me. Hmmm two doctors said I need to see a heart doctor but I'm turned away? I was shocked. Their office didn't even ask what problems I am having to warrant a referral to see them. My BP was 154/100 over the weekend which is common but it shouldn't be common. Guess I will keep treating myself with baby aspirin and metroprolol. Since COVID doctors are too busy and lost their compassion I think. Next time I feel like I'm having a heart attack I will just go to ER since doctors are too busy too help regulate people medicine I guess. If I can give this office a zero star I would. I've been having really bad palpitations and when I called to schedule an appointment they booked me a couple months out like if my medical care was no big deal. I agreed to the appointment and if things got worse then I'll go to ER. Fast forward, I went to my appointments, had testings done & was scheduled to get a stress test done, heart ultrasound & a 7 day heart monitor. Again, they booked me months out. When I went to my stress test appointment, the Dr said my test seems abnormal and wants to perform a Lexi scan for more in-depth results. And again I was scheduled far out. Days before my Lexi scan appointment the office called to remind me of my up coming appointment and so I confirmed however the testing was going to cost outta pocket $900 which I already had a balance of $600 in which I was going to make partial payments, so the office manager got on the phone and said my appointment that I've been waiting for needed to be rescheduled until July because of my balance. I was really disappointed on how this turned out, so I requested my medical records to be released to me and I'll just find another cardiologist. I cancelled all future appointments and said I was really disappointed how they handle my care. They do not care if my results were abnormal or something was really wrong with my heart. They were more concerned about getting their money. I don't know why they thought I was not going to pay. I was a new patient and I understand how PPO insurance works but they need to have more compassion on patients well being. I'm in the process of buying a home so no way I would want to have anything negative on my credit. Yes, I will pay my balance of $600 but I will never ever recommend anyone to this office. I work in healthcare and we don't turn anyone away just because they can't pay their copay. read more

They discriminate against people who buy qualified insurance through Covered California. They would not give me an appointment.

I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars. I have called 6 times over the course of nearly 3 weeks for an appointment. I've had a heart attack and they don't seem to find it important enough to return my calls. I can't get through to a real person. I've report this to Prime Care as well. My appointment time was changed without any advanced notice and I had to wait 1 1/2 hours in the waiting area. No explanation was given and was only told I am the next patient for the assigned doctor in the 3 times I followed up over at the desk. I wrote a more comprehensive review on Google, but I had a first rate experience with Inland Heart Doctors, they moved my appt up to the next morning to alleviate my concerns, Dr Ekkati is one of the most congenial MD's I've ever known (and I've seen dozens and dozens due to spinal damage). I was seen not 10 seconds after I filled out my paperwork, the doctor answered my many questions thoroughly and without being "preachy", she arranged all my tests and gave me medical advice along with a mild scrip until my tests are done..I could not be more satisfied with my visit! read more

the multiple times I have come to this doctors office the staff at the front desk have been very rude. Certain staff members that I have encountered are very unprofessional in the customer service department as well. Simple communication to patients and their caregivers along with clear direction is a struggle for the women at the front desk. during my last visit there, I had an office staff member see and hear me walking to her and the open door she was at (but since I am pregnant i unfortunately now walk a little slower these days) and she still tried to shut the door right in my face although she knew I was walking to it. I had to call out to her and ask her to please wait a moment as I'm was coming as well, she then acted like she didn't see and hear me and shut the door in my face. Professional to the max! The address is wrong. Correct: 2250 s main , b4 walgreens. They let me come in with a same day appointment as a new patient. And referral wasn't required. I new something was wrong and they weren't about to waste time. For my 2nd visit I was scheduled for a series of tests and was to take equipment home with me. I was very concerned about my out of pocket costs. A lady called me the immediate following morning with a breakdown of all fees and out of pocket percentage. They are completely on top of it. So I will say that the front desk is very personable,communicative and compassionate.My mom has been sick for 5 months now. She has been battling west nile, anxiety, now heart issues and well hence the reason why we are here. The back MA is rude, she said she would come back and get us when she was done with her vitals she never did. I didn't even mention she yelled at my sister in the lobby waiting area that only one person to the back with the patient. My mom was nervous her BP high and once she was roomed the MA told her to change and the doctor will be with her in a few mins, my mom asked for us her daughters and the MA left and said nothing. My sister told the front desk MA what was going on with my mom and she immediately let us go back with my mom. Dr Plascencia is a very nice, mild mannered and explained what we need to rule out he is a great doctor and is doing his due diligence to find out if my mom has a heart problem. Unfortunately sometimes there are bad apples on staff that maybe we're or are having a bad day and well it was wrong and made my mom nervous and her tremors came back. We will be back because of the Doctor and his front staff, however I hope someone talks to the little lady in the back office her attitude needs to change. read more
