Create your own combo: crispy beef taco, puffy taco, and cheese enchilada

Pulido's just recently opened in Willow Park, and I was quite pleased with my visit there. It was crowded on a Sunday night and we had to wait for a table for about 15 minutes, but that is to be expected at the opening of a new restaurant. We started off with the typical chips, salsa, and queso. I loved the salsa, very fresh tasting and flavorful. Also loved the white queso. Off to a good start. For my entree I ordered the create your own combo with a crispy beef taco, a puffy taco, and a cheese enchilada with chili con carne. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Only downside was the ground beef was just a tad on the salty side. It's a good sized restaurant inside that has a bar area with probably 12 seats. This is a place I could see myself going back to frequently.

Worse food I've eaten anywhere. The corn tortillas were not edible! The food came out cold and it tasted awful. Do not go there!

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. Just one small thing that's a turn off, never serve a basket with broken and pieces of chips. But I still give you a five! Because I eaten Mexican food from the west to the east and plate knocked it out of the park. to the chef and Wow Juan GREAT SERVICE YOUNG MAN!!!!!

I'm going 4 stars, "I'm a fan" for the whole experience…read more So I've know for many years that there is a place to eat INSIDE David's Stove Shop ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/davids-stove-shop-weatherford ). Sounds like it was called "The Shed" ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-shed-weatherford-4 ), but now it's called Manny's Cafe. Unless you enter from the west end of the building, you must walk through David's to get to Manny's. It's an odd experience, and you really wonder if there is a place to eat back here... But keep walking, and follow the signs, and you do find a sit down restaurant complete with table service. Breakfast and lunch is served. We came for lunch. For lunch I had a burger. Thuy had the catfish. Burger was OK. Nothing fancy. Just your basic burger with LOPT (lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato). Thuy's catfish is more noteworthy. I don't think it was a frozen product, and do believe it was cornmeal battered to order, as where the onion rings, which came highly recommended. Very tasty. It was a neat dining experience, and glad we tried it. Also, special shout out to the woman working the dinning room. I forgot her name, but she was super sweet and friendly, and answered our numerous questions with a smile. Oh, and the tip on the onions rinds was appreciated. We are glad we ordered them! Afterwards, we did wander through David's, and that was a neat experience too. Cell service is kinda sketchy, but there is free WiFi (see photo). Bottom line: Kinda wish I had tried the previous place too.
