Visited Panini's again on a recent visit to Brunswick. On this visit, we didn't request an appetizer. For dinner, I requested a pastrami and turkey sandwich, my son requested a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, and my wife requested wings and onion rings. In no time at all, our food was delivered. Our server suggested that I get the bread toasted, so I did. She was fast and efficient. My sammich was smaller than the ones I've received in the past. But that was okay because I don't think I would've been able to finish it otherwise. It was warm and very flavorful. The pastrami created a nice flavor contrast with the turkey. The fries and slaw on the sandwich provided additional flavor and texture contrast. The sandwich was terrific and very filling. The fries were good too. My son and my wife made their meals disappear as well. We noted that this meal was better than all of our other meals at this location. Service was good. However it has been a few years since we last ate there and the food quality as well as the presentation really went down. I ordered potato skins and they came out as two very small Sized potatoes with barely any cheese and bacon fat, not bacon. The sour cream was definitely low-cal. The dishes were plastic. My husband's quesadillas were greasy and the chicken was not white meat. Came in on a Wednesday evening. Half of their beers were either not functioning or they were out. We ordered 3 entrees. A BLT and fries, a pepperoni pizza, and the daily special of a Reuben quesadilla. The first two were fine, I won't complain about them, however the quesadilla came out with almost ZERO filling, and the tortilla wasn't even grilled. Spoke to the manager whose name was Josh. Told him about my dissatisfaction and then the arrogant putz copped an attitude and started in in me about if I didn't like it that was too bad because that's how they did it and I don't have to eat it. So I sent it back. This place has really gone down hill. If you can go somewhere else, go there instead, this place has hit rock bottom. On a positive note, our server was EXCELLENT! We had a rehearsal dinner at this panini's last week. Communication from managers over the month was fantastic! Steve, josh, and Jason were so attentive and great in covering our needs! Jason was our personal server for the night and made sure we had everything we needed, he even suggested we all get together so he could take a group photo of everyone. Food was fresh and delicious. We had a buffet that was more beautiful than I expected for a sports bar, black table cloths, silver chafing dishes, and attractive melamine dishes that looked like they came from pottery barn. We stopped at Panini's for lunch after a morning of golf. Because it was a nice fall day, we sat on their patio, near the bar. We were waited on by Chrissy, who was doing double duty as a waitress and bartender. She was very nice and provided excellent service. We ordered Long Island Ice Teas, on special on Thursdays for $3.50. They were great! I had a small pizza with salad and my wife had their reuben sandwich. Both were very good. Pizza is best when you get it right out of the oven and this one did not disappoint! The reuben was also heaped with corned beef and was real good. This is a review of the PEOPLE that work at this Panini's. My brother and I were meeting for lunch and he was late, which isn't normal. Someone came in and asked me if I was "his sister", and told me he fell in the parking lot. I ran out there, and behind me was the manager, my waitress, and the hostess. They brought bandages, gatorade (it was hot day), and ice and a wet rag for his wounds. I applaud all of them! And they wouldn't leave until they knew he could get up and all would be okay. I did go back and have their Turkey Club rap and fries, and it was delicious. Oh and my brother if okay, so all is good. They were the nicest, kindest people!! We will be back! read more

Came in on New Year's Eve for lunch with my daughter. Got seated immediately and had a server in no time. I really had wanted to go for Mexican food, but the daughter choose here, so I had to have a margarita. Asked if they had any 'special' or 'jazzed up' margaritas, no, so I asked for their house with an extra shot of Cuervo 1800 in it. My daughter got a fuzzy navel (never had it before) which brought back memories for me from 30 years ago. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and the Hot Sicilian (2 hamburgers with grill pastrami, lettuce, tomato onion cheese on a grilled hoagie roll with Italian dressing on the side) with a side of onion rings. One thing I do not like is when you order the appetizers with the chips and different dips, they put the dip in these trays and they over cook them. Not worth the money in my opinion. I would recommend going back to the old way. They did change the menu with price increases. I do not really recommend the breakfast buffet. It's okay but the omelets could be bigger. I came in today with my family. Our server was Laura. She was kind of rude and not very pleasant. My parents had asked her questions and she responded with attitude. She messed up my dad and I order. I brought my girls here tonight for a late dinner. We arrived at about 8:45pm and there were only a few tables occupied in the dining area. Our server, Kristi, came to take drink orders right away. After a few more minutes, she came back for our food orders. I got a salami panini, my girls got wings with fries, a kid's cheese burger with fries, and pulled pork tacos with fries Kristi was very attentive while we waited, kept our drinks filled and kept us posted about the wait with the food. After about 45 minutes, the pulled pork tacos came out. Glad she didn't wait to bring them out when the rest of our food was done, because it took another 15 minutes for everything else. Unfortunately, my panini was terrible. The salami was so burnt it was inedible. I did try a bite, because I don't mind when the edges are crispy, but this was honestly BLACKENED. I thought I'd just pick at the fries and coleslaw while I waited for Kristi to stop by again, but there was barely any coleslaw and the fries were so salty I was wiping them off just so I could eat something. When Kristi came back, I explained to her the problem. She was extremely apologetic (although it was not her fault) and said she would take it to show the manager. She offered to have it remade, or for me to order something else, but it I didn't want to go thru another long wait so I politely declined. My meal ended up being comped. My girls enjoyed their meals, except their fries were also WAY over-salted/seasoned. When she brought our check, she also brought a to-go container with chips and queso, explaining how she felt so bad about my meal and at least wanted to send me home with a snack...which was so super nice of her and much appreciated :) I cannot say enough about the outstanding service tonight! That being said, please understand that I'm leaving a 2 star review only for the fact I waited about an hour for an inedible meal. Not sure what the cook was thinking sending that out. My boyfriend picked where we were going for dinner tonight...this was his choice. We were seated inside (this place is loaded with TV's and tons of sports on). This place has an outdoor bar also with tvs. The place was not overly crowded at 5 pm. Granted it was Sunday and rainy. I ordered the turkey stack. I thought that the meat was really good, but the sandwich does need an aioli to give it more flavor. The meal came with a side and I got the chips. My boyfriend ordered the Italian panini sandwich (the one with fries on it). He said he loved the sandwich and recommends it. He also ordered a side of pierogi's. Unfortunately the pierogi's were not homemade (looked like grocery store frozen brand). He's polish and pierogi's are kinda his spirit animal...so he was bummed. Been coming to this place ever since I moved to Ohio from California. Personally, the food is consistent and good, the staff is friendly and learn peoples names which is always a plus. While I cannot speak to other peoples experiences, I will say that on the rare occasion I have had a not up to snuff experience here, it was quickly back up to standards by the time I was back. Personally, I wish they had more sour beers but most places don't keep any sour beer at all so not really a complaint just a wishlist haha. Remember everyone, restaurants are still trying to get out of Covid and staffing issues so show some patience, have a cold drink (alcoholic or not), and smile. It goes a long way towards keeping everyone happy or at the very least civil. read more

Not only does this place make me feel nostalgic, but it also has some good food to offer! They have good beer, good burgers, and really good chicken strips with Fries! Their fries are hand cut and some of my favorite and the burgers are awesome too! They don't have the highest quality food and it's not the fanciest place but I know that they have good chicken fingers, paninis, fries, and burgers NO DOUBT! Also delicious pizza and wraps! I actually don't think I've been disappointed coming here ! It's in my hometown and now it's my favorite drinking spot AND always eating spot but it's a lot of fun being able to do both now! Our food was really good and our waiter was pretty decent. When we went, it was early, so not a lot of people. We've only eaten here once, but I'd definitely recommend it. I got the Reuben, which was huge and the fries were really good. My son lived looking at the games and the TVs.
