I found this smoke shop 2 years ago and decided i needed to go here because of the intriguing name. Zzyzx. Now, 2 years later, it's the only smoke shop around Ventura County that i'll go to, i have 7 bongs from here, 2 bubblers and Art helped me pick up a really cute rig yesterday that i'm absolutely in love with. The staff is so incredibly friendly and informative, they're always cutting me great deals and not only just giving me their advice, but their friendship. They value their customers and have so much inventory to choose from. They can definitely be pricey here and there, but they amplify quality over quantity and do whatever it takes to make sure you're satisfied with your purchases. I'm very picky with my pieces and they will sit there with me, with so much patience to ensure we find exactly what i'm looking for, they help me when i don't know what the hell i'm doing with a product and explain how it's properly used, they're honest and so informative. This smoke shop is by far one of the best ive been to in this location. I went in with my boyfriend just now and we were helped by Ace, who we found out has worked there since the store opened. He told us how he pours his heart and soul into the place and it really shows, as the shop is so well put together and taken care of with so many amazing pieces, and also as he is such a kind hearted guy with EXCELLENT customer service. working in customer service myself, i know how it feels to want to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed, and he did just that. he also gave us some excellent discounts on pieces, including an item that we accidentally broke and he did not make us pay for. i highly highly recommend this smoke shop if you live in the area or are just visiting, it promise it will be worth your time and money. I turned 40 this year, and was looking to experiment with CBD, having no experience with anything else, to attempt to alleviate some mental health issues. I was calling around to different places, and Ace was the guy I immediately felt was going to be helpful. I am so thankful I went here, because he was so informative and patient about hearing me out about my woes, and gave a variety of recommendations, and was so completely generous and understanding this was all new to me. It's honestly the only smoke shop that I've seen with so many different items like pokemon cards, streetwear, and of course pipes, vapes, bowls, etc. The owner is super friendly and chill so I never felt the need to worry about the price of items being OD. One time I was having trouble finding a festival ticket and the owner Richard was able to hook me up with one (way under retail!). Cant get that kind of service at another smoke shop. The pieces are insane but the customer service is the reason to come. It was my first time in and the owner Ace was the nicest guy right when we walked in. He gave us great deals on our pieces and we left with more than we even meant to get. I broke an air-circulator for one of his dab rigs on accident and he was totally chill about it and didn't even ask me to pay for it. They have really swaggy street wear as well, featuring some of my favorite custom Lakers jerseys out there.
