Well we had to drive into the shop to inquire after never hearing from them. The BIGGEST issue was that they quoted us something that didn't pass our replace vs fix decision so we picked it back up. On a trip back to MN we got another opinion on the issue and it ended up being for about a third of the cost for a completely different part than we were told at this shop. Something's not right here.

Coming to a complete stop. Arm staying put down on the record. Took it into a guy 3 times before them to no avail, bought a new motor, new transistors, etc. Dropped it off to these guys and ran them through the scenario and after a couple of drop offs/pick ups they found the issue and it's been no problem ever since. I specifically asked him this, as I didn't want to dismantle everything and drive across town from 108th and Maple. I told him I didn't want to be "low balled" when I got there. Everything was in EXCELLENT condition except the FM reception on the preamp. He then said 500 is the best I can do. They may seem kind and generous when you're purchasing from them, but they are not ethical when purchasing from you.
