My daughters phone was smashed on Saturday in College Station. I picked the phone up and took it back to Houston. Several times in the past I have used different walk-in shops in Houston and always paid more than original quote and waited up to 4 days before able to pick up phone. It was a Netflix friday night, and my wife noticed her phone becoming extremely hot. The next thing we know the screen goes dim. This service is amazing! I can't believe I didn't know about it. We contacted them (through an easily navigated website) on Saturday Evening and got an appointment Sunday morning! They texted well ahead of time to confirm the appointment that was set between 10:00-11:00 AM. Raul, the service contractor said it would be around "10:05". Imagine my delighted surprise when the doorbell rang at 10:05 on the dot! Raul was personable and respectful from the introduction. My phone was fixed in less than twenty minutes. Perfect. I am so impressed with this company! It is easier with children to have someone come to me, so I scheduled an appointment. The time slot I requested online was unavailable, but someone called within 5 minutes to set up another time that worked for me (same day). After I scheduled the appointment, the tech Robert Lake kept me updated on his arrival time, as weather conditions were awful, and he came in and immediately got to work at my kitchen table! He was very friendly and professional, and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. I dropped my cell phone and shattered my screen to the point I would get shards on my fingers ever time I used it. I looked up puls, saw they came to you with a decent price so i set up an appointment! They gave me a $20 discount bc they first weren't able to make my first appointment that I had made an hour and half before closing. Then when peng came to my home the next day, after the screen was fixed it, it was discovered during the test phase that my camera and speaker weren't working properly. Peng was able to come the next day with new parts and fixed it right away! Great company! They even checked on my phone and i the next day. I was able to choose a time at my convenience right on the website, and you're not required to pay until after the repair is complete. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The technician they sent was unprofessional and misdiagnosed the issue--he claimed there was a leak and that it was the cause of the problem. I called a licensed plumber afterward who confirmed that there was no leak at all. On top of that, the pricing felt like a bait-and-switch. They advertise one rate online, but once the service starts, the cost jumps significantly without clear explanation. It felt misleading and borderline scammy. This company is AWESOME! I cracked my phone yesterday and it was so messed up that i wasn't able to use it at all because it had all these colorful vertical lines all over it and black spots.
