There is no sign outside of the bakery, it took us a while to find it. Japanese bread tends to be soft and less sugary which we love very much. The sandwiches are very yummy, and the cream puff is a plus. We definitely would like to go back to try more. read more

I had the custard bun and the strawberry fruit sando. They were both ok. The bread was dry on both, but the filling was great. It was really expensive for what you get. The service was friendly and the gentleman was informative about the selections and such. There was not much of a variety here. This could be because I went in at 7:00 PM, but since they are open 24 hours I didn't expect this. I am undecided about this place. It's still new so I'll give another chance, but my first visit was disappointing. As others say, go early. When we were there there was almost nothing (literally) in stock. I purchased a mixed pack of sandwiches - I believe they were $8 or $9. In this pack you get the 3 sandwich types (two pieces of each flavor, equivalent to a half sandwich with crusts cut off). The sandwiches were VERY thin. The ham sandwich was the thinnest - literally 1 thin slice of ham, 1 lettuce leaf, and Mayo. I think $9.00 was very pricey for what you get - these aren't the Sandos you get in Japanese convenience stores, that's for sure. The loaf of Shokupan was great but wish they offered slicing. read more

Food is good but it does NOT out weigh the fact that the cashier this time around was terrible. I went here Wednesday, May 22nd at around 9:20 p.m. and the girl working the front that time, she had glasses, peircings and was definitely Filipino. I think the customer she was serving before me and my boyfriend was her friend because she did not stop talking! She was talking so loud about things that should not be talked about while working a cashier job. It took her 15 minutes to get to us. There was a line too but that didn't seem to bother her. There is no doubt that Pullman Bread gives a unique, authentic, and fully enjoyable experience when looking for delicious fresh Japanese breads & sweets. I've enjoyed everything I've picked up from here in my few visits. It is out of the way from where I live and still a bit out of the way from where I work, but it is 100% worth it everytime. They not only carry traditional items but also put their own twist on a variety of items throughout the year. The customer service has been excellent each visit. I only have one concern from my most recent visit. The warm buns that they used to serve are now fried to order (I was informed that the warmer is no longer used), which initially sounded amazing to me! Especially since I missed out on some items before because they sell out so fast. Fresh hot curry bun? Yes please. However, from the second bite I could tell that the inside was still a bit doughy and by the time I got into the filling, it was still very chilled. The frying created a really great crispy and hot shell, but the inside was not warmed all the way through. The cheese cube inside the Covid-19 bun was still cold and the beef chunk inside was also very cold. I don't hold this against them because I know they are trying something new, but definitely wanted to make sure to share this in case they may take it into consideration. The bun was delicious but I needed to go home and heat it at home. Definitely give this place a try if you are considering it, though! You lvery likely won't be disappointed. read more

Awww, I've been reading about this place and was excited to try. We really wanted to like this place. We tried to convince ourselves. They had a small selection and we choose blindly. They were patient watching us pick, however, when people started to show up, the staff became pop stars all of a sudden and were helpful and were very informative to the guests that came after us. We drove all that way to try this place so we weren't leaving empty handed. Was it worth it? If your around the area, sure. They have a few good places around there too so that could be an alternative. Sometimes when you go in places and you leave feeling a little let down, the food may not be as tasty. The bread is light a fluffy, we tried a few different sandwiches. High my recommend the tuna & the strawberry one. The fresh whipped cream on the sandwich is light & not super sweet . If you have a large appetite I would recommend getting a few different sandwiches to fill you up . The matcha chiffon & strawberry shortcake were also very good , light and not super sweet. I visited pullman bread and I bought a bunch of stuff for the road back home to share with my friends. I spent over 100$ and they told me they would make sure I had 4 pastries hot out the oven and some bread since I was buying large amounts of things. I ended up not noticing it but I paid in advance and they held my bags for me while I went next door and I never got all my pastries. I'm now back home and dont have a receipt to call and let them know. The lady who helped me was very nice and we talked while she rang me up shes very easily approachable. I do have to say the bread is very soft some of the softest bread I've ever had and the sandwiches are great. I guess I'm just not used to egg salad sandwhich that doesnt have salt and loads of seasonings lol. I did try the salmon sandwhich and cucumber one and it was great!
