Omg!!! Had to return because the food is so ono. Looking for a delicious Loco Moco, Kanani's Cafe had got to be the best Loco Moco in Vegas. The meat is seasoned well and the gravy has a lot of flavor. Tupac says it's the BEST he's ever had. We added mushrooms and onions which was perfect however, I would recommend to keep the onions big instead of cutting it small. The mushrooms were yummy. Service is always awesome and the Mochi pancakes is always a hit. Not sweet but so good. Stop by and give them a try.

From the moment you step into Kanani's, you're instantly transported home to Hawaii. Kanani, a warm and caring waitress, and her husband Rob, the chef behind and in-front of the scenes literally are clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in every aspect of this place. I've had the pleasure of visiting three times within just two months. As coffee lovers, my girlfriend and I are always on the lookout for good brews, and I must say, their coffee is good. It reminds me of the coffee my mom used to make, bringing back fond memories. The food here is Ono--delicious. I'm pretty simple when it comes to breakfast, spam eggs and rice are my go-to. But I have to highlight that their spam is cooked to perfection. Yes, it's just spam, but when your Mexican girlfriend, who's not typically a Hawaiian food eater, craves spam, eggs and rice in the middle of the week, you know they're doing something right. I love my eggs over easy, and at Kanani's, they always come out perfectly. As a breakfast cook myself, I know how tricky it can be to master that, so big kudos to the kitchen team. I also appreciate the open kitchen layout, there's something special about hearing and smelling the cooking process that adds an intimate vibe. The butter mochi is fantastic Kanani recommends enjoying it without syrup which I agree with, it's delicious on its own. During my second visit, I opted for the Portagee Benedict, and the hollandaise was sooo creamy and flavorful. Service has been consistently attentive and friendly. While the dining space is small and cozy, I think it's just the right size. They also offer bar-style seating, which is perfect if you're dining solo--like when I came one day to read my Bible and enjoy peaceful breakfast. I gotta try their lunch items next time for sure! God bless this wonderful restaurant. I pray for their success because they are truly bringing a piece of Hawaii to the mainland.

The restaurant is a narrow space with a cute Hawaiian mural. The staff were very friendly and so welcoming. They were gracious in helping with the food selection. We ordered various dishes. It was a mom and son date out so the boys got beautiful French toasts and also the loco moco. No complaints and full belly's. The moms enjoyed various eggs like the Kalua pig eggs Benedict and omelette as well as the pineapple sausage scramble. We also shared a delicious mochi pancake that is amazing & didn't need a syrup. Overall, we will definitely be returning to enjoy the food and you should try it too.

Da BOMB food! Everything was sooooo ono! Our favorite was the mochi and malasada hotcakes. And to know Kanani is homegrown Makaha/Wai'anae girl, even bettah! Yesssuh! You can't get any closer to home. When you're in Southwest Las Vegas, eating here is a MUST!

Where to begin: located in a strip mall in the heart of Spring Valley on S Rainbow BLVD. All the food is delicious, I suggest you order plates and share. The malasada and mochi pancakes are HUGE.

Ok so wish I was able to sit inside and enjoy kanani's cafe but this was a pickup and go since my parents needed to go to the airport. Got the kalua pork benedict for my mom and got the mochi pancakes for myself. Let me say the pancakes were so light, but filled me up. Also the staff that I got to interact with quickly were kind to me, as well as everyone that showed up. Can't wait to stop and get the full experience

Being born & raised in Oahu....This spot really made me think of "home". The way they talk pidgin and hearing them tell the elder women, "hi aunty". Really made me feel like I was in Hawaii again. The food...omg!!! The butter mochi pancakes!!!! I need to come back again for that. And they're HUGE! They definitely need to be shared. Their plates are also huge. My niece and her bf also got the malasadas pancakes and they said it tasted exactly like it but smashed flat! Definitely will be back. Loved the ALOHA here

Another 5 star 5 diamond experience. This time I ordered the Kalua Benedict and it was off the chain. Did a side order of corned beef hash, just okay. Had a taste of the butter mochi pancakes, shut the front door. Kanani and the crew does an amazing job. Keep it up.

This restaurant is hands down amazing! My daughter and I have been coming here almost once a week and they have never disappointed us. We get something different every time we went and it wasn't planned. It was just what our cravings told us. We've had pancakes, corned beef hash, kalua quesadilla, breakfast burrito, eggs and bacon, Kanani burger, fries, chop steak...you get the picture. Every item just hits the spot. You really can't go wrong with anything you decide to get. They are all delicious. The one must have item that we both love and always get is: the gravy. We mix it with rice, dip our fries or burger in it, and even pour it over the quesadilla. It's that good and I highly recommend ordering a side of it to go with your meal. You'll thank me later. Everyone at Kanani's are amazing. They are all super chill, have lots of aloha and I never seen any of them stress when it gets a little crazy. This tells me, they are great people, love what they are doing and have pride in their brand. Please support local and give Kanani's Cafe a visit!

Came here for Sunday brunch after church and it was perfect. The family that owns this place are very attentive and really sweet. They make you feel comfortable and at home in their restaurant. They ensure your food is taken care of and that they can accommodate anything you might need. We really enjoyed our eggs, rice, toast, Portuguese sausage, and the best MALASADA pancake I've ever had! (Not pictured because we ate it too fast) lol but aside from the the prices are fair and I would definitely come back for the vibe and food!

Love this spot so much! So homey, and comforting. The food is all so good in their own way. The owner is so nice and she really makes you feel like you're in her own home, which I love. When we came in, the place was full of people that you wouldn't think they had only opened a couple of weeks ago! & the way the owner was chatting up with every table it was like she was hosting her friends at her place lol. We put our names down on the list and waited a short while before we got seated, ordered & got our food. It's a small menu but I know they plan on adding more items. We really wanted the butter mochi pancakes but they were sold out. We were told it's better to call and see if they still have before coming in because they sell out of that one pretty fast. We ordered the portagee Benedict, the Hawaiian omelet and the Malasada pancakes. All of which were so delicious! They also have special iced teas with flavors like guava and pineapple! The hospitality here is unmatched and I hope they continue to thrive!

Hidden gem newly opened on Rainbow. Staff are great and friendly and make good recommendations. Service is top notch and ownership is handsome checking in on tables and meals. We have been several times and the mochi pancakes are a must. So many good dishes and portions are good value.

The food was onolicious! My dad and I came on a Sunday after church and we waited for about 25 mins as it was packed. But it was well worth the wait. I had the corned beef hash extra crispy and my dad had the malasada pancakes and a few sides. He said he loved the pancakes. I also had the guava juice (not freshly squeezed) but still good. The service was excellent and very friendly! Will definitely come back!

However.... There're also controllables that went wrong and is the prime reason for this review. I ordered 2 drinks along with some baked goodies (we found some stuff we like even though they were out of almost all our favourites). The forgot one drink completely, so when we were still standing around in the middle of the shop the girl behind the cash register looked at me and said "did you need anything else?" Like, yes my drink? Remember like 7 minutes ago I placed the order? So, starts making the hot pistachio latte in a tiff but sprays frothed milk all over the place. So, during take two, she's taking off her apron and asking the guy next to her to help. He was super useful when he just pointed and whispered something to the other girl- who now took over my (apparently super complicated) hot latte order. Second girl kept consulting her 3 other coworkers (cuz apparently it requires an act of congress to get the recipe together for hot milk + tea....) After a very entertaining series of events I was handed a drink and left. First sip in the car... COLD. CHUNKY. MILK. FROM. HOT. COFFEE. CUP. Quick u-turn later, I'm once again greeted with deer in headlights by a group of 4 confused people. I told them my drink is cold, she asked if it was supposed to be hot. Ummmmm yes?! Beyond the fact that you handed it to me in a HOT DRINK CUP? It's on my receipt? Take 3... she apologizes and starts making the drink and then gets confused once again. I believe she was holding the "cloud" bottle as she's conferring with her cohort and asks if SHE SHOULD MICROWAVE IT.... To which the male worker says, you're not supposed to microwave those. *facepalm* Bunch more whispers later I'm handed a drink. She said "do you wanna see if that's hot enough for you?" I'm so glad we took an extra 15 minutes during our Las Vegas trip to stop by this bakery. It's…read moreeasily one of the best bakeries I've been to. Apple Latte: Incredible. It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it. Parking is easy and straightforward, and the café itself is absolutely adorable. If you have time, sit down and enjoy the experience.
