There was an appetizer that I had never heard of or tried before, so I wanted to try it (similar to a pani puri). I was ordering for takeout, but they said if I wanted this I really should eat it in house immediately because the shell would get soggy and not be as good. I appreciate the tip because I would not have otherwise known that. And I am so glad I ordered it because it was delicious! The combination of the sauces with the shell and contents was a flavor blast. Definitely something I will order again. For the bowl, I did a build your own. They also have pre-designed bowls that might help if you are feeling overwhelmed with the choices. I made mine with white rice, paneer tikka, tiki masala sauce and several of the toppings. The portions were generous and they answered my questions about ingredients and let me sample sauces while I was making my decisions. When I thought about adding something that sounded good, they advised me against it saying it wouldn't work together with what I had already put in (but weren't pushy about it). I appreciated the feedback. The bowl was delicious and filling. I enjoyed every single bite and it was the kind of meal where I was actually sad when it was gone because I enjoyed it that much. I'm not in the Robinson area that often, but I would definitely come back any time I'm around.

One of the biggest reasons we chose it was because they advertised a dog-friendly patio. Before being seated, my husband specifically went inside to speak with the hostess because rain was expected soon. The hostess acknowledged the forecast, and my husband said we were completely fine sitting under the patio umbrellas as long as the restaurant was okay serving us outside. She assured us that it was not a problem. We were seated on the patio and intentionally looked through the menu quickly because we wanted to minimize the server having to come outside in the rain. When the server came out, she immediately commented about the weather and was clearly upset about having to serve the patio. We were sympathetic and tried to be as easygoing as possible. What happened next was honestly bizarre. She pulled out her notepad and just stared down at it without saying a word. We ordered drinks and then sat there in silence waiting for any kind of acknowledgment or follow-up like, "What would you like to eat?" After about 15 awkward seconds, she finally looked up visibly irritated. I ordered, she wrote it down without saying anything else, and then stormed back inside. At that point, we decided we no longer felt welcome. We brought the waters back inside and told her she could cancel the order. Her response was simply, "Are you sure?" The entire interaction consisted of maybe six words total from our server. We later called to let the manager know what happened. While they did apologize, the only solution offered was for us to place a to-go order instead. That completely missed the point. We weren't looking for free food or special treatment -- we just expected basic hospitality after being explicitly told they were happy to serve the patio despite the weather. This entire situation could have been avoided if the restaurant had simply told us upfront that patio service during the rain was an issue.

Why are Italians just better at all foods? First - they…read moreowned pasta. Then - they owned pizza. Now, Italian Street Food may just be the best too!! We were coming home from the Pittsburgh Airport and the convenience of the Robinson area is unmatched. Luckily my wife thought of Piada and well... now it may be our airport trip go to! The fresh ingredients, the made to order meat options, and the efficiency of the handcrafted food... Piada is what all other "fast" foods wish they could be! We both ordered an Avocado Rolled Piada with Crispy Chicken and fountain drinks. I tacked on a Spinach Artichoke Piada Stick as well. The process of watching them create the rolled piadas is artistry. The dash of oil and spices, the attention to spread out the toppings instead of just dumping them in the middle, my wife even asked for less tomatoes from the corn mixture... and the employee did the best to separate them out. The food is AMAZING!! The toppings were all fresh and crisp, the chicken was juicy and hot, and the piada was perfectly constructed. The new Spinach Artichoke was like having a constructed spinach artichoke dip. No need to dip though... just take a bite of this delicious wrap! Even the fountain drinks were a pleasant surprise with multiple fresh brewed teas to select! The store is very modern and clean with cute Italian Street decor and plenty of options to sit from bar tops, regular tables, high top tables! They really aim to make the dine in experience worth your while too!
