I spoke to him several times over the course of a month or so and he was always very pleasant and patient. I did a walkthrough a couple of days before the party with the catering captain that went very well, but when this person arrived on site for the party on Friday, her conduct when she arrived was concerning. She was very unprofessional and caused unnecessary disruption in the lobby of our building - the rest of her Team were wonderful and did a great job. Another issue was food presentation, it was not at all what we anticipated based off of conversation or website photos. The assortment of desserts we ordered we served on very used cookie baking sheets for example (see photos). Food labels were also not provided so attendees could not easily identify items, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. The service also felt rushed and somewhat disorganized, despite the catering team arriving early for setup and being asked to be setup at a specific time. Overall, the food was just okay, but nothing stood out over the rest - we ordered heavy appetizers like the Cranberry Chili Meatballs, Mini Beef Wellingtons, Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers, Italian Shrimp, Mini Falafel with Spiced Hummus, Turkey Sliders and Tomato Mozzarella Arancini plus a assortment of different desserts as mentioned above. Maybe it was just a bad day, I know that catering companies are very busy especially during the holidays, but I don't think we will be hiring them again unfortunately.

Their menu was extensive and had options for different types of food limitations (vegan, vegetarian etc.) It was affordable at about $27 pp which included 3 appetizers, 1 salad, 2 mains, 2 sides, and 3 desserts. This is a small family business and Shawn and his wife are very warm, friendly people. Shawn was easy to communicate and work with. They arrived timely to our event and set everything up. The food was ready to serve at the designated time. We ordered tri-tip, chicken, portobello mushrooms, mac & cheese, zucchini, and the meal also included green salad and rolls. The Chicken and Mac&cheese were very good and our guests even commented how delicious they were. The green salad was Spring mix greens with shredded carrots and a couple different salad dressings. The rolls were Kings Hawaiian, which was a favorite of my grandkids as well as other guests. The tri-tip was very chewy with some gristle. The zucchini was over-cooked and mushy. Overall, we were very satisfied with this business. We would definitely choose the chicken and mac&cheese again. They cleaned up everything well and left us food since there were 10 guests that didn't come that we had paid for.

Selland's has an amazing array of hot and cold food to select from made fresh for their customers. Seating is comfortable and meals are affordable. Order at the counter and then find a place to sit.
