We purchased the Puffy Royal. Within six months it had sagged so badly it hurt my back so bad we had to stop sleeping on it. We are side sleepers and not big people. I took multiple pictures of the mattress and they all clearly showed that the mattress sagged and the topping was beginning to wrinkle and bunch; however, since I did not have the exact picture they wanted, they would not even entertain a solution. After reading other reviews it appears that this is how they operate to avoid warranty claims. Do not buy a mattress from this company! I am so dissapointed because it was very expensive. We could have purchased a sleep number for the same cost. Save yourself the headache and purchase from a company that has a real warranty. I really feel like we were duped. read more

Puffy - You can see the dip in the middle and also the space under straight edge. And the straight edge isn't even over the dip. Wrinkling on top. - Mattresses Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This is the worst company to deal with regarding any defective mattress with a lifetime guarantee. I've sent 15 photos regards the imprint hole left in mattress. They keep asking for more photos. First with a level, then measure depth of permanent indentation, then the whole mattress. Now today take a photo with a broom handle. It's all smoke & mirrors. I am a secret shopper and I advise buyer beware. You do not want to deal with this company. read more

Beautiful Mattress, Painful Experience -- and No Real Support I purchased a Puffy mattress on October 1, 2023, after reading dozens of glowing reviews -- especially from side sleepers like me. I made the investment in good faith, choosing their most luxurious and softest model, and spending over $4,000 to ensure the best possible sleep. I was drawn to the brand's reputation for quality, alignment support, and customer satisfaction. What followed was six months of increasing and unexplained hip pain. I sought chiropractic care, began a stretch therapy regimen, and tried everything I could think of to relieve the discomfort. Nothing worked -- until I traveled out of state. On a trip to Texas, my pain vanished entirely. It happened again while visiting family in Arkansas. That's when I realized: the one constant that triggered the pain was sleeping on my Puffy mattress. To be sure, I conducted a test at home -- three nights in my guest room on a Beautyrest Black mattress -- and the pain disappeared again. Returning to my Puffy mattress brought the pain right back. The conclusion was clear: the mattress was too soft for my body type, particularly in the hips, and lacked the support I needed despite being marketed as ideal for side sleepers. I reached out to Puffy, hoping they might offer a solution. I wasn't expecting a full refund, but I hoped for a credit toward a firmer model or any gesture of meaningful support. I shared the full context: months of medical treatment, travel-based testing, and clear evidence of harm. Despite all this, I was told I was past the 101-night trial period and the only thing they could offer was a mattress topper -- which, frankly, undermines the entire point of purchasing a $4,000 mattress with built-in luxury layers. While the customer service tone was polite, the resolution was rigid and dismissive. I'm now stuck with a mattress I can't sleep on and a physical issue it helped create. If you're considering Puffy, I strongly urge you to be cautious -- especially if your body type requires firmer hip support. And know that once the 101-night trial ends, Puffy's policy leaves no room for flexibility, even when health is affected. For a brand positioned around care and comfort, that's a painful disappointment. read more

This post is a bit overdue, but I wanted to give the mattress a proper test drive before sharing my thoughts. Like others have mentioned, ordering from Puffy was fantastic. Their website is detailed, never pushy, and exactly the kind of online shopping experience I actually enjoy. It was right before the holidays, and I had narrowed it down to two models online. I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough their comparison charts were - really helped me decide between the Cloud and Royal. I ended up going with the Royal; it honestly feels like sleeping on a cloud (not that I've ever done that, but you get the idea). Also ordered their cooling pillow. The mattress arrived within a week in a compact box - much faster than expected! Now, 4-5 months in, I can confidently say I still love this mattress. The quality seems built to last, so I've been rotating it regularly like they recommend. Setup was super easy and the mattress expanded perfectly. For the first time in my life, I genuinely look forward to going to bed. Even my sleep tracker shows I'm sleeping better than ever. Thank you, Puffy team! read more

Fantastic customer service! Got detailed information on how to select the right mattress for us, depending on our age and health conditions. We picked a firm memory foam King size with a very reasonable price and delivered in 4 days. The mattress was comfortable but took a few days to get used to. Thank you to the customer service team for helping us with any questions. We're so happy with it after using it for about a month. read more

We have been on the search for an affordable mattress for a couple of weeks. The hard part was trying to find something in stock or that could deliver quickly. Puffy was our final choice and we were happy it was the RIGHT one! I went online and found their price options. I chose one, and I can get it delivered next week. I did like that they had a sleep trial guarantee which I highly doubt we'd use but it's nice to know we have an option if we get the mattress and we just don't like it. I'm glad to check this off the list!!! read more

I'm back after a month to give Puffy my 5 stars - wanted to give it time for a real experience. Ordered the Lux Mattress and also wanted a new pillow. The customer service team definitely handled my questions with great professionalism and the mattress has been perfect. They took their time to make sure everything was right, which is above and beyond. I appreciate the effort because as a business owner myself, I would do the same. Thank you Puffy. read more

A few days in with my new Puffy Mattress and I'm loving it so far. Delivery was quick, which was great. The mattress is soft and comfy - really enjoying the plush feel. The customer service team was really helpful answering my questions before and after purchase. I think I've found a great fit for my sleep needs. As a side sleeper, it's been great, but I've noticed it works well when I'm on my back too. It's early days, but I'm impressed. read more

Puffy is the mattress king!!! Never owned a really great mattress before, and I was a little skeptical about online mattress shopping. However, Puffy's website made my experience educational and enjoyable! The whole process from ordering to delivery was smooth. read more

Absolutely amazing service from Puffy's online shop! Their website was beyond exceptional for browsing mattresses. Often times when you visit online stores you're bombarded with pop-ups and chat windows, but Puffy's site gave me the perfect amount of space to explore at my own pace. The detailed product pages provided factual, supportive information on the various types of mattresses they offer. When I did have questions, their email support team responded quickly with helpful answers without any pushy sales tactics. I bought a Puffy mattress and couple of years ago because of all the positive reviews - it was expensive too. Nothing but regret ever since. I thought I'd get used to it but never did. It feels like being stuck in a bog and is uncomfortably hot in every season. Are all the positive reviews paid for? read more

Stellar service from Puffy Mattress! The online ordering process was super easy - no frills, no hassle, just straightforward information. Had a Queen-size Puffy mattress delivered to our remote farm ranch, and their delivery partner handled it perfectly! One of the simplest transactions I've ever done. The mattress arrived in a box, was easy to set up, and expanded quickly. It's comfortable with great support - the memory foam contours well without making you feel stuck. read more

This is a terrible company. First off after I ordered this hybrid mattress for like $550. Later I saw it on Amazon for $200 less but Puffy said it was a different one and mine was firmer tho they sure looked the same to me. Anyway I get the mattress and for 6 mos I'm happy with it until it started breaking down and my arms started going numb again. I called Puffy and they had me send a bunch of pictures for the warranty. Which they refused to honor because they said my electric bed had metal bars on it. Even tho I told the Puffy sales rep the exact kind of incline frame I had and she's the one who recommended this mattress to me. So now I have to spend $2,000 at Sealy because Puffy sucks and they are dishonest. I mean what kind of electric bed frame doesn't have metal bars ? This is a scam outfit. Dont trust them. You have been warned. read more

I normally don't write reviews but had to this time! Had an incredible experience with Puffy. Recently bought two mattresses and couldn't be happier! Checked out all the other mattress options in LA and Puffy was hands down THE best. The quality is outstanding and my sleep has improved so much. read more

Ordering this mattress was easy and delivery was quick - took about 5 days. First week was an adjustment (used to sleep on a firmer mattress), but now I'm sleeping much better. My shoulder pain has improved quite a bit since I'm a side sleeper. The cooling feature actually works - my old mattress turned into a heat trap during summer. Customer service was helpful when I called with questions about which foundation to use. Return policy made me feel better about buying online, but I'm definitely keeping this one. Good mattress for the price. read more

What an incredible team! They truly helped me purchase a mattress and pillow and were extremely kind and patient. I am an extremely type A person with very picky taste - I know what I want and won't settle for less, so they actually made it easy and reduced my anxiety about purchasing my Puffy Lux mattress. Thank you so much, Puffy team! The price was also very good, and the delivery with setup was excellent. read more

I had such a great experience ordering from Puffy Mattress online, thanks to the attention and care from their customer support team. I was shopping for new bedding after a recent allergy flare-up, and they helped me bundle my items and get an unbeatable price--especially with the Memorial Day sale. I'm extremely happy with the entire experience! read more

Just got my Puffy Queen mattress and wow! Super easy ordering it online. No annoying salespeople or fake "deals" like those mattress stores. Shipping was fast and setup took like 5 mins. Been sleeping WAY better - my back doesn't hurt anymore when I wake up! Love the 101-night trial but honestly I knew after the first week this was a keeper. Best online purchase I've made in forever. read more

Bought a Puffy Queen mattress after my old mattress started giving me back problems. Getting it inside my 3rd-floor apartment was way easier than expected (thanks box delivery). The first couple of nights felt weird after my old spring mattress but now I'm sleeping much better. The best part is waking up without my usual back pain. Caught their fall sale which saved me a good chunk. Definitely recommend it if you're a side sleeper with back issues. read more

I cannot honestly recommend anyone else or any mattress company besides Puffy Mattress. They literally have the best customer service and prices. Customer support is extremely professional and will do anything to make you satisfied with your purchase. Don't judge a company when things are going right; judge them when things go bad. Puffy cares about their customers, and they will always make sure you are a satisfied customer. Thank you! read more

3rd time ordering from Puffy. My last mattress was great, but I wanted something softer this time. Customer service helped me find the perfect hybrid in my budget - so comfortable! Because it shipped faster than expected, they updated my delivery and got it to me sooner, which I really appreciated! The delivery team was on time and professional. Really happy to support a company that takes care of their customers like this. read more

We researched so many different brands online and Puffy was the best! We're super picky sleepers and their customer service was so patient helping us choose the right mattress through chat and calls. We're so happy with our Puffy - the ordering process was smooth and shipping was fast. They had great white glove delivery service and even offered complimentary old mattress removal. Could not recommend them more - they'll definitely help you find the perfect mattress online! read more

Please give yourself a chance to check out Puffy. Customer service was kind enough to walk me through every mattress option and its functions and helped me find exactly what I needed. I'm a back sleeper but also love sleeping on my side so I got their contour pillow - it supports both positions sooooo comfortably. read more

Puffy Mattresses are a huge disappointment. To begin their customer service practically doesn't exist. You're on your own. Once the mattress arrives the dimensions and thickness are completely wrong. Trying to get a replacement is impossible without multiple measurements and photographs. Please , if you're going to invest in a mattress you'd save some money sleeping on the floor than buy a mattress from Puffy. Gregory Bishopp read more

By far one of the best online shopping experiences I've had. Puffy's customer service team was so helpful, friendly and truly customer-focused. They made the purchase experience seamless through their website and provided detailed information via email, answering all our questions every step of the way. Very insightful and knowledgeable about their products. The whole process from ordering to delivery was smooth. Will definitely be recommending Puffy to my friends and family. Really happy with my Puffy mattress choice. Online shopping made me nervous at first, but their customer service was super helpful and patient - no pressure at all. Got all my questions answered about materials and firmness options. Delivery came right when they said it would, and setup was a breeze. The mattress is just the right mix of comfort and support, especially for my back. Love that it doesn't make me overheat like my old one did. Couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience! read more

Bought my Puffy online and had a surprisingly good experience. The website was easy to navigate without all those annoying popups trying to rush you. Spent a couple days comparing their different models and actually found the specs pretty helpful. Emailed them a few questions about which firmness would work for side sleeping and got helpful responses within a day. Price was fair and it arrived faster than I expected. Been sleeping on it for about 2 months now and happy with the purchase. read more

3 weeks passed I wanted to write about quality, material and the customer service Puffy has. I ordered the mattress online, thought it was complex but not - actually it was easy peasy. Mattress arrived after 4 days and they even helped me. Material is high end - quality and 100% natural and about customer service I am really thankful that they know how to help to understand problems, back pain etc. Thank you so much. read more

Got the Puffy mattress with their adjustable base last month. Nice combo - can raise my head up when reading and flat for sleep. Mattress stays cool and gives good support. Wasn't planning on spending this much but caught their fall sale. Worth it for better sleep. read more

Company lies about the lifetime warranties AND the height of their mattresses! My mattress pad legit started to fall apart at 2 1/2 years and they denied my claim after I've used it very gently! Very unsettling. The emails I got were very rude and essentially flat out no for a legit claim. Horrible company. Also you can't write reviews on their website unless you purchase and they send you a link and then you can't edit your review and they give you a $350 coupon to write review so it's a scam! Measure your mattress! Mine said it would expand a 14 inches and it only expanded to 11 instead of letting me return it back they sent me a complementary mattress pad for essentially lying. read more

Never thought I'd buy a mattress without trying it first, but my apartment's tiny staircase made store delivery impossible. Went with Puffy because of the box shipping. Surprisingly great quality - firm enough for my back but not brick-hard. Been sleeping on it about a month, no more morning headaches. Their customer service answered all my questions before buying too. read more

The best mattress finally arrived - wasn't easy finding the right one, but after some research found this mattress. Went with the Lux model and really happy with it. Top 3 things I love - quality feels solid, cooling system actually works, and setup was no hassle. Just remember it takes a few days to break in, but after that it gets more comfortable every night. So yeah, really happy with my choice. read more

One month with my new Puffy - no complaints here. Keeps cool through the night, good balance between soft and firm. Wasn't sure about the whole bed-in-a-box thing but setup was pretty simple. Nice mattress that just works. Worth checking out their deals if you're shopping around. read more
