The response was, "Looks like the paper we cook bread sticks on. I'll have to talk to somebody about that." Shortly afterward, the host came over and said he would need to get a manager. A manager never came. Nobody explained what had happened. Nobody offered any kind of apology or resolution. There was simply no follow-up whatsoever. On top of that, the service was extremely slow, which made the entire experience even more frustrating. We were there to celebrate our anniversary with our family, and instead of feeling like our experience mattered, we felt completely overlooked. Mistakes can happen in a restaurant. Finding something foreign in your food is obviously concerning, but what was even more disappointing was the complete lack of response and accountability afterward. When a customer has an issue like this, especially during a special occasion, I would expect someone from management to at least come to the table, acknowledge the concern, apologize, and make an effort to address it. Unfortunately, none of that happened. What should have been a nice anniversary dinner ended up being a very sad and disappointing experience.
