Went to Panini's after calling ahead to check on gluten-free options, since I wasn't familiar with the restaurant or the area. The staff was friendly and confirmed they offer both gluten-free bread and gluten-free pizza, which was a great start. I ordered their famous sandwich italian style on the gluten-free bread, and it was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the gluten-free bread crumbled a bit, which made it a little messy to eat. They had quite a few TVs to watch the Cavs, which was a surprise as my nephew was performing at pregame. Ambience was a hit for that alone. Recommend for a casual bite and watching games. read more

Well we waited 40 minutes for our meal and it was cold. No apology. No one ever checked in. After we got our food nobody refilled drinks or cleared the table. It's not even that busy. I think it's pathetic. Anyway, we won't be back cause I'm sick and tired of the tragic service here. They should be ashamed.! read more

I believe that this restaurant has a racist environment. I'm a Black person that didn't feel welcomed by the female White Bar Attendant. After I sat down, I was ignored as if I was invisible! Attendant side-eyed me and went to give her service to a White couple that had arrived after me. I spoke to the Manager and he apologized for his employee's behavior. After I received my carry-out order, I told the Manager that I wouldn't be returning to his restaurant. read more

Food was great! The server was great, and the place was just fine. Place was noisy, but it's because of a happy place with good food. Who am I to complain. read more

I ordered a crispy buffalo wrap and onion rings to go. What I got was o ion rings that were double or triple cooked. The onions were dried up to the point of no return. What a disappointment. When you order to go you don't know what your food looks like until you get it home, or if you even have the correct order. I will not be eating there again. read more

Panini's Bar and Grill - Overdone onion rings - American Near Me - Brunswick, Ohio

Visited Panini's again on a recent visit to Brunswick. On this visit, we didn't request an appetizer. For dinner, I requested a pastrami and turkey sandwich, my son requested a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, and my wife requested wings and onion rings. In no time at all, our food was delivered. Our server suggested that I get the bread toasted, so I did. She was fast and efficient. My sammich was smaller than the ones I've received in the past. But that was okay because I don't think I would've been able to finish it otherwise. It was warm and very flavorful. The pastrami created a nice flavor contrast with the turkey. The fries and slaw on the sandwich provided additional flavor and texture contrast. The sandwich was terrific and very filling. The fries were good too. My son and my wife made their meals disappear as well. We noted that this meal was better than all of our other meals at this location. Keeping that in mind, we'll be more likely to return. read more

Service was good. However it has been a few years since we last ate there and the food quality as well as the presentation really went down. I ordered potato skins and they came out as two very small Sized potatoes with barely any cheese and bacon fat, not bacon. The sour cream was definitely low-cal. The dishes were plastic. My husband's quesadillas were greasy and the chicken was not white meat. The restaurant itself hasn't been updated in at least 20 years. They still had Cleveland Indians mascot Chief Wahoo statues displayed (they changed their names to Guardians three years ago after charges of racism for the Native American characature) We think we'll skip it all next time. read more

Had a meal here on New Years Eve. Food was pretty good! Had the Hot chicken sandwich with fries. Everything else was just the standard experience you get at practically every sports bar in the area. Tons of TV's on the wall, so this would be a good place to watch the game! Service was friendly! It's a good place, but nothing special to demand a return visit. read more

This is a pretty good restaurant. Their pizza is delicious and the service is good, overall 8/10 (4.0 stars) (my review from Google Maps)

The waiter was extremely slow to get to the table, pizza was doughy and they didn't give me red pepper.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago and the food was half the size it was 3 years ago. The waitress was nice but the food is nothing to write home about. Price of food went up and amount of food went down. If the food was good and more of it I might be willing to pay the price but what they have. Not worth price to eat at Panini's read more

Came in on a Wednesday evening. Half of their beers were either not functioning or they were out. We ordered 3 entrees. A BLT and fries, a pepperoni pizza, and the daily special of a Reuben quesadilla. The first two were fine, I won't complain about them, however the quesadilla came out with almost ZERO filling, and the tortilla wasn't even grilled. Spoke to the manager whose name was Josh. Told him about my dissatisfaction and then the arrogant putz copped an attitude and started in in me about if I didn't like it that was too bad because that's how they did it and I don't have to eat it. So I sent it back. This place has really gone down hill. If you can go somewhere else, go there instead, this place has hit rock bottom. On a positive note, our server was EXCELLENT! Mallory was awesome! read more

I love this place and come here offer, but the last time I had a hair in my burger and they charged me full price. I had maybe 3 bites.

They got us in and seated during a OSU football game. We ordered and the waitress was amazing. Super efficient and our food came out fast and hot. They had a great beer selection. We love IPAs. If you haven't ordered a panini and panini's you are missing out! read more

I don't know what it is but we love Panini's pizza'. When we first moved to Brunswick liked Antonios the best over Marcos, who we ordered from in Florida. I love the pepperoni that Antonios uses. Latley it's Paninis over all! read more

We had a rehearsal dinner at this panini's last week. Communication from managers over the month was fantastic! Steve, josh, and Jason were so attentive and great in covering our needs! Jason was our personal server for the night and made sure we had everything we needed, he even suggested we all get together so he could take a group photo of everyone. Food was fresh and delicious. We had a buffet that was more beautiful than I expected for a sports bar, black table cloths, silver chafing dishes, and attractive melamine dishes that looked like they came from pottery barn. Highly recommend panini's for your personal events!!! read more

We stopped at Panini's for lunch after a morning of golf. Because it was a nice fall day, we sat on their patio, near the bar. We were waited on by Chrissy, who was doing double duty as a waitress and bartender. She was very nice and provided excellent service. We ordered Long Island Ice Teas, on special on Thursdays for $3.50. They were great! I had a small pizza with salad and my wife had their reuben sandwich. Both were very good. Pizza is best when you get it right out of the oven and this one did not disappoint! The reuben was also heaped with corned beef and was real good. Overall, it was a real nice afternoon lunch at the Brunswick Panini's....we will be back! read more

I have been here a handful of time and every time I am completely satisfied! Dining in- the perfect place to meet up with family or friends. Especially if there is a game on! Their menu has something for everyone! Take out- The food comes out quickly and is an easy process. Food portions are large and set at the right price! My personal favorite is their hot Italian sandwich with sweet potato fries. They have the best sweet potato fries around!!! read more

Excellent service and food but what went even beyond that was the table they had set with 13 beers and USA bunting for our US service members (11 Marines, 1 Army soldier and 1 Navy corpsman) who were killed in Afghanistan. Kudos to you Panini's for recognizing those who gave all. read more

This is a review of the PEOPLE that work at this Panini's. My brother and I were meeting for lunch and he was late, which isn't normal. Someone came in and asked me if I was "his sister", and told me he fell in the parking lot. I ran out there, and behind me was the manager, my waitress, and the hostess. They brought bandages, gatorade (it was hot day), and ice and a wet rag for his wounds. I applaud all of them! And they wouldn't leave until they knew he could get up and all would be okay. I did go back and have their Turkey Club rap and fries, and it was delicious. Oh and my brother if okay, so all is good. They were the nicest, kindest people!! We will be back! read more

Poor food and service. Completely over rated. Lots of lights and frills, no substance.

Came in on New Year's Eve for lunch with my daughter. Got seated immediately and had a server in no time. I really had wanted to go for Mexican food, but the daughter choose here, so I had to have a margarita. Asked if they had any 'special' or 'jazzed up' margaritas, no, so I asked for their house with an extra shot of Cuervo 1800 in it. My daughter got a fuzzy navel (never had it before) which brought back memories for me from 30 years ago. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and the Hot Sicilian (2 hamburgers with grill pastrami, lettuce, tomato onion cheese on a grilled hoagie roll with Italian dressing on the side) with a side of onion rings. The sandwiches were good, but the fries were cold and the onion rings something they bought from GFS, or so it seemed. The waitress was very attentive. Dropped in twice while we were eating, had our food and drinks on the table quickly, and had me a check lickity split. They also have a way cool, super big, sports ticker spanning the windows for the outside bar. The food was 3 stars, but the service pulled it up to 4. read more

I love panini's over stuffed sandwiches. The first one I had was at Cleveland Hopkins airport and from then on, I stop at a paninis when I can. Panini's Bar and Grill - Turkey overstuffed. - American Near Me - Brunswick, Ohio

This place is pretty consistent. Good food and good service. One thing I do not like is when you order the appetizers with the chips and different dips, they put the dip in these trays and they over cook them. Not worth the money in my opinion. I would recommend going back to the old way. They did change the menu with price increases. I do not really recommend the breakfast buffet. It's okay but the omelets could be bigger. I came in today with my family. Our server was Laura. She was kind of rude and not very pleasant. My parents had asked her questions and she responded with attitude. She messed up my dad and I order. Ordered panini's, the both of us and they came with no fries on the sandwich. When the sandwiches were fixed they came back with 4 fries in the sandwiches, no joke. Very disappointed this time around. Both in service and quality. read more

Service was slow. Food came out cold. Onion rings were over cooked. Had to flag waitress to beg for beers. Still gave 20% cuz I don't want them to close but come on! I've been coming to this place for years. Never in my life have I had as amazing of an experience as I did today. Paninis hired a new bartender named Francesco. What a phenomenal bartender, but even more so, a phenomenal man. Thank you so much Francesco!! Will be back read more

Ate here today and left half our food on the plate. The fries were TERRIBLE, dark, greasy and Cold. The bread on the sandwich was hard and I asked for it to be toasted but it came with butter on it but Not toasted! We were a group of four and we left disappointed and hungry. So sad. read more

I brought my girls here tonight for a late dinner. We arrived at about 8:45pm and there were only a few tables occupied in the dining area. Our server, Kristi, came to take drink orders right away. After a few more minutes, she came back for our food orders. I got a salami panini, my girls got wings with fries, a kid's cheese burger with fries, and pulled pork tacos with fries Kristi was very attentive while we waited, kept our drinks filled and kept us posted about the wait with the food. After about 45 minutes, the pulled pork tacos came out. Glad she didn't wait to bring them out when the rest of our food was done, because it took another 15 minutes for everything else. Unfortunately, my panini was terrible. The salami was so burnt it was inedible. I did try a bite, because I don't mind when the edges are crispy, but this was honestly BLACKENED. I thought I'd just pick at the fries and coleslaw while I waited for Kristi to stop by again, but there was barely any coleslaw and the fries were so salty I was wiping them off just so I could eat something. When Kristi came back, I explained to her the problem. She was extremely apologetic (although it was not her fault) and said she would take it to show the manager. She offered to have it remade, or for me to order something else, but it I didn't want to go thru another long wait so I politely declined. My meal ended up being comped. My girls enjoyed their meals, except their fries were also WAY over-salted/seasoned. When she brought our check, she also brought a to-go container with chips and queso, explaining how she felt so bad about my meal and at least wanted to send me home with a snack...which was so super nice of her and much appreciated :) I cannot say enough about the outstanding service tonight! That being said, please understand that I'm leaving a 2 star review only for the fact I waited about an hour for an inedible meal. Not sure what the cook was thinking sending that out. Thank goodness they have such excellent staff, or I might not consider giving them another chance. read more

My boyfriend picked where we were going for dinner tonight...this was his choice. We were seated inside (this place is loaded with TV's and tons of sports on). This place has an outdoor bar also with tvs. The place was not overly crowded at 5 pm. Granted it was Sunday and rainy. I ordered the turkey stack. I thought that the meat was really good, but the sandwich does need an aioli to give it more flavor. The meal came with a side and I got the chips. My boyfriend ordered the Italian panini sandwich (the one with fries on it). He said he loved the sandwich and recommends it. He also ordered a side of pierogi's. Unfortunately the pierogi's were not homemade (looked like grocery store frozen brand). He's polish and pierogi's are kinda his spirit animal...so he was bummed. Overall I would try this place again. read more

Decent service but the food was not the best. Come here expecting average bar food. It used to be much better0

Been coming to this place ever since I moved to Ohio from California. Personally, the food is consistent and good, the staff is friendly and learn peoples names which is always a plus. While I cannot speak to other peoples experiences, I will say that on the rare occasion I have had a not up to snuff experience here, it was quickly back up to standards by the time I was back. Personally, I wish they had more sour beers but most places don't keep any sour beer at all so not really a complaint just a wishlist haha. Remember everyone, restaurants are still trying to get out of Covid and staffing issues so show some patience, have a cold drink (alcoholic or not), and smile. It goes a long way towards keeping everyone happy or at the very least civil. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch after seeing the restaurant on yelp. Walking in the restaurant looks okay, but the service was okay. Not only does this place make me feel nostalgic, but it also has some good food to offer! They have good beer, good burgers, and really good chicken strips with Fries! Their fries are hand cut and some of my favorite and the burgers are awesome too! They don't have the highest quality food and it's not the fanciest place but I know that they have good chicken fingers, paninis, fries, and burgers NO DOUBT! Also delicious pizza and wraps! I actually don't think I've been disappointed coming here ! It's in my hometown and now it's my favorite drinking spot AND always eating spot but it's a lot of fun being able to do both now! I like this place a lot and has a nice cozy atmosphere with good food! read more
