The staff was helpful in explaining the customization options. Prices are reasonable for the smoothie sizes.

Title: Kale Kapow? More Like Kale Betrayal…read more I just broke a 3-DAY FAST with your Large Kale Kapow... and I'm honestly offended on a cellular level. This thing had ZERO pineapple juice. ZERO pineapple sorbet. ZERO mango. What it did have was kale, water, and the unmistakable taste of regret. No sweetness. No balance. No "kapow." Just kale dirt water -- like someone rinsed a lawnmower bag into a cup and charged me for it. And let me be clear: when you've fasted for three days, your taste buds are basically enlightened monks. They can detect truth. This was not a "maybe it's subtle" situation. This was ingredients missing. Not "light on." Absent. If I wanted to punish myself with chlorophyll sadness, I would've done it at home for free. I've had this smoothie before. I know what it's supposed to taste like. This was either: * A mistake no one cared to fix * Or a bold new recipe called "We Ran Out and Hoped You Wouldn't Notice" Spoiler: I noticed. Immediately. Spiritually. Emotionally. Breaking a fast is supposed to feel restorative. This felt like betrayal with a straw. Please do better -- because right now this review has more flavor than that smoothie did.

Friendly service, well priced and made to order with organic ingredients and Rising Star coffee,…read morethe perfect combination in the suburbs. We did a long run and wanted a quick breakfast afterwards without feeling like crap, Yelp to the rescue...so we stopped in the nourishing nook for a quick bite and caffeine hit. The menu was simple, offering a combination of breakfast and lunch options with juices and plenty of caffeine. We opted for breakfast basics, the avocado toast was a big serving, perfectly ripe avocados with a hint of lemon, delicious. My husband loved the maple sausage egg sandwich with cheese. Now on to the star, the chai was fantastic hot and spicy and the coffees, even got it to go, were fresh ground and made to order. If you need to host an event, they event have a gathering room in the back of the cafe. My only downside is when food is being prepared and gloves are worn on both hands, you are still touching every surface, utensils, toasters etc and my food...one glove and use the free hand to touch everything else.

Read the pros and cons:…read more Pros: the place is very clean and organized and the staff is very friendly and coffee tastes normal I just with the specialty coffees were more tasty and sweet Cons: we were second in line and our order of only 4 people took 40 minutes. 2 americanos took 30 minutes and 2 specialty coffees tool 40 minutes. I believe they need more training and supervision for faster production rate. Otherwise would revisit and have them expedite my order.

I feel like I need to start by saying that this is not a smoothie joint. There are no fresh fruits…read moreor veggies that they're blending into drinks. If your idea of nutrition is natural, whole foods, then this place isn't for you. They have protein shakes and energy drinks, which they call "teas" even though I'm pretty sure there is no tea in them. I regularly consume protein powder and caffeinated beverages, so this was a delicious treat. I've tried their cherry chocolate and lemon pound cake protein shakes, and they were both super tasty. There was a little chalkiness from the protein, but overall great flavor. I can't even tell you what kind of "tea" I tried because their flavors are always changing, but they were sweet and very easy to drink. Apparently there are no added sugars and the sweetness is from fruit juice, which I guess I believe, but I'm not sure how "starbursts" and "skittles" flavors can be added to the drink without any sugar or artificial sugar. I will say, besides the fact that it was almost questionably over-sweet, it didn't taste artificial or like sugar alcohols. The reason I docked this cute place a star is because the process of ordering and their menu is so confusing. I swear I talked to the employee (who was very nice) for half an hour and I'm still confused about some things. There is no menu and no prices anywhere. There is a list of protein shake flavors, but the employee had to verbally tell me the tea flavors which got very confusing when there are 6+ flavors and boosters in each tea. You also have to apparently order a tea and a shake? I understand that they complement each other, but I didn't feel like I had the option of only ordering one. Since there was no price associated with anything, I don't know if one drink is cheaper than the other. Also, I wish they were more transparent with what is in their drinks. Most healthy drink places have a menu with the drinks listed along with every ingredient in each drink. I have no idea how many calories are in each drink, just that there is 24g of protein in the shakes. I don't know what kinds of dairy products they're using in the shakes or what kinds of syrups they're using in the teas. All I'd need is a detailed menu with ingredients, calories, and prices and this place would be 5 stars for me!
